If I could Quest Diagnostics a zero I would! Went in for blood test & glucose test for my higher risk pregnancy. 1st waited awhile to get checked in; while signing in they couldnt find my lab requests in the system. Had to drive to my midwife to get them printed out instead. Came back, had to be rechecked in, & given the glucose drink. All I was told was I had to drink it in front of her. Then told shed call me at 10:05am to draw blood. I was never told I had to stay in the waiting room. They saw me leaving & DIDNT say anything. I ran a 30 minute errand down the road. Came back & told flat out I couldnt do the test since I left. She THEN explained how the procedure for the test worked. (Would be nice if they explain how the test works up front, most places explain it so you understand & so theres no confusion.) Was then lied to by the women saying my doctor canceled the test so to call them & work it out. My mother had to call because at that point I was having an anxiety attack & contractions due to the major stress of my doctor just "canceling" all the tests on me knowing I have major anxiety from this pregnancy & having to have tests done. Were guessing she lied due to my mom was pissed off that no one explained anything to me in the 1st place, 2ndly I hadnt eaten yet due to I had to drive around getting paperwork for them that they couldnt bother looking up. After she argued with the women, & the doctor saying I could do the test it was to late for me. Again was in a full blown anxiety attack with low blood sugar & contractions. Well I ended up being driven then wheeled into my midwife place from the parking lot. Then monitored until my contractions lessened. Im 26 weeks+ 4 days & higher risk. Thank god they calmed my breathing & my daughter wasnt effected to much. Really great at training your staff on being friendly, explaining up front on how tests work, not to lie & owning up to mistakes made since part of this was their fault. Next time I will ask if I can leave, lesson learned on my part. Military medicine is rated one of the worst for medicine & labs. (moved away base medical to civilian medical). However, even they stop and take time to explain procedures to their clients/ patients. Gave me a better appreciation for them. So thank you for that. Needless to say I will be going else where from here on out. My family will never use Quest again. Yes she didnt mean to but she put my daughters life/ health at risk for the way she handle things. You cant expect patients to know how things work, we dont. Its your job to educate us.

This place is a crapshoot, except when you lose -- you lose BIG TIME. I used to have to go monthly, and during that time had a couple very nice technicians who clearly knew what they were doing, but after my most recent experience I will never go back. The woman took 18 vials of blood when she only needed 4 or 5 (I checked with my doctor -- I was being tested for 18 conditions but they only needed a few vials to do this.) Then, after I vomited all over the wall and nearly fainted, the woman LEFT THE ROOM which is exactly what you are NOT supposed to do, per the list of procedures that is posted everywhere in the office. So there I was -- slumped over in the chair, sweating, pale as a ghost and shaking. Thankfully another staff member noticed and asked if I was okay, but my technician? Nowhere to be found. DO NOT GO HERE if you have a fear of blood draws, as I do. Yes, I realize I need to buck up but that doesnt mean staff shouldnt try to be accommodating and vigilant.

It is impossible to talk to a PERSON at Quest. God help you if you have a question. It is impossible to get the telephone or fax number of any Collection laboratory. All calls are handled through the corporate menu. If your question or message has anything to do with anything outside the menu, you are out of luck. If they did a test for example and missplled your name, you can t talk to anyone about it to straighten it out. If you have a question about fasting, etc forget it It is impossible to deal with them on the telephone. If possible deal with another test lab

Had the absolute WORST experience. My testing was suppose to be a breath test. Blow into a bag, drink a liquid, wait 15 min, blow into another bag. Well, MaryAlice was in such a rush because she wanted to go home early that she only waited maybe 5 minutes after I drank the liquid (if that) to make me blow into the second bag. Ive had this test done before and know exactly how it goes and it was not done properly this time. I previously had it done at another location. If I receive incorrect results due to the lack of professionalism, I will be contacting the manager.

I showed up at 12:40 and the doors were locked. There was a sign on the door that said they closed at 1. I am frustrated that I took the time to drive there only to find out I was unable to have my blood work done. The worst part was that I heard people still in the office.

They lock their doors at least 10 mins before actual closing time. Ill never go back to a quest again. So many problems with them. And so many options besides quest... I will always recommend that people go somewhere else!

I called the phone number on the website and the office times were not working, so walked in at 4:58 and the staff was wonderful. I would like to thank the three ladies for their professionalism.

Was able to get in and out within 15 min. The woman that took my 8 tubes of blood was great didnt hurt at all and the next morning and the inside of my elbow is just a little black and blue.

You people need to have a system in place that allows patients to speak to someone; if possible, I am going to find another provider. What this says to me is Quest doesnt really care!!!
