This place is awful. I had my poor father there couple years ago for about 2 weeks and got him out immediately. My father was very ill from a stroke and was paralyzed for the most part on his left side. They didnt check on him and he fell out of bed with no fall mats on the floor and hit his head and face on the steel feeding apparatus. The woman who was suppose to be in charge of nursing who was incredibly rude told me he hung his leg out of the bed like a drunken sailor and that he had imaginary friends that he talked to. I even had an employee told me to get my father out of there because he was way too ill for these people to take care of and that was the truth. When he was released I found an error on his records where someone had dont not reseatate and made them change it immediately. Other patients who were there use to call out for people to help them and a few times I had to help them myself because no one would come to assist. It may look nice but BEWARE.

They take good care of my mother. They have lots of activities, trips and outings. She looks better and is in better shape than when she arrived. They have care taker classes once a week. They call family members whenever anything happens such as a sinus problem or falling down, anything related to her care. Its difficult putting your parent in a nursing home and lets face it no place is going to be perfect, but although my Mother would prefer to be home its not safe for her to live alone. She has health issues requiring round the clock care. When visitors asked her she told them its a good place. When my mother was younger she worked in another nursing home and did not like how seniors were treated there. Wilson is different and that gives us peace of mind.

I give to a 4 stars now as Kathy did help me and solved my issue. Thank you! Kathy. This is not a good service in town. My mom was moved in yesterday and supposed to give her a walker as it is critical for my moms knee replacement. First, the nurse refused as she said my mom needs PT evaluation first; OK, we wait. Then today, we were told that the PT will not be onsite since it is Saturday. I have tried to call all the management phones but NONE answer. There obviously no arrangement for my mom at all. The issue is - the nurses here dont want to help... I think we are going to move out on Monday.
