Dr. Michael and Sugarloaf Pain & Rehab have done what no other doctor was able to do for my heel! For a year I suffered from chronic pain in my right heel which I was told was plantar fasciitis. I went to a podiatrist, an orthopedic doctor, and a physical therapist – but it kept getting worse. I spent hundreds of dollars on orthotic inserts, special tennis shoes, and cortizone shots. Still no better. I followed the directions of each dr - stretch, stretch , stretch and stretch some more but I didnt get any relief or any better. My condition got so bad I dreaded walking from my car to my office. I was told by my cousin that his condition - plantar fasciitis - had been healed by a chiropractor. I began researching this and found information on chiropractors that are certified in ART – active release technique and Grayston technique, which I had never heard of - but testimonies on the internet said that it worked for them. Willing to try anything at this point I found Sugarloaf Pain & Rehab and booked an appointment. Dr. Michael began treating me and after the first one or two appointments told me that I had not only plantar fasciitis but also tendinosis in my heel. Each session with Dr. Michael took about 45 minutes – he performed ART and other techniques targeting scar tissue, along with laser therapy. After about 10 treatments the pain was about 50% less than when I began treatment. After approximately two months of treatment two times a week (sometimes only once a week), I am about 99% pain-free! I am so happy that my condition has gotten better and have the utmost confidence in Dr. Michael and Sugarloaf Pain & Rehab!

I found this place while searching on Yelp for a chiropractor. They had the best reviews and were very close to my job, so they won the rat race based off that alone (initially). I called to schedule an appointment. I spoke with two very nice, professional women (Christina and Sarah). They both made me feel very welcome and confident about my decision to contact them. They were able to schedule me for a same day appointment which was fantastic. The information given over the phone was very detailed. They even provided a text with directions to make sure I would not get lost since Google Maps was inaccurate. I arrived at my appointment ahead of time as asked. I was impressed by the plaza that the office was in. Cosmetically, it was extremely eye catching. The doctor was running a little behind schedule but I didnt mind. Why didnt I mind, because I was INFORMED that he would be late. Informing people as to what is going on is KEY to providing great customer service!! The doctor walked me through everything he was going to do. I was pleased with the service and I see why their reviews are so great!!! The massage therapist and physical therapist were wonderful. They added to my experience as well. I recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing treatment: My work requires that I had to be sittings for hours a week, and I forget to stand up and walk; I had an injury for sitting too long and not exercising enough that I was putting off enough time to make me very uncomfortable with myself and was interfering in my work and my life in general. I came to this place with hope and I got more than that, my health back.Dr Son is so thorough and so detailed on everything I have and the treatment given. He listened to me and put together with exams, the treatment for me to get well, I am in my second session and I love it, I feel better already. And I agree with everyone else, the ambiance is so nice and the staff so friendly. the time Dr Mchael dedicates for you to get well. So now I am comfortable and happy again, because I know where to go, if things go wrong again. But I will continue my treatment to get back to be myself.

I am in my late sixties and suffered a military truck accident in 1970. My back and legs got so bad, despite acupuncture, pain medications, yoga, exercise, other chiropractors that I considered early retirement because I could not walk. When I stood up my knees sounded like two rifle shots. Ten years ago I came to be treated by Dr.s Hwang and Son, and since then I have been able to live a normal life. Their spectrum of unique treatments have been very effective, and their efficient, well-trained, pleasant staff make it a pleasure to come to the office. Diane does great massage therapy, and Dr.Nam well attends to my knees and ankles. In addition I have started a healthy diet and supplements as advised by Dr. Son. They have really added value to my life. I look forward to my visits and heartily recommend their services. They do care about their patients and the fees are very reasonable.

Oh.. I can write a long review. Doctors, masseur, and other support staff are very knowledgeable, smart, courteous and friendly. They go to that extra mile to alleviate your discomfort and make you feel comfortable. The medical discussions are very open and they make you understand the organic nature of your symptoms. You are made to realize that the recovery and relieve requires both patient and Dr joint effort. Masseur is very knowledgeable person. Their front office is very courteous and receive you with smile. One of those few Drs office who still do not look in to your wallet as soon as you step in to their office. I have been travelling almost 20 miles one way to their office for the past 5-6 years as I dont want to take a chance. I would certainly recommend for long term wellness.

Im not sure if there are even words to describe my experience with Sugarloaf Pain & Rehab. Not only did they rehabilitate me after my car accident, but also made a huge impact on my life period. I remember how going to my appointments was the brightest and highlight of my day... not just because I was in the hands of in my opinion the very best chiropractic team in the state of Georgia, but because of how everyone made me feel. They made it seem like I was their only patient! Their top notch professionalism coupled with their genuine care and friendship was healing all by itself. They are also amazing teachers. At Sugarloaf Pain and Rehab they actually explain how and why chiropractic treatment will help you. Hands down one of the best experiences I have had. God bless the entire team!!

I have been suffering from back pain for more than ten years. I tried 50+ physical therapy sessions, hundreds of acupunctures, multiple sports massage therapists, and even a few chiropractic practices. When I was about to give up on my wellness, a friend recommended that I consult with Dr. Son in 2010. Since then, I have been seeing Dr. Son for four years. I recommend her for one reason- that is, her expertise in back and neck treatments. I strongly suggest that anyone with back or/and neck pains to consult and try treatments with Dr. Son for 4-5 sessions. I felt immediately better after my third session! Even though my insurance did not cover chiropractic treatments, I believe that my time with Dr. Son will remain as the most invaluable investment for my health. Thank you Dr. Son!

The doctors and staff at Sugarloaf Pain & Rehab are excellent. I recommend each doctor whether it is back and shoulder pain from long hours in front of the computer (which I now have) or from injury (which I had and they treated). I have been a patient of each doctor due to their speciality and each one has been professional and caring as well as remedying the painful situation. They have also treated a close family member and again, the results were excellent. For years I have read the reviews of businesses before using them and this is only the 2nd time I have taken the time to post a review. I Highly recommend them and you wont be disappointed.
