This office is the most unorganized and non-courteous I have ever been too and it gets worse with each visit. After being disconnected on the telephone to make an appointment I called back in, I then get placed on hold for 30 minutes. I hung up and called back in only to get disconnected again. I finally got an appointment on the 4th call. I arrived at my appointment 10 minutes early only to wait another 30 minutes after my scheduled time. I was the only patient in the building to my knowledge judging from the empty parking lot. I was also listening to the girl behind the counter answer telephone calls and immediately responding with "We are with other customers at this time may I place you on hold" 2 big problems I had with this. 1 - When did patients start getting referred to as customers? 2 - No other patients were in the office. Needless to say I advised the girl behind the counter that I was not waiting any longer and I thought the service etc was extremely poor and that I would not be back.

I went into family first dental for emergency, tooth broke, I got it pulled. The dentist told me to make appointment right now when I leave for follow up , because she wanted to help me with my teeth and get them taken care of. Only to to be told I have to call in on Thursday mornings before a certain time, to get appointment well do you know how hard that is you cant get through. For over a year. I am on dental assistance and Ive called all around hanover to make appointment for my teeth. No one accepts it. Now I have another broken tooth in the back I called family first dental again to be told they only do one emergency and so they can not help me. WHAT?!!! Instead wants to give me a number for Lancaster wth! I live in Hanover Im on assistance do I have gas money for that no....unbelievable. thing is I begin new job next week and will have my own benefit s in 2 months. I work Im only on this assistance thing for one month, and it is not helpful at all!!!!

i called for an appt. on 6/13/14 i told the person who answered that i wasnt feeling well and id like an appt. she put me on hold and came back on and told me that they only had one doctor and that i wasnt sick long enough to be seen,they said drink alot of fluids and take tylenolol and if i wasnt better till monday,i should call them back.well i got worse as the day went on and ended up going to the e.r. and they said i was sick enough to be seen,i was there from 8pm till 3am,the e.r. is the last place i would want to go and if family first hanover would have given me an appt. friday morning i wouldnt have ended up in the e.r. the e.r. doc told me tomake sure i follow up with my pcp well i called family first to make a follow up appt. and they told since i was seen in the e.r. there was no reason for them to see me, all i can say is guess where i dont go if iam sick??? FAMILY FIRST HANOVER NO HEALTH CARE

I ended up going to Family First because my GP moved there. Eventually he left and I had to deal with their regular physicians. What I experienced first hand was the kind of care the working poor or unemployed in our area receive and I have to say it is pathetic. How on earth are these poor souls supposed to get better and be more productive if their health care providers are disinterested in them? This organization perpetuates the cycle of poverty by keeping people sick and unable to function. Its disturbing. To top it off, Family First charges the govt $90 per visit per patient at a minimum.

Called in for a dental appointment, the lady that answered was very rude about explaining that I can only make appointments on Thursday mornings! Ive had problems with staff before at the dental part but thought maybe it changed. I regret making that Terrible phone call. So unprofessional. My children and I will not ever be going to this place i wouldnt of out a star at all but needed to write this review to let others know not a good friendly place to go to. Will not be calling Thursday or ever!!

What a joke. The lazy, rude and obnoxious office ladys are unfit to understand the basics of apt management. The place is always over ran with children whose parents just do not care. Syringes and a spoon found in in res t room.. 2 hour waits in crusty smelly chairs that are always sticky.the dental side have very thick Spanish accents You do not understand. East Berlin family medicine i switched to. Amazing they are. 0 stars. .. doctor smelled of booze, and was slurring words.

While I cant speak about the doctors at Family First, Lisa Smith is a CRNP who serves as my Primary Care Provider. She is incredibly thoughtful and aware. Not to mention that shes the only person whos ever managed to flawlessly draw blood from my notoriously hard to stick veins. I didnt choose Lisa but rather was switched to her when the PCP I was assigned left. There could not have been a better outcome as far as Im concerned.

I called to make a dental cleaning appointment and am told I need to call in at 8 am Thursdays because I am a new patient. I am advised they only have a couple of appointments open for new patients. I am not sure why they cant fill those appointments. I can give them a calendar and teach them how to use Google calendar online if they are not sure how to schedule??? Wont be calling Thursday.

Reading the other reviews make me question where these people went to. I have gone here since I was little and they have always been great. The only bad thing is that when I call I cant get through or make appointments. Lisa is great and has always been more than wonderful no matter what I go in for.

Wow, reading the other reviews... are any of you literate? This place is pretty good. Lisa, the nurse practitioner is wonderful. She is so kind and very knowledgable. Lots of ghetto people here, but Lisa makes it worth it.

these ppl sux you can never get an appt in a timely manner and they constantly put u on hold for no reason. your best bet is a new doc or go to the ER. and when you do get an appt your in the waiting room forever.
