My beloved Simba had a freak accident in our new home 1 1/2 months ago. His lower jaw was badly broken and we brought him to Pieper/Olsen emergency. They were fantastic, but they needed the Master to put our baby back together. I brought him to Dr. Barrat and this guy is absolutely amazing. He put our babys jaw back together with his magical surgery. He is the GO TO GUY FOR EVERY VET IN THIS AREA. HE IS A ROCK STAR!!! We are so lucky that we found him. He is our choice hands down to take care of our 2 cats and 2 dogs. Corrie went way above and beyond her duty with coming in on her day off to show me how to feed Simba through his feeding tube. The staff is extremely warm and kind and their facility is spotless and state of the art. We are so lucky to have found them! Many thanks to Salem Vet Clinic for the fantastic service!!!

Our beloved dog, Toby received the utmost compassionate and professional treatment from Drs. Slater and Baratt during the 12 years that he was loved by our family. All of the staff (and a very special acknowledgement to Kendra) that we had the pleasure of interacting with were wonderfully caring and knowledgeable. They truly understood and appreciated how special our pet was to our family. We were consistently impressed with the superlative care during his life and would recommend Salem Valley to any one with a four-legged family member. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Slater at Salem Valley Vet. When she discovered that my dogs chronic cough was caused by a growing tumor in her lungs, she was very sensitive in communicating with me and managed my expectations. She was non-judgemental when I decided not to do the surgery on my dog, and worked with me to establish a monitoring and pain management plan. She always returned my calls with answers to my questions, occasionally calling me from home after the workday to ensure my questions were answered. The staff at Salem Valley is wonderful. They always followed up and/or relayed messages as needed. I felt they knew my dog and cared about her well-being.

I live in Salem and have 3 dogs of my own, 2 cats & provide foster care for dogs that are rescued from a high kill shelter in Oklahoma. I would not trust their care to anyone but Salem Valley Veterniary Clinic. From the minute you walk in the door, you are greeted by the most friendliest receptionists who make you feel like you are their only client. They make my animals feel relaxed and very welcome. Dr. Slater is so caring, knowledgeable and gives me & my animals all the time we need to have our questions answered and gives a thorough exam. I have referred this office to everyone I know in hopes that they too will experience this wonderful office.

I recently had to get my two silky terriers to the vet due to extreme itching. I call Salem Valley on Monday morning (I was not a client of theirs) and asked for an appointment. They got me in within 1/2 hour!! The staff were sweet and attentive and the vet was knowledgeable and very kind to the dogs. The pricing was very reasonable. Not only did they take care of the itching, but the vet found a previously undiagnosed heart murmur in my older dog. I will be using Salem valley as my vet from now on.

on referral, Dr Baratt saw my dog for dental x-rays / possible abscess or broken tooth…when I called to schedule, they recognized the urgency and got us right in. I was kept informed when another emergency came up (but ended up not impacting our appointment.) The problem ended up not being dental, and we were given another, more accurate diagnosis. Too bad for us this clinic is over an hour away, I would love to bring my girl here! Awesome staff - great logo, too :)

Salem Valley is my choice for our pets care. There are several reasons why, but the main reason is the special care they give to myself, and my pets. The desk staff, the technicians, and the doctors are fantastic. From answering questions, and concerns, to providing medicine, and nutritional information, there is nothing they cant help me with. The clinic is clean, neat, and very organized. If you are looking for a new vet...this is the place for you.

Salem Valley Veterinary Clinic takes their job to a new level. They dont just see my dog as a dog but a member of my family. I have always been treated with the utmost respect while there. I feel that they are competitively priced and offer all medications needed through their wed site and always offer the lowest price. They know me by first name and my dog too and make the vet experience as low anxiety as possible.

I absolutely love Salem Valley Veterinary Clinic. I am very particular about whose hands I leave my animals in, but they make my pets feel comfortable and secure. The whole staff has an obvious love for animals, and it reflects in their service and kindness. I recommend Salem Vet to all of my coworkers and friends, I just really feel confident in the care that my animals receive from them.

Dr. Anderson did a pre purchase exam that was way above and beyond. He cares for the animals and the people. I hope to have these guys around for years to come!

From being right on the money with diagnosing problems, to the compassion they have shown when Ive had dogs die. I dont think you will find better service. I usually use Dr. Slater, and she is exceptional. Both as a professional and humanitarian. The staff are all very helpful, and caring. Great place...even if your dog doesnt think so.

Just left and we couldnt be happier! We just switched to Salem from another vet in the area. Our dog is a rescue and has some issues from what we think was abuse from the previous owners. All of my experiences with Salem Valley Vet have been excellent. The staff has been very helpful getting our pets seen in emergency situations. Dr Erin and Dr Slater saved my Schnauzers life, and Dr Barrett did wonderful dentistry on two of my dogs. I would recommend Salem Valley to anyone.
