History: I came from a great chiropractor back in Minnesota where I could complete my sessions in about 10 minutes per time, had no problems with payment/insurance, and saw excellent results. When I came down to Epic Healthcare I was far from satisfied. After a few visits. I found out what they were up to and bailed as fast as I could. My issues: _______________________________________________________________________________________ Not living up to website. Although my insurance (will) cover it, on their website they had said that the first visit was free. Later they said yes the consultation was free, but it still counts as an "office visit" and thus billed for that.____________________________________________________________________________________ Rude behavior. Although I knew what I needed to have done, they had me go through the full health history. Maybe it was an off day, but not asking me or showing interest in what I was there for (spending so much of the time beating a dead horse on something Ive already handled) seemed inconsiderate. While having adjustments, the doctors seemed adequate and nice. Long appointments I did not want: They scheduled me for around 16 sessions in 1 month around 60-90 min each. . Most of these appointments were during normal day working hours and it is difficult to take that much time off with such short notice. When I told them I could not make it to all of them they said they had already scheduled them and would need to coordinate them into the next month. Additionally, they scheduled me for PT and injections which I did not want to take the time or money to complete. _______________________________________________________________________________________Opening a credit card without my consent. Maybe it was a confusion of the discussion, but Ive heard that Im not the first to complain about this. About 2 weeks after I started I received a CareCredit Card in the mail, with around $1600 due on it, around 20% APR. This was their estimated amount for after insurance for the first month. I was never made aware of anything called CareCredit and certainly did not want to sign up for a credit card. I do not believe I signed anything stating I agreed to this. _______________________________________________________________________________________Not prompt on returning calls. As you can see here, I needed some answers throughout this process. Although not happy with this service I was very cordial. It often took them a full week to return my calls. _______________________________________________________________________________________6 months for the bill to be processed completely I have primary and secondary health insurances. The primary insurance paid some of the bill but I had to remind them many times to submit the claim to my secondary insurance. I had to pay the estimated costs after my primary insurance out of pocket. Note that if I would have let this sit on CareCredit Id be accumulating that awful APR rate. Finally I got this settled, but only enough to go from 1 to 2 google stars.

REVIEW From: Doubting Thomas: To: Whom it May Concern: My experience at the Family Care Chiropractic & Wellness Center (“CC Center”) all began when I arrived at my local gym one afternoon, to be greeted by a lovely representative from the CC Center, whom attempted to convinced me that they could absolutely take care of my various pain points, which were derived from numerous sporting incidences over the last 20+ years. After agreeing to run an electronic analysis on my central nervous systems that quickly identifying severe nerve tension aligned with my neck, right shoulder, and lower back; which was precisely where I was experiencing the pain; I immediately interpreted it to be coincidental, but fortunately agreed to evaluate their facility and see what they had to offer. I am now a few weeks into a prescribed treatment program that involves three visits per/week for 12 weeks (approx 30 mins per/visit), which includes physical therapy, electronic muscle stimulants, and specific exercises. Best Regards, Now: Pleasant Thomas (updated below) To: Whom it May Concern, (Pleasant Thomas is now providing an update): At approx. 30% into my prescribed treatment program (total: 12 weeks), the folks at the Family Care Chiropractic & Wellness Center (“CC Center”) conducted my 2nd electronic analysis, aimed at determining my progress (expectation was set at 25%); the results demonstrated a 47% improvement. Now, approx. 60% into the program, I have obtained 90% relief in pain point #1 (lower back), 80% for paint point #2 (right shoulder) and 70% in pain point #3 (neck). The results have overwhelmingly exceeded expectations, I personally view this endeavor as being as close to a miracle as I could ever experience… With only four more weeks to go, I am 100% convinced that I will feel 20 years younger after completing the program. In case it is not obvious, I am submitting this update as a sincere testimonial for anyone considering the services that I have been so fortunate to discover at the CC Center. I am a full-time musician/drummer. I have a lot of physical strain on the majority of my upper body. I was literally a walk in one day because I had always been interested in chiropractic care due to a lot of the physical pain and soreness in my back. I was also weary about chiro care being too expensive or not affordable. I couldnt have been more wrong. I walked into Family Care Chiropractic and was greeted warmly and got paperwork and a FREE consult setup that day in less that 15 minutes. I learned so much in one day about my body not being able to function at its maximum potential and how it could affect me. My music and performance is very important to me and I had no idea what the affects would be. The results? My drumming has improved tenfold! Not only physically, but I have improved mentally in creativeness. I feel more loose, less foggy head, but mostly I have ENERGY! I noticed after about 2 adjustments that I slept better, was more awake, and I didnt feel like I needed naps every hour of the day. I dont need caffeine in the mornings or throughout the day, my mind is more clear, and did I mention my range of motion and drumming has improved to a potential it has never been in my entire life? The price? Im here to tell you that any GOOD care is not dirt cheap, but FCC is extremely affordable, and extremely flexible with payment. I am a young adult just getting out of college, and I didnt have one problem getting a full 3 months under my financial belt. If you are like me and feel like you want your dollar to be put to good use with every purchase then this is something you can definitely count on. You cant put a price on good health, and feeling energetic and just more healthier during the day. So what have you got to lose? The consult is quick and FREE and wouldnt take more than one hour of your time to do. I wish everyone could get the experience I have had and will continue to have at Family Care Chiropractic. My experience with Family Care Chiropractic and Wellness has been life-changing! Prior to my treatment I suffered from extreme fatigue, severe shoulder pain and seasonal allergies. I knew I didnt want to "just live with" my symptoms and that Advil, energy drinks and allergy medications werent the solution. I didnt know much about chiropractic care but I gladly accepted a complimentary screening at my local Sprouts. After the screening I knew I needed to come in for a full examination. I went in to Sprouts for a spaghetti squash and left with an answered prayer! Im so happy to report that after just a few adjustments my symptoms greatly improved. I recently completed my treatment plan and have started my maintenance plan. Because of the treatment I received, my energy has returned, my shoulder is completely pain-free and I finished the allergy season symptom free...all without medication.
