One cant go wrong at For Your Eyes Only. After returning to SF after a 15-year adventure I was delighted to discover Dr. Kennedy was still practicing...in the exact same location! (and hasnt aged a day no less). Spacious remodeled digs, even friendlier staff (if thats possible), efficient operation, and PLENTY of frames to try on and agonize over - and Lita (along with a fellow patient) was awesome in helping me make the selection...I can NEVER decide by myself. Visit them...you wont regret it.

This place got my business because it was the only Optometrist on Castro that did online appointments. So, just that was great. But, the actual visit was excellent. Dr. Kennedy was very kind, and Tim Tao helped me choose awesome frames for both glasses and sunglasses. I am really happy that I went to them, and already got my husband an appointment, as he needs to get his eyes taken care of, too.

Awesome eye doctors and great staff to help in picking new stylish frames.My original appointment was on a bright day and the doctor suggested I do the dilation part of the exam on another day with less sun or an evening appointment which I thought was really considerate.No more dreaded eye puff either.Exam was quick painless and with lots of helpful information explained in lay terms.

As all of the other posts say the eye doctor is super nice and very personable.We called on a Saturday to try and get a day of appointment for two people and they fit us right in. The optometrist was efficient and the office staff was super nice.They werent forceful about pushing their own glasses and contacts.Will definitely use them again to get the eyes checked out.

I have tried several optometrists in San Francisco and will be sticking with For Your Eyes Only because the lenses and the fitting of my glasses is always perfect. I can see much, much better with the prescriptions written by Dr. Kennedy, the lenses cut by her fabricators and the fitting of my glasses by her very capable staff. I highly recommend For Your Eyes Only.

Highly recommended for good advice, friendly service and no hard sell of lenses, frames etc. Tonya Watson is extremely knowledgeable and very approachable and will take time to talk you through any questions you have. And, if you play your cards right, you might even get to see the giant plastic eyeball and be given a tour of the inner workings of your eye!

Saw Dr. Watson for the first time last week and had an excellent experience! For Your Eyes Only is open later in the evening, which is much more convenient for my schedule. Dr. Watson walked me through all of the tests and was very thorough in her examination. I also loved being able to schedule my appointment online. Looks like I found my new eye doctor!

Great place. Very profession and complete examination. Dr. Kennedy was able to see something that no other eye Dr. in the pass could (retinal vein occlusion). She wrote a referral and its now being treated and my vision is stable now.
