I had to get my scale cleaning with my top braclets on. I had to pre-Medicaid before my procedure. However, once I knew what was going to happen with shots in my gums I was scared though. However, I have other health issues and I ask the assistant dentist, what was all the medication for due to the shots in y gums. Requested to speak with the dentist so they can excomplain my procedures however I was still scared. She came right in and tak with me so that I can feel comfortable and she knew about my health condition. Also, let me know how much medicine they would be giving me in my gums and to insure me that I would be alright and she made sure I was. I was nervous about the needle being shot in my gums it was 3 times on the right and then 3 on the left side to my bottom theeth. The young lady allow me to hold her hands during the time I was getting my medication with the needle. I was so numb and still scared but once she told me that I could ask any questions about my procedure and that it is needed so I could have healthily theeth. However I have bracelets on the top teeth, so within 2 weeks I must go back and get the top done. After they Finish my procedure I was sore they did a great job and I truly recommend anyone to try them out. Will be making my son appt. The numbness went away and my mouth back to normal and feeling good. I will be ready in 2 weeks for my top teeth could be done now that I know what to expect I should be alright. i would like to thank everyone for working so hard to handle my concerns with so much positivity and show me they truly care about their customers. I havent had this type of customer services in a long time. So professional, when it comes to concerns and getting answers to your questions. They didnt rush me to make a decision she just explain to me in a way that I understood what was going to happen. Truly appreciate your kindness.......scale 1-10, I would give this Fenton Dentist a (10), on 7/28/@ 11:30am. Thanks again! Janet Dean

I went to the dentist with high hopes. Paid almost $2,000 out of pocket and even though the service is friendly, the work has been unacceptable. For starters there was a temporary bridge that broke. Second the doctor had to trim the tooth down again and apply a new temporary bridge...which also broke. After the second temporary broke, the doctor said he had to trim down the healthy bottom tooth opposite the bridge. A few days later the third temporary broke. Then after all of this, my permanent bridge arrived, I was relieved to be finished with this ordeal. They place the bridge and the first time I bite down, the bridge shattered in the office, the nurses assistant kept blaming the problem on "the lab." So it was another three weeks with a temp. And you guessed it, the temporary broke within 2 weeks. This time I decided not to return until the new "stronger" bridge came in. So this past Saturday I go to the dentist to get my new and improved permanent bridge, and guess what., the first time I bit down on it, the "stronger" permanent bridge broke. And on top of all that, Dr. Kim who Id been working with the entire time, is no longer working with Fenton. The dentist assistant tells me I have to start the entire process over again, due a new mold, drill my teeth down again, and wait another three weeks for a permanent bridge. Not to mention the inconvienience of taking off work to come to the dentist. Now its been 6 months of headaches and visits to the dentist and I still dont have a permanent bridge. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Poor is not bad enough...

Silver Spring office.... The worse! DO NOT GO THERE to see Dr. Crawford... From the receptionist to the Dr. Crawford. The receptionist had me on hold for an appointment and never came back. I called back and Ms. Ghetto proceeded to give me an appointment. I only dealt with it because I gave this man 3K for a crown and I wanted him to fix my problem. Dr. Crawford is not personable and he has NO conversation. He does not explain nor give you options. Hes like a revolving door from patient to patient... This man gave me a crown w/out doing a root canal that I needed. I didnt know I needed at the time because he didnt mentioned it. (my new GREAT dentist told me) My initial visit for a crown w/Dr. Crawford was horrible after the procedure. I had to go see him several times because of pain and he done nothing, but told me take tylenol and advil together. I was in pain for 2 weeks. 3 weeks later when the crown was put on.. it left a big blister on my gums and he burned it off twice (not to mention burnt my lip). 3rd time gave me an antibiotic... nothing happen blister still remained... I had to go see another doctor to fix the issue. I should have known to not proceed with a doctor that does drive bys, because thats what it felt like at every visit. I have nothing good to say about this doctor, but the hygienist was okay. Everyone else act as if I need their services as if theyre the only dentist in the area... My new dentist is the best I recommend Quince Orchard Dental Care.. You would not be disappointed.

I was very disappointed in my experience this week. Both my husband and I are new to the area and was looking for a local dentist to get back on our regular dental care services. Our appointment was at 5 and we were rushed from the time we got there to the time we left. During the series of x rays the assistant was moving so quickly she almost snatch the piece out my mouth. When the dentist came in I felt like she just seen money and listed things that needed to be done ASAP so they could get the money. The tooth is a mineral and if the cavity has not damaged the enamel then improving your dental routine can aid in the tooth repairing itself. I asked the dentist if we could try that method but she really pushed for the fillings and wrapped up our convo since I had some hesitations. When the hygienist came in she looked at my teeth and said I had little to no plaque build up rushed her way through my cleaning. The cleaning took 6 mins. While she was cleaning I informed her she was strapping my gums and my mouth begin to bleed profusely. When my husband and I got home and went to bed out mouth continued to bleed throughout the night onto our linens. Never will I ever go back to this dentist. Im not even requesting my x rays. I will not continue to go somewhere who concerns are solely based on money. Beware!!

Im a chicken at the dentist because Im SO hard to numb in certain areas so I let my teeth go a bit. I did Sedative Dentistry here for a filling and crown a while back because of that condition and those fears. It worked out very well and the staff was soooo kind and attentive when I was in my "twilight" state. I went back after that to get another crown that fell out glued back in (someone else had installed it long ago), fully expecting the "hard-sell/upsell" but it didnt happen! Their new dentist, Nahal Golpayegani, is now my favorite dentist of all time. Her bedside manner is very, very good and she told my ALL MY OPTIONS (I love hearing all the options instead of just what the dentist WANTS to do!), and those options included simply gluing my old crown back on and sending me on my way. After I asked some questions, she helped me weigh my options and pros/cons based on my numbing problem and possible future outcomes if I kept this aging and faulty crown. I decided on a replacement crown on my own accord, it didnt cost a lot and I dont feel "upsold." I may get more work done that I otherwise would have been afraid of getting because of the way this place is and because of Nahal.
