AY

Ayfer T. Bidhendi

Im 36 years old; Ive been to doctors in the U.S., in Germany and in Turkey; never in my life have I been treated so horribly. My very first visit was for my annual exam where I dealt with Dr. Sved and Dr. Bayani who were polite & attentive. During my follow up visit I "ran into" (or I should say "was run over by") the PA who goes by "Dr. Haleh" and the front desk staff who backed her up in "the "fight" I never knew we had. Let me explain: I pulled into the parking lot, pulled INTO A SPOT and shifted into park. Behind me was a tow-truck blocking the traffic lane. Just as I shifted into park a white Mercedes pulled up behind me and honked as though I was purposely blocking her. Were not talking about a "honk Im here" type honk, but rather "HOOOOOOOONK get the hell out of my way" style honk. It was a beautiful morning and this being a Dr.s office I thought this person could be rushing to an emergency, so I quickly moved out of the cars way, and parked in a different spot. Although I was surprised by how aggressively they had honked, and despite the fact that I was IN A PARKING SPOT I was not upset by this. As I was getting out of the car I saw the person (a female staff member) getting out of her car, and walking into the office. No words were exchanged, not even "a dirty look" and I was actually happy to see that maybe my guess about "maybe its a Dr. rushing for an emergency" theoretically could be true. I walked in on time, checked in, sat and waited for my blood work appointment. After about 10-15 min. I asked the front girl if she knew about how much longer it would be. She said the phlebotomist was stuck in traffic, and was running late. I waited another 6-7 minutes, and since I was taking time away from my work, I thought I should get a little more detailed info. Clearly if she knew the phlebotomist was "stuck in traffic" this meant she was in contact, so I asked (very politely) if she knew about how long it would take her to get here? In the most rude and annoyed tone possible, she repeated "SHES IN TRAFFIC" so I got a little annoyed and said, Yes... this is Atlanta, traffic is very normal; is she stuck 5-10 min away, or 20-30 min away?! I simply wanted information to decide if I should be patient and wait, or if I should maybe reschedule. The next thing that came out of this womans mouth TRULY SHOCKED ME! She said: Well you already GOT INTO A FIGHT with THE DOCTOR IN THE PARKING LOT!!! A fight?! I politely move out of the way for someone who rudely and aggressive honked at me when I was in a designated parking spot, and now Im waiting on your staff whos late to work, and IM BEING CONDESCENDINGLY lectured, by a receptionist about my manners??? Clearly this girl did not see this incident, so this means the lady who I moved for must have come in and described my act of kindness "as a fight". How people see the world, usually tells you a lot about that person. Right then "Dr. Haleh" who I later learned is a PA (Physicians Assistant) AND SHOULD NOT BE USING THE TITLE OF DOCTOR IN A PROFESSIONAL SETTING, walked in and looked at me with that "Oh this B*&%$" look. I looked at her and directly asked her "did you tell her we got INTO A FIGHT?!" She said something dismissive, and then "THE DOCTOR" with the most condescending & arrogant tone possible said "I have patients so see..." and walked out. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER.... have I been treated like this at even a fast food restaurant, much less a professional medical office. I asked the front desk girl for her managers info, and eventually got a call form the office (Oh... I left and have no intention of going back there) who was polite and apologetic. I was glad, but shes not the one who had done anything wrong, or needed to apologize. Oh.. Id never expect someone like PA Haleh to call and apologize (I"m not stupid) but perhaps a call or note from the owner/her boss would have been good. DONT GO to this clinic.

Highly recommend this place, Dr.Bayani & his staff are very kind and friendly. Been to several chiropractors and its nothing compared to this one here they actually help you out on whats bothering you and not just lay you into therapy beds. Its always wonderful visiting here.
