I went to this dental office when it was Brident Dental . I am a military and found the location through tricares network approved dental offices. Once st Brident I was treated very well and the dentist himself was very polite and helpful. I even got some additional treatment that was not approved by my dental insurance that I had to pay out of pocket that was around $300. I paid this in installments and I will admit I was late a couple times due to pure just being absent minded. While going to the store one day I noticed that there was no more Brident but it was now a Western dental, I immediately thought to myself Welp I wont be going there anymore. Once I paid all that was owed . I began to get phone calls and a letter from western dental . I let the phone calls go to voice mail and just assumed since they had obviously bought Brident out that they were trying to solicit patients. But once I got that letter I was truly disturbed . Western dental was claiming that I owed them over $800!!! I immediately called as asked what was going on? The individual I spoke with tried to act as if he had no idea and kept saying you are in our offices on such and such day. I put two and two together and realized he was speaking of my office visit with Brident . I explained that o drug owed them no money and I have no contract and have never been seen at western dental. He was like s robot so I hung up. I then went to the location and spoke with the billing manager of the office who fueled my disgust for this place even further. She tried to tell me that Brident had always been a western dental . I said in what way do they have the same tax if she stated no . So I stated then they are not the same company . I then asked how is it even remotely possible that I owe an $800 balance when Brident dental is a network provider and all was paid other than what I agreed to pay out of pocket her reply was western dental is not in the network . I said exactly which is why I would not get treated at one. I told her it was completely unethical for a company to come in and adjust the write offs that were agreed upon and established amongst the provider and insurance. Her reply was if you think its illegal you would have to speak with corporate. I had to get the insurance involved and still have not come to a resolution. Just a headache.

This visit was miserable from beginning to end. It was my first time going to this dentist. I was in the area a few hours early so I thought Id drop in and see if they could take me early and if not Id go to lunch and come back. I was informed that Id be seen on the hour, so I rushed to finish my paperwork and was ready to go on the hour. Only they didnt call me for another 45 minutes after that. I was then taken to the x-ray room, where the tech was nice enough but with their outdated equipment it took over 20 minutes to get pictures of my whole mouth. After that I was led back to the room where the dentist met me. I had no pain and was expecting a regular cleaning. Instead she spent a grand total of two minutes calling out the depth of my pockets and then shaming me for my mouth. She then stated I had six cavities and gum disease. Somehow diagnosing me in two minutes. Which was suspicious to me because I had none of these issues at my family dentist eight months earlier. When I said that I felt bad for all of that and that I wasnt sure how I could get six cavities when Im brushing properly, she got upset with me, telling me that she could prove it with pictures. She left the room and an assistant came back to take pictures of my mouth. She clicked through them to show me. More than half were of no concern, because they were already filled. Still it wasnt the assistants fault. So I waited, still expecting to get a general cleaning. Instead, the financial advisor came over and told me that I needed to schedule an appointment to get the six cavities filled and get special treatment. Oh, and itll be a $1000 with my insurance. And when I said that sounded like a lot, she said that I needed to hurry and get it done to stop the deterioration. No general cleaning. Scare tactics and shaming to get my money. This was my first visit and my last. Id pay out of pocket than EVER go here again.

I would actually give it NO STARS but unfortunately that it is not an option. We made the biggest mistake switching to this office. The day before an appointment that my husband had scheduled a girl in the office called to verify his insurance information. I provided her will all the information and was told that if there was any issues she would get back with me. The next day, the day of his appointment I received a phone call stating he was actually insured at another Western Dental Location. I explained that, that was incorrect and I had even called to verify the insurance company who again told me NO he can be seen at WESTERN DENTAL , on Chicago in Riverside. BETTER YET ... WHY WAS I BEING NOTIFIED 20 MIN PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT!!! The girl could only explain to me that this was there procedure and they actually send things to there corporate office to run. ?!?!?!?! All kinds of confusing. With as many times as I was on the phone with them (Western Dental) and my Insurance Co. this should have went so smooth. I could not believe how they conducted there business . I would NEVER call a customer/client 20 min. prior to there appointment. Needless to say, I got on the phone with the Insurance Co. (Again) who AGAIN told me No, I could go to Western Dental on Chicago and they could fax them paperwork directly. At this point I told the women the entire story and how I would never step foot in there she agreed with me and told me she receives the most complaints from people with this location. She was able to get another dental office on the phone who took my husband in right away. Mysteriously this other place had no problem verifying the insurance and it was literally same day. Now Im sitting in the waiting room of a much more polite, ethical, and caring dental practice. But I will NEVER speak a good word about the way Western Dental practices.

Worst experience at a dentist office ever! Each time Ive went, Ive had to wait up to two hours AFTER my scheduled appointment time to be seen. My initial visit I was told a Doctor wasnt on hand to do my extraction and after stating how much pain I was in, the doctor that was in did the extraction. During the extraction a piece of my tooth broke off which caused the doctors instrument to hit and scratch the roof of my mouth. After the extraction I was asked by the assistant how I was feeling and I told her about the doctor scratching the roof of my mouth, she simply said "I dont know about that" while looking away and walking out. When I told the doctor, he just said "oh we got all the stray pieces of tooth". Was rescheduled 3 times to see the Oral Surgeon, was sent to another location in Chino Hills where I was told I would have to wait 3 hours AFTER my scheduled appointment to be seen.
