Horrible!!!!! Not the actual health providers in the back that actually have a job to do. However the reception area is more comparable to a big gossip, share your personal life stories round table. By the time you leave there you will know whos wedding they attended, what they did the night before and all possible gossip you can imagine. When you approach the window and its actually time to do their job they serve you with much less enthusiasm. once they return back to their gossip, faces now have a smile again. Called in to schedule appointment, in the back I can hear a lot of chatter and could clearly hear the male that at times sits at the reception area talk about personal stuff. most of the time when I go there, he just sits there so I never really knew what his job description actually entails. At the time I did not know that he is actually the "supervisor". I did not know, till I had some back and forth discussion with the lady that picked up the phone, told me I would have to speak with her supervisor. By surprise the lovely voice that I heard on the answering machine, telling me that he is currently on the phone or away from his desk is the same voice that just ran his mouth the entire time in the back round. Im pretty sure that the lady that transferred my call was not to happy with me so it took a little for her to transfer the call, just enough timer for her to tell her story about what my problem is and for him to decide that he really has no desire to handle the situation at this time. And let my phone call go to voicemail. At the time I really wanted to bang my phone against the wall this is a shame. I wanted to switch a long time ago but location was convenient and I dont go that often so it never quite bothered me, but this is just crazy. I called at 10 am it is now 2.23pm and I still did not get a call back. Lot of things must have happened over the weekend. Also, I created a google account just write this review.

VERY upset right now. I have been going to the George St. Facility for a few months. Started going there due to the fact they have a sliding scale. I went with the goal of getting my dental implant completed. They said they could/would do this. They did xrays. Said they found MULTIPLE cavities, which HAD to be filled, ONE Appointment at. A. Time.... Before they were able to do the implant. Went through alll the fillings, all the appointments, all the driving from Hanover to York (only George St does implants), all the cost of the fillings... (though 1/2 price, still very expensive!) And after all that, I go today to "discuss the details of my implant" and she tells me that "Ive recently developed too many issues and Id be better treated by a Periodontist." Which I cant afford! Maybe I could have, had I not spent $1,000 on having cavities filled... They knew they werent going to do that implant. Im right back to where I started, but with less money than I started with. I feel like Ive been had.

Had a 12:30 appointment with arlene to help with insurance and she was apparently at the dentist in the same building. I dont know why you would make a dentist appointment during a clients appointment, but anyway we waited because my mother took off work to be with me and I left my sick son at home with a babysitter to be there. The other ladys there were very helpful and we appreciate them tryng to get in touch with her to see where she was (at the dentist) but unfortunately we will not return. We waited about an hour. I am very disappointed in this because I wanted to get this all taken care of and its very rude to take up someone elses time, especially when it is a scheduled appointment.

Two stars both belong to Dr. Gamble who is an excellent dentist. The staff should just plain be fired. Appointments are confused and lost, the conversations( loud enough for patients to hear) are down right inappropriate and they behave as if they are doing the patients a favor by speaking to them. The staff treats clients as if they are stealing dental services. The cost is equal if not higher than a private practice if you have insurance or are paying. They do offer services on a sliding scale for low income. Hard to get an appointment even when there is an issue.

I have been going to Family First Health for my dental care for a few years, during that time Ive been treated by Dr. Joe, Dr. Mountain and Dr. Lowe. I have never had the kind of care at any other office that I receive at Family First Health. They take a personal interest in me, tell me what I can do at home to better care for my teeth, and, at my last visit, Dr. Joe shared with me something he learned at a recent conference that helped me develop a better dental care regiment at home. I have found my permanent dental home at Family First Health.

It was my first appointment there, I got lost on the way I called them for directions and that I was gonna be late. I parked in the parking garage and walked three blocks to get there to only for them to tell me they cant take me because I was late. I said I got lost and that I just called to tell them that, they did not care, they acted like me getting lost was MY FAULT. They told me that they cant schedule me for another year. They were very rude on the phone and in person. I never been treated like that at the doctors office in my life.

There should be zero stars... this place isnt horrible... its just sad. Family First is my primary care physician -- I have private health insurance but its close to where I live. Which seems convenient now, because Im really sick... vomiting continuously and my blood pressure is near the dangerous range. Family First: We dont have any opening today. Call back tomorrow to see if anythings available. Me: Wait, you cant make an appointment. Family First: Nope. Call back tomorrow to see if theres an opening. Wow.

please do not use their dental serices especially for kids.....took my 5 yr old there....they did x=rays and never looked in his mouth just said he needed a baby root canal and we would have to find someone to do it......took him right away for a 2nd opinion at dentaldreams and turns out he has a severe infection around the tooth requiring antibiotics then it will be extracted.....no root canal needed........his face is swollen.....how does a professional miss an infection?

I was at this office for many of years. Was feed up with their bad treatment and none caring staff. I tried to give them a chance , plus I dont like change but I had to get out of there. They dont explain anything to you about your health well which was bad for me since I have high blood pressure and sugar. The Dentist here his the worst. I advice you just stay away. This is how they see a human $$$$$$
