My best buddy was 9 years old when his blood work revealed that he was in stage II renal disease. Nobody ever notified me. 6 months after that blood work, I brought him back in for symptoms of renal disease and they still never told me. They started giving us possibly diagnoses for his symptoms, but never looked at his record. He died 5 months later of a splenic mass and I cant help but wonder if the spleen was degraded due to abnormal kidney function. The night he died, I called an hour before they closed and expressed my concerns about him having an emergency. They referred me to Southern Creacent Emergency, where he was euthanized 1 hour later. This was December 18, 2015. We just brought home a puppy that was spayed at the animal shelter. Two days after bringing her home, I called Family Friends to express concerns about possible parvo. They told me to wait until morning and bring her by the shelter for testing, because they couldnt work us into the schedule. My gut told me I had to get her seen immediately. They recommended Southern Crescent emergency, but considering I just lost my 10.5 year old there 8 weeks ago, I wanted to avoid that place. As a last ditch effort, I called the highly recommended Animal Medical Clinic off of 74 and they said that with my pup being so young, they felt it was very important she get seen immediately and they stayed open late for us, even though we hadnt ever been there before. She tested positive for parvo and theyve been treating her so well! Had we waited until the morning, her condition could have become dangerously critical. She was in the beginning of a respiratory infection and needed to be rehydrated. She is also very underweight from the shelter and needed close monitoring. Between the kidney disease, the refusal to see my last boy and then his death, folllwed by this whole experience, we will never return to Family Friends. I want a vet that will take the time to ensure my babies are okay, even if it means leaving 15 minutes late during an emergency. The animal medical clinic came highly recommended to me by a neighbor who had also had a simar experience that I had with Family Friends. Two of her dogs had been in renal disease for two years and she was never notified. A little more care would go a very long way.

My husband and I have used Family Friend since it first opened and would not think of taking our dogs anywhere else! The service is exceptional whether you are boarding, grooming, or seeing the vet. Dr Matt is awesome! The entire staff is knowledgeable and you can tell they truly love animals. They know our dogs by name and treat them very well. Dr Matt even let me drop off one of my dogs on my way to work and kept her there all day for observation because I was worried she was sick and didnt want to leave her alone. They will also price match. I had previously tried other facilities in PTC, Newnan, and Atl and have never had the service and comfort provided by Family Fiend. Do yourself and your babies a favor and use them!

Dr. Davis saved my cat late on a Sunday night. After calling him, it took all of 5 minutes to get my cat in & get to surgery. By far the best vet I have ever encountered. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I get Rx food there at a good price. They are very thorough and want the best for you and your pets. I adopted a second kitten from NCHS 2 months ago and Dr. Davis had already seen him twice to neuter & treat for respiratory issues. The new kitten continued treatment at Family Friend, and is very healthy & happy. I just got a call from them this morning with test results from last night as a matter of fact. Im sure there are other great vets, but Family Friend is the best Ive met.

Family Friend started out as a wonderful place for me to board my dog. That was until my last visit. I was waiting in line behind other customers, when Victoria Mann (Student Groomer) came in and asked if she could help me, I said I was waiting to speak with the receptionist, then she raised her voice and said "NO, OUT". She was very rude, and I could not believe that I was being talked to that way. And it was all because she didnt like coming in on Sundays to feed and walk the boarded animals. After seeing there kind of "Customer Service" my dogs will NEVER be taking a visit to Family Friend Animal Hospital again!

I was looking for a new vet, and I am very happy that I found Dr. Davis. I was delighted when Dr. Berta joined the practice. Family Friend goes above and beyond the call of duty to care for my pets. Earlier this year, I had to make the difficult decision to put my 15 year old dog out of its misery. Dr. Berta and the staff helped me make a very difficult decision and stood by me through the entire process, even reaching out to me afterwards to see how I was handling life without my buddy. I am happy to report that I have adopted a new dog and wouldnt think of taking her anywhere else.

This is the best vet clinic we have ever visited. It is nice, clean, and the most friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It is a family run business, with Dr. Matts wife and brother there each day running the business side of things. It is obvious that Dr. Matt truly cares about his patients, and he is such a knowledgeable and capable veterinarian. Dr. Matts staff is so caring and they too are very knowledgeable in the care of animals. The quality of care our dogs receive at this clinic is top notch and we would recommend this clinic to anyone!

We moved here about 2 years ago and brought our dog with us. We started out in ptc and the vet there was so expensive. We bought a house in Newnan and FF is right around the corner. They are very friendly, their prices are reasonable, and they are always friendly when we come in. We now have two dogs we use their boarding kennels often. We recently had to board them without notice, and they had no problem fitting us in. I would recommend them to anyone. They have gained our trust and our dogs love it there.

Dr. Christy and the staff at Family Friend are AMAZING!! I adopted a sweet 6 week old pit puppy from Animal Control only to find out the next day that he had Parvo. They were wonderful about my 50 million questions and were always so helpful! He is a "bouncing baby boy" now thanks to all the hard work of Dr. Christy and the staff at Family Friend! Thank you all so much for saving my sweet baby boy!

Dr. Berta takes care of all of my dogs and helped my Pyr/Retriever mix back to full recovery after being hit by a car. The staff is very friendly and this office is well-run. Have boarded there several times and all good with that also. I would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a vet or boarding.

Took my 4 month old kitten here and everyone was so nice! We loved the veternarian as he was very informative and personable! Made us feel comfortable and answered all the questions we had for our first kitten! Highly recommend!
