If you hate the idea of physical therapy as much as I did, you owe it to yourself to give Moriarty Physical Therapy a try. Centrally located, with easy-in-easy-out access right off of Route 55 in Arlington, the atmosphere at Moriarty’s is more like a family than a factory. Where else can you have heat applied by Batwoman (the doctors and staff dress up for Halloween)? Or pet Gracie the Therapy Dog while you grimace through an edema massage? Or be given a say in what music gets played while you’re there? I was referred to Moriarty’s by my son, to the man he calls "Dr. Quinn, Magic Man", when after surgery to repair my mangled ankle, my foot was being described as "a balloon with toes". When I first arrived, I could just barely squeeze my foot into a bedroom slipper. Now, after having worked with the staff at Moriarty’s for a few weeks, it almost resembles a normal foot again. The doctors on the staff are adept at keeping the mood light during sessions, while at the same time being serious about helping you to heal. I’ve witnessed them working with patients running in age from infants to octogenerians, with equal facility. Their love for PT and the healing it provides is immediately obvious. So if you’re like me and are having your doubts, go ahead and give Moriarty Physical Therapy a try…and be sure to tell them Gary Mac sent you!

My son fractured his ankle (tibia and fibula,) in October 2015, while at a speedskating meet. I was certain he would be out for the season. He started physical therapy in January 2016 at Moriarty. Over the weeks he went to Moriarty, I saw something truly amazing. The atmosphere was ALWAYS upbeat and positive. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, caring, and friendly. From the moment my son and I walked in, they made us feel like part of their family. My son worked with James, who was fantastic! James even went the extra mile and ordered a slide board (equipment used by speed skaters) so my son could practice the movement needed to get back on the ice. My son recovered at a miraculous rate and was able to compete in the last local meet, and the national competition in March. I credit Moriarty for his amazing recovery. I would highly recommend Moriarty to anyone looking for quality physical therapy in a fun and positive atmosphere.

Private rooms and a doctor that listens: I hurt my shoulder in the military over ten years ago. Over the years Ive developed many ways to deal with the pain which comes and goes. Recently the pains been really unbearable. I went to Dr. Quinn and in addition to treating the pain, he taught me how to sit and stand so the pain will go away. All these years Ive been sitting and standing in a way that made my shoulder worse! I wish I had seen him sooner! I was treated personally in a private room (a real room, not just a curtained off area) and given individual care. Dr. Quinn is warm and personable and best of all - he actually listens! I would recommend Moriarty Physical Therapy to anyone who wants to be taken seriously and treated with respect.

I would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Moriarty Physical Therapy. The level of personal care they provide is unseen in todays world. This place sets the standard that ALL health care professionals should strive to achieve. I would especially like thank doctors Jim, Kyle, and John for taking such a committed and personal interest in my recovery. Everyone went above and beyond what was expected and they helped me overcome the ailment that I went there to fix. I loved working with them all. Every single staff member here is super nice, and most of all, highly competent. It is very rare to see doctors nowadays who actually know what they are doing. I would recommend Moriarty to anyone that needs physical therapy.

I fractured my humerus in November 2015. The road to recovery has been difficult with a frozen shoulder, elbow and wrist. There was considerable swelling and inflammation from the injury. I started physical therapy in January. Jonathan has been terrific working with me. I couldnt have gotten as far as I have if it wasnt for Jonathan. He has been so kind, patient, gentle and encouraging. Hes truly a professional and cares about his patients. Although my therapy is still ongoing, I completely trust and have faith that Jonathan will have the function in my arm restored back to normal. Thanks Jonathan!

I first went to Moriarty Physical Therapy over 20 years ago and credit the practice with getting me off crutches and back on the soccer field with more strength in my ankle than before my injury. The education has stayed with me and I always recommend people seek out physical therapy as a tool not just for quick healing, but also for injury prevention. Now run by Phyllis daughter Nancy and Dr. Quinn, the tradition of cutting edge treatment continues. Not to mention they have private treatment rooms--goes a long way to making patients feel comfortable and relaxed to optimize results.

My 16 yr old daughter has always complained of back problems. Between an issue with scoliosis, horseback riding and gymnastics playing a big part of her life, along with being tall shes always had problems with back pain. After seeing Dr. John Quinn for just a few months, whatever techniques he used she has yet to experience any pain. He has a very easygoing way along with a good sense of humor and she felt very comfortable with him. Thank you Dr. Quinn!

Both of my kids have been treated at the Poughkeepsie office for several months and the staff is GREAT! It is easy to get appointments, the front desk staff really works with you in scheduling and assisting with any issues, insurance questions, etc. The therapists are all very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun which is great for kids. But they seem to work well with all age groups. Its always a nice experience going to Moriarity PT.

Where to begin! All of the staff at Moriarty are 100% professional, kind, personable, and are genuinely concerned and invested. I went to Moriarty a hip injury, and after a few weeks of PT began, I was in a car accident. Dr. Quinn was able to come up with a regime that incorporated exercises for both my hip and other injuries. I have recommended co-workers to Moriarty, and continue going there myself.

There isnt a bad employee here. I prefer Sheena or Kyle. Again there is not a bad employee. They all care and want to help you get better. Their hours are wide ranged and they will help you with everything you need. Their office staff is also great at assisting with approvals from insurance and workers comp. Cant say enough of great things about them.

The staff are amazing in that they troubleshoot any problems you may be experiencing but cant exactly articulate. In my opinion I would highly recommend a friend and family member to this Facility. The Hands on approach is extremely helpful, and the commrodery of the staff is a family like atmosphere. I thank all of the staff for there added help in my recovery.

I came in with a shoulder impingement. I had pain when I moved certain ways. Kyle, Bryant, and Kaitlyn worked with me. They either pushed on some of the muscles and/or had me do exercises. They were friendly and professional. Now I do not have the pain when I move. I had a great experience at Moriarty in the LaGrange location.
