The Holidays are upon us, and there is finally time to express my appreciation to the staff at the Animal Medical Hospital at Glenwood. First on the list of gratitudes are Drs. Scheinberg and Holmes. They have provided care for our English Springer Spaniel from the time we brought the pup home at eight weeks of age. Together, they have expertly guided us through a number of issues that are typical of field dogs like ours. What we appreciate most is the honesty and integrity that weveve received in diagnostics and treatment plans. Together, the doctors and their staff have been truly wonderful in a way that shows that love and care of their patients comes first and foremost. When you enter the waiting room, typically you will find one or two other happy "patients" interacting with the front office staff and wagging tails for a treat. On a personal note, I want to share that the hospital recently faced a life and death situation. They had a Boston Terrier needing surgery and the owner chose to surrender the dog because of this. Drs. Scheinberg and Holmes elected to perform surgery and take custody of the terrier until she could find a proper home. My husband and I are in much gratitude for their actions because we adopted that little Boston, and she is at this moment curled up on the couch with our Springer. In closing - you will not find a better animal hospital anywhere.

How very interesting! My last THREE reviews were removed. Could be it be because I was candid? I wanted to edit my comments to amend the amount charged for the grooming. It was just under $150, not "nearly $200" as originally stated. Yes, for a grooming! But the review was not on their web page. So, again: I wrote a review earlier last week on how we were allowed to bring our freshly groomed cat home only to discover, when opening the carrier in our living room that he had six cuts, bleeding cuts (not nicks)! Not one word was said to prepare us for this sight; therefore, nothing was said about how we should care for these nasty cuts! What a shame this clinic was not straight forward with us regarding this situation. What kind of business practice is that? An example of poor customer service and worse, poor animal treatment! Oh, yes, this same groomer has groomed our cat many times without incident. If there was a problem with our cat, shouldnt it have been in his records for the specific groomer to read? After the first cut and a realization that they couldnt not successfully take care of him, why did they proceed? Highly disappointing! The removal of my original and second review only reinforces my displeasure with the Glenwood Animal Hospital and its practices.

I was very impressed with the personal service that the Animal Hospital of Glenwood provided me. They treated my dog, and myself like we were long term friends. Its very rare to find a company that doesnt look at you as a money source, rather is willing to build a relationship with their client instead. Dr. Lida also took the extra time to show me how to apply the medication on my dog properly so that I knew what I had to do when I got home. They have earned my business. Thank you for for the great customer service that I received today from everyone at your place of business.

Without a doubt the best Vets and groomer in MD! Our 15 year old dog was treated with exceptional care when he had to have several decayed teeth removed. The follow up care is excellent. I cannot say enough about the groomer. She did a perfect job and was even able to cut our dogs nails and file them without any problems (this is a first!). She came out to say hello when I picked him up and to make sure I was happy with his grooming. He looked great! I would highly recommend Animal Medical Hospital in Glenwood for your pets care and grooming.

I recently rescued a puppy from the Howard County Animal Rescue, and they took my adopted girl to this hospital so she could be spayed. When I picked her up, I was surprised and extremely impressed how friendly and caring the staff is. I fell so much in love with them, that I decided to keep them as my puppys official veterinarians.
