I only went to this office because I got a free "wellness check" for donating at Petco but based on the few reviews here I had high hopes. The receptionist: Wonderful, she was very polite and quite honestly fun to chat with. If this review as just on her it would be 5 stars. The Chiropractor: 1st visit: He has you watch a video instead of doing the initial talking.....seriously. A video.... that tells you hes here to listen to you and treat you like doctors used to when they actually knew their patients. But this is in a video....... I get taken in to one of the exam rooms and wait. He eventually comes into the room gives me a long spiel of how nothing should hurt and how I dont know anything about him and such. Ok....... He does his initial exam and leaves and the receptionist comes back in to take me to the x-ray room. Wait, wait, wait.... get x-rays taken. After the x-rays he makes this big deal about bringing some one with me to the consultation. I STILL dont understand why he made such a big issue of this. 2nd visit: I decided to bring a close friend with me. We were going out to dinner after so why not. Besides Dr. Jones made such a big thing about me bringing some one with me. Well guess what.... now its a big issue that I DID bring some one with me. He pulls me into a room and tells me that this isnt "show and tell". OK WTF? Eventually we go to the consultation room and watch guess what....... another video. I really wish hed just do away with the videos. Then he comes in and starts interrogating my friend about her thoughts on Chiropractic Medicine. Even compares the acceptance of body work to racism. Ooooooook. Eventually we go over my x-rays. I need work. I still do. Not going to get it from him as he doesnt take Kaiser and has such a freaking chip on his shoulder. Zero Stars for Dr. Jones The Massage: Part of the wellness check was a free 30min massage. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to an hour for $20. I realize it wont be a full hour but it started late and I only ended up with 45 min. But thats not the worst. I asked for her to focus on my back, neck and shoulders only. The back was mostly efflurage and the only times she started to go deeper was on bone. When she started working on my arms she just started digging and it was flippin painful! I have tendonitis in both foreams and forgot to notify them. I was terrified that she was going to start doing that crazy digging over the affected areas (yes I know them not knowing is my fault). Finally she went to the neck. First by deep stripping over very tight areas, no warm up. Then more efflurage. Her hand wrapped around my throat several times. There goes relaxation. If she had continued on I would have stopped the massage. So no I would not recommend this place to anyone.......

Hola soy Mario Castillo Quira hablar sobre mi testimono con el doctor Jones. Cuando enpese con el doctor enpese con una platica de como estaba mi espalda y de todo el dolor q sentia. Para acerla breve la primera ves me puso en la mesa de descompresion al siguente dia estuvo al pendiente todo el dia y empese acentir cambios desde las 2 primaera semana y poco a poco mas cabios en mi favor. Siento q es un buen doctor y se los recomiendo. Hello I am Mario Castillo I want to talk about my Testimonial with Dr. Jones . When i started with the doctor we talked about how my back was and all the pain i felt. To make this breif the first time he put me at the Decompression table the day after he was on the lookout all day and i started to feel changes from the first 2 weeks and gradually more and more change in my favor. I feel that he is a good doctor and I would recommend him.

Finally some relief! I have been suffering from shoulder and neck pain for a few months, and its gotten to the point where my left arm and fingers went numb. Before I met Dr.Jones Ive gone to see another chiropractor back in December and before that I had gotten massages several times to get the kink out of my back, but it always made its way back. I met Dr. Jones at the Newark farmers market, I was hesitant to stop by his booth so I kept on walking. My second time around the market he noticed me looking and invited me over to chat, so I obliged. We went over the root cause of my pain, dug deep and really made me think about what could have caused all this numbness and pain. I appreciate his business etiquette and his desire to help those in need. Being a student, a server, and not feeling 100% myself hes encouraged me to focus on my health and my future. Im very thankful that weve meet, and that he took the time to make me feel that this is the right treatment plan for me. Currently, Ive been a patient with Dr. Jones for about a month now, and I must say that Ive got feeling in my hands and confident that the pain in my neck and shoulders will soon disappear and be nothing but a distant memory to me.

I have scoliosis (abnormal curvature of the spine) and suffered from headaches on a daily basis. Dr. Jones and ri City Disc and Nerve Center (formerly Jones Family Chiropractic) was recommended to me by a family member. Dr. Jones did an exam and took my x-rays. He thoroughly explained my x-rays and I could see for myself that my spine and neck were not how they should be. Not long after undergoing treatment, I found that I no longer had headaches, a problem that I had not realized was related to my spine. That alone is reason enough for me to give Dr. Jones two thumbs up! Additionally, I am more comfortable standing and sitting for long periods of time. I sleep better, have better posture, and feel great. My favorite benefit might be that Dr. Jones encourages health and wellness outside of chiropractic adjustments. I am more fit than ever, eat healthier, and have more energy thanks to Dr. Jones and his encouragement/advice on my physical fitness. I also appreciate the fact that his staff is so super friendly. It is always nice to be greeted with a smile from a person that is genuinely happy to see you. Because of them, I look forward to my visits.

Dr. Jones and his staff are amazing to work with. His staff is very efficient and friendly. They all make you feel a part of the family. Im a chronic pain patient after undergoing two cervical spine surgeries and now have low back issues. Dr. Jones has a lot of knowledge and tools that have helped me manage my pain and helped my back tremendously. He treats the body as a whole vs how my medical docs only look at me in parts and pieces. Ive been using chiropractic care since the age of 12 and its always been effective. Dr. Jones however stands out as one of the best! Im very thankful for his care and treatments.

when I first came to Dr.Jones I needed a shopping cart to walk around a store. Since treatment has progressed, the pain has been reduced and my mobility has increased tremendously. The care given by Dr. Jones, Megan, and his staff is wonderful.
