I suspect fraudulent activity at this practice! I went in for a second opinion after a prior visit to a different dental practice months before. Already aware i needed a root canal. After my x-ray and teeth analysis by a very unpleasant dentist, i was informed i had 5 cavities and needed an excavation and implant. I was then shown a 3 minute instructional video on the procedure while the dentist left the office. Shortly afterwards a very inarticulate office manager came in and incoherently described the cost of the procedure which totaled $3,500 out of pocket expense in addition to my insurance coverage. I certainly did not plan on putting my money or trust in such an unprofessional establishment with a very sketchy atmosphere. I told her that i would need time to think about it. I then asked if i could at least get a cleaning, at which she responded - "the cleaning lady is not here today." it is worth mentioning that other reviewers also reported being giving the same response. I believe they use this as a tactic to pressure patients into committing to expensive/complex procedures prior to receiving a basic cleaning. She then asked me if i wanted to reschedule; to which i politely agreed (i had no plans of ever returning to this place). I returned to the front desk. While the receptionist was rescheduling my appointment, i asked for a summary of my visit and a legitimate copy of the quote the office manager put together. I was told that the "system was down and i would receive the documents upon my next visit!" After a few days my insurance was billed and processed for my x-rays (apparently that system worked just fine). I called the office requesting a copy of my x-rays as i planned to take my business elsewhere. I was told it would be emailed to me. After 20 minutes i received no email. I called back and was told it was resent, I waited another 20 minutes and sure enough i received no email once again. I called...again, i was then told i would need to need to fill out a consent form before my x-rays can be released to me. THIS COMES AFTER TWO SUPPOSED CLAIMS THAT THE X-RAYS WERE ALREADY EMAILED. (I promise you i cannot make this stuff up!) I agreed and told her to email it to me so i can sign it and abruptly email/fax it back. I believe they can now sense my urgency and intentions to take my business elsewhere. Guess what? the consent form cannot be emailed (although i requested the form be sent to my email, the same email i provided during my registration). That was the last straw, i requested to speak to the manager was told she is unavailable and I can leave her a voicemail. I declined and said that i would head to their office after work to pick up the x-rays in person. I left work early and arrived at 4:37 pm and the door was shut! As you can see 5:00 pm is close of business. I called, and to my disbelief the receptionist answered the phone, i asked what was going on and she told me lady who handles x-rays had left already. This happened just yesterday 7/27/2017. All I wanted was my x-rays. Thats it! The x-rays which i deserve and was payed for by my insurance. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. For whatever reason they do not want to provide me with documentation or my x-rays i do not know, but i highly suspect fraud. I am beginning to question whether the x-rays i was shown on the computer screen are even mine to begin with, and they are concerned that if i take the documents to another dentists as well as the quote as reference i may discover some sort of fraudulent activity. Call me crazy but I find it hard to believe everything that occurred was a coincidence. I regret not reading the 1 star ratings/reviews. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THESE 5 STAR RATINGS! it could be friends, relatives etc. I promise you this was my experience and i was very polite and respectful throughout the ordeal and only got frustrated when i finally arrived before closing time and the door was closed. They have not heard the last of me. I want a copy of my x-rays and nothing else to do with this place.

BIG NOOOOOO. Please and please stay away from this dentist. This is a rip-off, they are fake and fraud. I am not a person who like to write any reviews but for this dental office, I am more than happy to do so. I will continue to speak about it in Silver Spring community, local and social media. This place does not deserve even 1 star but I have to choose 1 start so I can post my feedback. This is what happened on 11/26/2016 1- I scheduled appointment for myself and my daughter two weeks ago for regular cleaning 2- This office called me on 11/25/2016 to confirm that I am coming for teeth cleaning. 3- I got there 30 min before with my kids. ( 2 year old and 4 year old) They made me to complete all paper work. We waited in small and boring lobby for more than an hour. Two Spanish ladies at reception with no smile, no customer service skills, no people skills, kept talking to each others in Spanish. 4- After I made some noise she put me in a room. I saw in each room there were patients. 5- There was only one doctor ( some Asian man) He was working like a car sales man, he would go to each room and spend 2 min and move to next room so he can engage everyone and pretend that he is an awesome. 6- There were more than 19 patients at this office but this office ( reception )was keep taking them without being honest that they have only one doctor and wait time is EXTREEMLY long. 7- Asian man looked at me teeth and said " office manager will come talk to me" 8- Office manager ( one of receptionist ) came and she started cross selling me with the bill of about $900.00. The way she told me I felt like oh my God, I might need to buy all new 32 teeth but infect this is how the dentist make money. They dont make that much money on regular cleaning so they have to scare you with bunch of lies to make extra money. 9- I got upset and I said I need simple cleaning, nothing but simple regular cleaning. 10- She said " oh cleaning is not possible because we dont have HYGIENIST today. Off course I got more upset because I was there was almost 2 hours and kids were crying and running around. 11- They pulled my 4 years old in the room, counted her teeth and said" She looks good" I said but I need to get her teeth clean" She said sorry we dont have any HYGIENIST. 12- We spent about three hours and returned home without any service. Please dont go there. Save yourself time, energy, money and stress.

I selected this place for 2 reasons, 1) it is very convenient to my home and 2) they say they have early hours. I continue to tolerate the issues becasue of these two reasons, but my last visit was so disappointing that I had to write a review. I have since starting my visits made a point to ask for early morning appointments so that I can make it work on time. I work 6 days a week so I am unable to make Saturday appointments. I explain this each time I make my next appointment. My last 6 month cleaning was scheduled for 7:45, I arrived at 7:45. Only to sit until 8:20 when they took a new client who had just completing filling out his paperwork. I was told it would only be a moment so I sat another 10 min before telling the receptionist that I could no longer wait and would call for another appointment. When I calmed myself down I called. I was told that the new client had arrived first and that he was just completing his paperwork. I expressed my issue as being my appointment had been on their books for 6 months. I rescheduled for the next week. I asked again to be the first appointment. I was given a time of 7:00 am, I asked would someone be there to do the cleaning as I have been told this several times before and the person was either not their until later or running late. I arrived at 7:00 am only to sit until 8:00. No one explained anything never said anything. It was not until almost 8:15 that the 2 young ladies, one the receptionist the other hygienist informed me that they were unable to verify my insurance. At this point I was in disbelief. I had sat for 1 hour before either of them said anything to me. She requested my social to verify and I said to her that I had never had to do that before. She informed me that the information she had was incorrect which is why they could not verify. According to another employee the verification should have been done prior to my appointment but it was not, which made me even more angry. Id like to believe that this will help them in making certain things are handled appropriately and appointments as made are kept. I am certain as a company they require payments to be received in a timely manner as should they handle their clients.
