I heard so many good things, but was very disappointed. When we first day down to discuss issues and she was reading my intake form she gave pause when I stated that he had all his 2 month vaccinations. Then she asked about possibly feeding him while side lying - but then gave me a disappointed look when I said he was sleeping in his crib (not co sleeping). When she heard he was still swaddled at at 12 weeks, she lost it. Told me that if I swaddled past 8 weeks I was creating a child that was disconnected from his body and would become violent at kindergarten age. That he wouldnt know how to hug, but only act aggressive for physical connection. She said that I needed to start sleeping him on his stomach immediately. I have no problem with stomach sleeping, but I dont have an issue with swaddling either. She told me she should know as she did her post doctoral studies in neurodevelopmental disorders. Uhmm...ok, moving on. She looked in his mouth as did his tongue looked mobile and good and then started taking about having his lip and tongue ties cut. I said that he was obviously getting enough food (15.5 pounds at 12 weeks) so I dont believe doing that unnecessarily and that my cousin, a speech pathologist of 20 years, who is trained to determine when lip and tongue ties are problematic, looked at him previously and said he looked great and he didnt need any surgery. She then watched me nurse and commented about what I was doing wrong. I let her know that he was really hungry but distracted in new place so latch wasnt as good as typical. She inspected his mouth again and noted how mobile his tongue was as how good his suck was before again bringing up cutting his lip and tongue ties. I reiterated that I was not interested. She stated that she understood but that I would regret it later. Her son had to have his done at 7 years old because of bed wetting and picky eating. It would be better if I did it now while he was young and it healed quicker. What?! I said that I didnt see the correlation and she went on some rant about pollution in environment causing lip and tongue ties. When I asked her what percentage of her clients needed ties cut she said 90%!!! I should have run then but didnt. During and after I fed my boy she was evaluating him for adjustment. I said I was not interested in hard popping adjustments but wanted more gentle approach. She said there is rarely and popping when she adjusts. She laid him over her knee and without discussing what she was doing she popped his whole back. I was aghast, but she just kept talking. She started to lay him down and grab his head and I stopped her and said I didnt want hard adjustments trying to discuss other options. She stood up thrust my baby at me and said "I thought you came to me for help, obviously not as you wont let me do my job". I told her my baby was 12 weeks old, so I hoped she could understand why I was nervous. She told me she guessed she was past that and didnt understand why I would be nervous. She said that she would not pop his neck but move his head and allow vertebra to slide in....what did she do? Jerk his head and pop his neck. Before I left office at end of visit she brought up cutting lip and tongue ties a third time. When I refused again she scoffed "do you work with children everyday for a living? I dont think so, so you probably dont know". I stated that I thought it might be a procedure that is over prescribed (ie. ADHD, autism, etc). Let me guess, she has a friend who is great at the procedure that she can refer me to? Do I smell kickbacks? I didnt even get into all the crazy things she says during the appointment. If you want to pay top dollar to hear every wild unscientific theory on the internet and you are ok with a practitioner that will not allow you to ask questions, by all means, go to Kids Rising. If you are a "thinking parent" that makes decisions for your child based on scientifically proven data, steer clear. She is rude and unprofessional and very possibly unethical.

My name is Albert Gomez, Im 24 years old. All of my life since a child I have struggled with pain in my lower back and lower abdomen. It was hard for me to be 100% dedicated in sports and activities. about 1 year and 6 months ago i began to experience severe and chronic back pain that left me in bed for a week straight and lost my job. I have been to doctor visits even to the emergency room once and still they could never really help me solve the problem just bandage it up with pain medicine. Finally got an MRI done and doctors concluded that, nothing but surgery would help my problem. I did not want to at my age go through surgery, I felt hopeless stressed and depressed, but thankfully a good friend of mine told me about Kids Rising i decided to give it a shot. after my first visit i experienced results that left me amazed, for the first time in a year and a half I was pain free, i felt like I could stand straight as opposed to my lean because of my curved spine. i started also to experience something that i could hardly explain, but even my sense of sight was improved, and i felt a sense of relief.I could do normal activities again that where being robbed by my back pain. i write this review for anyone out there who is struggling with same problems and are being told that there is no solution, i wanna say there is hope and i strongly encourage you to try Kids Rising.

Dr. Becky is an Earth Angel! She has been a valuable asset to my daughters healing! Her office is extremely kid friendly & that alone with an active toddler relieved quite a bit of stress I was experiencing taking her to a group style office. Dr. Becky is so patient, nurturing, and understanding. She is extremely intuitive & just knows exactly what my daughter needs. My daughter loves Dr. Becky! And so do I. When we first started going my 19 month old daughter was not sleeping through the night & displaying aggressive behavior. Dr. Becky took the time to evaluate our lifestyle and suggested an alternative probiotic to what we were taking, that wasnt grown in casein & that the aggression was attributed to her gut. With my daughters tongue tie that wasnt cut when she was younger weve experienced tension in her body & stomach issues, up until now. Since being under Dr. Beckys care my child is a different person. Its night & day. I didnt know if anything would change. I cried at our house 1st appointment because parenting had become so unbearable. I have my child back. And my sanity (somewhat lol now shes 2) I know its because of the consistent & high quality care weve experienced coming here. I highly recommend Dr. Becky especially for anyone looking for alternative & holistic treatment options to the standard Western medical model.

I started seeing Dr Becky over 5 years ago when I was pregnant with my third baby. I had daily migraines and awful tailbone pain. After that first adjustment I didnt have a migraine for weeks! I was a believer. Since then she has become our familys main healthcare provider. She is holistic in approach and extremely informative. All of my children ask for her when theyre sick. They can feel the difference before a visit to after. I have learned so much about taking care of my family from her. She has been invaluable in our journey to health. I have gone through another pregnancy in her care and each one has been smoother than the last, including birth(my third baby came faster than my first two, my fourth was the fastest of all)! I refer everyone to her, especially moms and babies. She always greets us warmly and never rushes. Im so grateful to have crossed her path!
