5/19/2016 Questionable ethics. My daughter was being treated by Norfolk Chiropractic at the direction of my estranged husband. I contacted the office this past week to inquire about the specifics of her exam and proposed care. I was told by the doctors wife, the office manager, that I "really needed to speak to the doctor" and that she would have him return my call. When no call came, I called the office again and still received no return call. When I finally reached the doctors wife, I was rudely told they would not release information to me; that I should "talk to my husband." When I informed her that I was the custodial parent and she could not refuse to release this information to me, she still was curt and offered no viable option to obtain the records. I would expect a medical practice to understand and adhere to laws related to medical records of minors and to honor the requests of custodial parents. Their unprofessional attitude (yes, she told me "good luck, were closing" when I proposed I come to the office) and unethical practices should alarm any potential patient. I should also add, that my daughter has since been diagnosed by her pediatrician with an extremely common condition, contrary to the treatments and diagnosis given by this chiropractor. Perhaps, Dr. Niblo should refer pediatric patients to doctors that specialize in pediatric issues.

On my first day there, I immediately felt comfortable! Office is bright and cheerful; and was given a packet describing what was going on. Dr. Niblo is very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing! They took X Rays of my spine and Dr. Niblo showed me what the problem was. I had pinched some nerves, and other alignment problems, making my back weak. I go to him twice a week now for therapy. Im making some changes in my life; and itll be for my own good. Just going to take it one day at a time. Please dont hesitate to contact him for your needs; youll be glad you did! I was in Norfolk for a family emergency, busy getting zero sleep and sitting in screwed up chairs for a week. After several days of that my back was a wreck and I was nowhere near any place I was familiar with. I placed a call to these guys, and they got me an appointment the same day. Dr. Niblo was friendly, knowledgeable, and effective in relieving my pain. The staff was excellent and did their best to try and accommodate my wacky schedule. I would go back again, and if I lived locally, I wouldnt look any further than these guys. Highly recommended!

Scheduled my first appointment on the phone but when I showed up for the appointment I was told that no appointment was made. I understand that mistakes happen, but there was not even a hint of an apology from the receptionist. I was made to feel that it was my fault and that I showed up. I had to take time off work to come. While I cannot comment on the quality of the chiropractor, the lack of customer service and reliability made me not want tor re-schedule. I will be looking for another chiropractor.

Every person on his staff that I have encountered has been nothing short of friendly, understanding, informative, helpful and professional. They really have a way of making you feel comfortable. Dr. Niblo is one of only two doctors I have seen in my lifetime that honestly and attentively listens when you speak. He doesnt do the standard doctor "shut down and stop listening after 15 seconds" thing. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone without hesitation!
