Back in September of 2015, I had fallen on my right knee. I never knew that a simple fall could cause so much pain & discomfort! I began to have numbness, tingling, intense heat & pain starting from knee that radiated to my lower back and down through the sole of my right foot! After x-rays and MRIs of my lumbar spine & knee, I was told that I had no broken bones, but had about 30ccs of fluid in my knee and "severe bruising" of my muscle. I am an RN and former massage therapist, but had never heard of "bruising of the muscle" before! My physician started my therapy with prescriptions of Naprosyn & Flexeril (muscle relaxant which I had to discontinue because it would knock me out for hours), R.I.C.E. for the swelling & bruising, and advised me to use a knee stabilizer. In the meantime, a friend recommended that I see her chiropractor. After a consultation & x-rays with the chiropractor, he recommended treatment for 3 times/week. I saw him for about 1 month before I decided to leave. Every visit was pretty much the same. I performed self-stretching, was put on a rolling machine, & was adjusted. I was never re-evaluated and even worse the treatment was painful and seemed "cookie cutter." I was still not able to work due to the continuing symptoms of pain, numbness, tingling & immense heat, so my physician referred me to see a neurologist. After a few very painful nerve tests & evaluation of my records thus far, the neurologist Diagnosed me with Paresthesia, referred me to physical therapy, & prescribed Lyrica! He said that there was some evidence of damage, but not enough to reflect the amount of discomfort & pain I was having. I was told that my only option was to hope that physical therapy helped & take medications until the symptoms were gone! I was not willing to accept that! I ended up talking to another friend about my fall & experience when she recommended "Atlas Orthogonal." I began to research it on google & saw a video of it being featured on a popular morning medical show. I searched for the nearest center which resulted C1 SPINE LAB! I called right then & asked for the next available appointment! I started my therapy in the end of November & am happy to share that I was able to go back to work by the end of December with no need of medications! I was a bit skeptical about this method, but quickly became a believer! I could feel the affects immediately after each adjustment! Some days I felt great & others tired with discomfort, but from my background knowledge & experience, I knew that I was experiencing effective progress. Dr. Park is so different from traditional chiropractors! His consultation was thorough & at every single visit he pulls up my x-rays & chart, reviews them, re-evaluates me, & then makes a determination on my treatment for that day! As a nurse who sees the frustrations of similar experiences with doctors & as a former massage therapist/bodyworker, I can truly appreciate this approach! This is the kind of approach all patients deserve!

Hello, I would like to share my experience with Atlas. I’m 57 years old. As I got older I began to notice several physical difficulties: difficulty sleeping on my side, numbness in my fingers and thumbs, constant upper and lower back pains, and general tightness in the shoulders. I tried massages and chiropractors and felt better after their sessions but not long after, the discomfort and pain would come back. Massages and chiropractors didn’t help in the long run. In addition to this, about 10 years ago I noticed the formation of a long, tight muscle between my jaw line and collarbone. Over time it became very noticeable and tight when I turned my neck. Massages didn’t help and doctors couldn’t understand the problem. Through my research I stumbled upon an article about Atlas correction, and that about 99% of people have this sixths spine misaligned, twisted and bent out of its original location. Turns out, the correct position of Atlas is responsible for correct posture, the harmony of the left and right sides of the body, and elimination of body aches in many places of the body. In my search for a doctor I found Dr. Park and am very happy that I was able to come in for a consultation. Dr. Park is an expert on the Atlas correction. Additionally he does X-Rays, right there in the office if he feels it’s the right thing to do for the diagnosis. My first set of X-Ray’s was in March, 2016. It showed that: my Atlas is unbalanced, my head always tilts slightly forward and to the left, my left leg is shorter than right, right shoulder is higher than left, and the neck portion of my spine is incorrectly bent. All these symptoms are the results of incorrect position of Atlas in my body. After 12 sessions (4 months after my first visit), Dr. Park made a second set of X-Rays for me. They showed that: muscles in the shoulders are relaxed and softened, the tight muscle between my jaw and collarbone is almost completely gone (I can’t believe it, it was giving me grief for over 10 years), the pain in the lower and upper back is completely gone, and the legs have straightened out and are now even. I can see with my own eyes in the X-Rays that my head is in the correct position and now looks straight, my shoulders have evened out, and my neck is in the correct formation. In addition, in the opinion of Dr. Park, these results were so fast due to my lifestyle – I’ve been a raw vegan for almost 2 years now, exercise and stretch daily, do Yoga and Pilates, drink a lot of pure water. I feel like I’ve freed myself from the physical pain that’s been bothering me for many years and I’m extremely happy and relieved.

I highly recommend Dr Park and his practice at C1 Spine Lab. 3 years ago I was in a bicycle accident. As a result I suffered fractures to my C1, C2 and T8 bones along my spinal cord. This meant I had neck and back injuries. But my injuries were not severe enough to operate on. In fact, surgery could have done more harm than good, so I was prescribed 3 months in a neck and back brace instead to let my body heal on its own. While in hospital and during my post-recovery follow up, the specialist whom I was consulting was always very vague in explaining my injuries: how my body would recover, and how the injuries was going to impact my health and wellbeing. I received little advise on physical therapy, exercise, and nutrition. I had to probe for answers. Basically I was told that there was little I could do because my fractures were compressional and that changed my spinal alignment, and I could expect pain to become my new BFF. Throughout these 3 years, on a scale of 1-10, I suffered neck pains ranging from 3-7, and back pains ranging from 5-10. I refuse to be dependent on painkillers, and will only take them if my pains were debilitating. I have tried yoga, egoscue, and core strengthening exercises to rebuild my neck, shoulder and back muscles that had atrophied. But nothing has shown more results than the atlas orthogonal treatment. Dr Park is honest, sincere, and a wealth of information. Finally, someone could explain to me why I was suffering so. His explanation is based on sound science, and this treatment is tailored to each individual, based on your x-ray analysis. In short, my misaligned spine was not properly supporting my 17 pound head, adding unnecessary stress to my neck, shoulders and back, and that means PAIN. (Yes, the adult head is 17-22 pounds.) Honestly, I will say I was skeptical during the first adjustment treatment that the instrument that delivered a pulse through your spine that you can barely feel could bring me the relief I sought. But the day after, my pains had decreased and I was convinced. My neck pains are now 1-4 and my back pains 1-4. This treatment is non-invasive, gentle and quick. Now, this treatment will not absolutely eradicate your pain, but it will significantly decrease your pain and improve your quality of life. You will have to do your part to maintain your health by doing the prescribed exercises, sitting in a correct posture in front of the computer, and sleeping with ample support. If you suffer like I do, definitely go see what Dr Park can do for you.
