Unfortunately Dr.jiao neglected to properly monitor, diagnose, and care for my poor (now deceased) pup. She was diagnosed with diabetes five years ago. He put her on insulin and claimed to be monitoring it closely every time we took her for a visit. She slowly but surely lost almost all of her hair and lost so much weight. It would fluctuate and we would ask if this was normal and he said it was. One day she collapsed into her food bowl and was extremely weak. We rushed her over immediately and he didnt even take her blood. He looked at her while her little legs kept collapsing and said to give her a teaspoon of syrup to get her sugar levels up. He sent us home and it didnt feel quite right so I took her for a second opinion before giving her the syrup and thank god I did. Once I got her to the right doctor he examined her and said her levels are too HIGH and that if we have gave her syrup or waited any longer she would have started seizing. To top it all off we found out that not only was she on the wrong type of insulin for years but that she hasnt been monitored at all by him and her organs were starting to shut down. She had developed crushing disease that went unnoticed by Dr. Jiao for years. She lived a few months after being on the right medication. We also found out that she had huge cancerous tumors all over her body. Why this all went unnoticed for years is beyond me. She was always happy and active but at times she would slow down so we never knew how she truly felt. I slightly blame myself for not shopping around with vets but he came up highley recommended and I always enjoyed speaking with him as hes a really nice guy and appeared to be knowledgable at the time when I would speak with him. Please always get a second opinion.

Dr. Jiao is a healer and miracle man!!! Do your pets a favor and dont waste your time and traumatize your four-legged babies by going to other vets who dont know what theyre doing. I had two dogs and three cats when my home was most full and Dr. Jiao always correctly diagnosed my pets the first time, every time. When I first found him through a referral, he corrected issues that three of my elderly pets were having (one dog, two cats) upon the first visit. Years later, Dr. Jiao never put my furbabies through distress or recommended any unnecessary or costly procedures at the end of their lives. I am so grateful not only first and foremost for that kind of care for my pets but also by him not adding emotional and financial stress. He knows his passion in life and hes terrific at it!! So for the love of your furkids (not to mention your wallet), dont waste time and money going anywhere else. Dr. Jiao is like a swift moving tornado of smarts, know-how and sincere compassion. You might leave his office wondering what happened because he is so fast!!!... but hes accurate, every time!!.. and youll know your family member is in good hands when you see positive results or get a correct diagnosis that makes sense. Even though youll be out of his office before you know what happened (that will make you laugh after youve been there) he still does his job thoroughly and up and beyond. He returns your calls and never makes you feel bad for calling if you dont understand something and you call for clarification. He has also given his time to me, on several occasions, to help me with my personal life. Dr. Jiao is truly a very compassionate person!

I cant described how happy and relieved I feel to have FINALLY found a talented and caring vet. My maltese started limping and he was able to diagnose her, suggest the best course of treatment and really show that he is knowledgeable, not just out to get to drain the pockets of the pet owners who are worried sick about our little babies, because thats what they are and we love them so much :-) Just an example, I was giving my pet Heartguard for 5 years, half a dozen different vets told me it must be taken monthly to be effective. Dr Jiao has told me that it should only be taken in the summer, it is useless in the winter and actually the dogs develop immunity to it so its less effective and I believe might effect their liver (not sure about the last part, dont quote me on that:) Another example - my pet had an issue with digestion/stomach/lack of appetite this past winter. I took her to the vet near my house multiple times, all in all they charged me over $1000 without any clear diagnosis and after a few weeks she started eating, not sure if the treatment was any help or just the infection was out of her system. Dr Jiao mentioned that last winter many dogs had these infections. Why didnt my vet know it or mention it or diagnose it? In any case, I hope and pray that my baby gets better and hope that Dr Jiao continues to take great care in looking after our babies health.

April 9, 2015 was my first time ever dealing with Dr. Jaio and I was so happy & upset. I wish I had known of his excellent services from the time I was blessed with the cat I had. unfortunately I had to meet Dr. Jaio due to my cat being suddenly sick. I ran her to his office, and he had the most compassion for me, my cat and was very very honest about her situation. He is a doctor that does not want to take your money if there is no hope. His staff and he was so comforting to me because they knew I didnt know or want to hear the worse scenario of my cats condition but I had already had an idea but was just hoping for a miracle. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone as well as warn people to NEVER DEAL WITH COUNTY ANIMAL CLINIC IN YONKERS, NY. Due to them my cats health issue was not treated. Within 5 minutes of my conversation Dr. Jaio knew exactly what the other doctors lacked to do. I felt so bad that I didnt know him prior to that day. He told he would see me again but I said no no more pets this is too much. he laughed and said I will see you in due time. lol that was very comforting. Right now it hurts to ever think of replacing my dear Kissy Ugs but if I do, HE WILL DEF BE THE DOCTOR I go to.

He almost killed my cat!! They hed like 5 more people in the waiting room and the dr was to busy to check my cat appropriately. He touched his belly and said that the bladder is 50% full and that this is a sign of Crystals in the bladder. Plus he said that my cat have UTI. He gave him medication and said that I need to watch him for the next 24 hours & if the cat wont pee normally then we will need to come back the next day and do a surgery. I watched my cat for 24 hours and he did not eat / drink / pee. I decided to get second opinion before rushing to a surgery. I went to 2 different vets. They both did the same: X-ray & Blood work! 2 things that the vet in Westchester animals hospital didnt do.the X-ray shoed clearly that there is no crystals or stones in the bladder and no surgery is nesesery. Blood work showed that he dont even have infection. The cat hed a fever & was dehydrated! The medicine that he got in Westchester.A.H was the reason why he stopped eating and drinking & just make him sicker. And could have kill him!! I am 6 months pregnant and all this situation got me sick & stressed up. If you care about your pet then stay away from this butcher!!
