I saw Rick Laguatan several years ago when he was at Lombardis dental practice and walked out of his office in tears. He was aggressive, arrogant, and rude. His dental assistant made condescending comments about me in my presence to him and Id had just about enough. They obviously hadnt read my chart or noted that Id had previously bad experiences with dentists and have a serious fear of them. It took a lot just for me to go in. Id had enough of his rude staff and inconsiderate treatment. I walked out. If you need a dentist who will take time to understand you and your dental needs and a professional with a warm and kind bedside manner, see someone else!!!! My dental work was performed by another, kinder, more professional dentist at another practice. I also received a letter from an attorney representing Laguatan demanding that I remove my review on yahoo or face legal action. Rick Laguatans willingness to use threats and intimidation rather than more amicable methods to resolve this situation only serves to underscore my original categorization of him as aggressive, arrogant, and rude. Furthermore, after reading the contents of the letter from Laguatans attorney, I would also add "dishonest" to my description. The letter from Laguatans attorney contains outright lies and misconceptions regarding my experience.

Dr. Laguatan is by far the best dentist in the area. My whole family and many of my friends are patients of Yorkville Family Dental and we have all agreed that his prices and service are exceptional. Nobody looks forward to going to the dentist, right? Well a visit with Dr. Laguatan is actually like a pleasant social engagement. He is very entertaining while he works on your teeth so the time seems to fly by and you barely notice that his hands are in your mouth. His prices have always been fair and his schedule is very accommodating. He is very patient and will keep working until he gets the job done to your satisfaction. I strongly recommend this dentist.

Not sure why they only show a 3.9 on stars. The staff here is amazing. I was recommended by my husband that HATES going to the dentist, and I have to say, they are the best! I have been to previous dentists that dont care your comfort level, they just want to get in your mouth and be done. The staff and the Dr made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. Made great small talk while getting my cleaning done and they have given me advice no other dentist has. Thank you YFD! My girls will be your next patients!

I just recently got kicked out of my pediatric dentist & started going here. I really liked my old dentist & didnt know how to feel about going somewhere else but Ive already been twice & had really great experiences! Everyone is very nice & personable & made going to an "adult dentist" a breeze lol. 11/10 would recommend(:

This was my first time in a long time to see a dentist and I needed an extraction. The Dr was amazing the staff made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Definitely will be my dentist from now on and I think Ill enjoy going with a staff like this!!

In the brief time I worked there I witnessed the receptionist argue with a great many patients, speak poorly of the doctor to other staff, as well as witness single use items being re-used. Eeww!
