Dr.Van is the best! If you are terrified of dentists as much as I did ever since you were a child, you have found the right place. I cannot even describe the joyful feelings after I have found Dr. Van. Let me explain further. My childhood dentist was the worst dentist I’ve ever experienced. I used to really hate dentists and had a dental phobia! After feeling some pain in my tooth, one of my co-workers strongly recommended Dr. Van. At first, I was still hesitant, but the strong recommendations and pain drove me to make an appointment. I was extremely nervous but the staff was very friendly and always smiled, which helped me relax a little bit. Dr. Van recognized that I was very nervous right away and made his best efforts to make me feel at ease. He found the problem and fixed it in the same day. The procedures were nearly painless and I felt better right away. I have never felt this comfortable at any other offices before. Furthermore, I love how gentle he is compared to the other terrible dentists I had. I also love how the staff and Dr. Van took the time to get to know me and show how much they genuinely care about my health rather than just wanting my business. I also agree with the other reviewer that he is very honest and doesn’t offer unreasonable and BS treatment. Therefore, I recommended all my friends and family members to go here. I also made an appointment for my husband to get his teeth check here and he loves his experience too. I wish I had found Dr. Van earlier and I’m sure that everyone will feel the same way too.

Dr. Van and staff are some of the most personable, friendly people I know. I have mild, "white-coat" anxiety and they put me at ease with their happy attitude and humor. I have been going to Smile Maker Dental for two to three years now and it is always a pleasure to go. They have made me feel comfortable and "at home" since the start. I have never had a dentist or physician that checked in with me regularly during a cleaning or procedure. Dr. Van and staff are professional, reliable and have the most up to date knowledge when it comes to dental health and hygiene. One of the most valued characteristics of Dr. Van and staff is that of caring. They show caring and compassion that is sometimes lacking in the healthcare system. I have been to a few dentists before Dr. Van, but as long as I am in driving distance of Dr. Van he will be my dentist from here on out. The office and equipment appear to be of the latest fashion and technology. I highly recommend Smile Maker Dental to any that are seeking dental service! A++++

First thing I want to compliment them on is how clean the office is. The girls are amazing. Great customer service, they are so attentive. They treat everyone like royalty.They make me forget about my childhood experience of when I got stitches and I kicked the syringe out of the doctors hand :( I must admit I get a little scared bc I hate silver pointy things :/ but Dr. Van is an Angel, he is so nice, so gentle and completely relaxes me. And he always insist that I that I come back and see him if I am not completly satisfied with his work. Now thats a good Doctor (: And the best part is that I never have too. Hes truly the best!!! So professional and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend him. Id drive days just to see him and they girls. And I love the office decor, very modern.

Howard has been my dentist for the last 2 years. I found him after a long search for a reliable and trustworthy dental practitioner (not like those who pounce on you to fleece you). Have no complaints for him, only compliments. I have a lot of congenital and other dental issues that he is helping set straight and so far I have not seen a single proedure that was unreasonable, too expensive or outlandish. Does his research and tries to look for the best alternatives. Totally worth driving all the way from Irvine to see him!

After recommendations by several friends, I went to see him, and now he is my regular dentist. His office is state of the art, but the best asset is his personality and friendliness. He is very friendly and you feel at ease. Perfect example of having good bedside manners. He is also very knowledgable and explains all procedures. He will answer any question you have, regardless of how many times you ask him. If you want a good family dentist, I strongly recommend him.

Im terrified of going to the dentist Im not afraid to say that I sometime cry when Im in the dental chair. But Dr Howard is super patient and takes the time to calm me down and explain what hes doing and why. I never thought I would find a dentist in riverside that I can go to. If you are anything like me and terrified of the dentist go here... Tell him your fears he will help you work through it.

There should be an extra star for being so good. I was very impressed with Dr. Vans professionalism. He took the time to listen and was very thorough in explaining the treatment. He was also very gentle and his staff are very friendly. Going to the dentist is usually not one of my favorite thing to do but Smile Maker Dental has made the experience easy for me. Highly recommend this dentist.

This was my first visit to this place and let me tell you the first impresion :The BEST.my waiting time was less than 2 minutes,every one was so friendly,They almost make me belive I was at the dentist office. He really took the time to help me. And explain to me on detail everyting.Just want to thank his crew Marisol,Olivia,and Viviana they are best.and ofcourse. He is an amazing dentist!

Highly Recommend this Dentist!!! I have been going here for a while and they always have Fantastic Customer Service! Never have to wait long in the waiting room, very comfortable, friendly, convenient, and is the best Dentist I have had in 21 years. I had my crown replaced at Smile Dental and Dr. Van also did a filling for me. He explained every step of the process. The service is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the office is brand new with the latest dental equipments. Most importantly, Dr. Van is extremely knowledgeable. I will be coming back and referring my friends and family!

Great Dentist ! The best Ive ever had. I resisted going to a dentist for years, since finding Dr. Van I go regularly. My teeth and gums are healthier than ever.
