I have been here a couple of times in the past because its the closest one to my house. Its a small location in an old building. I showed up today to do a 3-hour Glucose Tolerance Test to test for gestational diabetes in my pregnancy. My paperwork was faxed to them on Friday, its now Tuesday. To do this test, you need to fast until the test is over -- which is not the easiest thing for a hungry, pregnant woman! They told me they did not have the necessary supplies (glucose drink) for this test, that they had "ordered the supplies but have no idea when they will come in". She said I could either fast again on another day (i.e. come back) or go elsewhere. So now Im at another location in the city doing the glucose test, 1 hr later (an extra hour of fasting). Needless to say, Im annoyed. Im surprised there arent more reviews for Quest. The Quest locations vary so much. Some are good, with decent customer service. Others can never find your paperwork, are ill-supplied, and honestly kind of rude to you. Urgh.

This was the first experience with Quest and the worst experience Ive ever had getting simple blood work. I scheduled an appointment for 8:30 am. I got stuck in traffic so I called to see if they had a late policy. The receptionist picked up and hung up on me SIX times, refusing to answer the phone. I made it there 9 minutes late after sitting in traffic for 1 hour and 52 minutes. I saw a sign reading that people with appointment are taken as priority, so I asked the only other person in the waiting room if they were a walk in or an appointment and they said they had just walked in a few minutes before me. They were taken before me which was fine. But then I asked the receptionist how long it would take and they refused to tell me.

Dont take your kids here. This place is listed as performing pediatric blood draws. I took my son here. The phlebotomist tried 3 times (2 in one arm, 1 in the other arm). Failed to successfully draw any blood, but successfully caused my son to writhe in pain and bruise his arms (see picture). Two days later, I went across the street to Childrens Hospital - instantly found the vein, done in 1 minute. Go to Childrens Hospital instead of Quest Diagnostics.

Quest Diagnostics twice (!) detected antibodies to a very horrible disease in my blood. They referred me to a specialist. I am uninsured and I had to go to this expensive specialist who took my blood for antibody and more tests. it turned out that I have no disease and no antibodies in my blood. the doctor said Quest Diagnostics have poor equipment and false positive results are not rare in their labs. If you have positive, double check with another lab!!!!

I went to the Quest Diagnostics in Waltham to get some standard bloodwork done and I was in and out of there in about 5 minutes. The nurse on hand there, Glory, was polite and efficient and had me out of there in no time while also making me feel comfortable during the blood drawing process. Id highly recommend going there if you need some blood tests done.

I had my first visit to Quest and was very pleased. I was there shortly after the lunch closure and didnt have to wait to be seen. Glory was my phlebotomist. She was friendly and did a great job. She used the larger needle that would not usually be good with my small veins, but she was quick and accurate. I would go back to this facility.

By far the BEST lab you can go to ......Glory is AMAZING someone you can open up to and above all handle you with care that embodies love. Too often its a numbers and insurance game but this location and staff are the gold standard of care. They are my favorite. Best accident of discovery I could have had in finding this location and GLORY!!!

Ive been going to Quest for years. They are in the same building as my primary care physician. Glory has always been quick to take patients in and has a very professional ethic. She also does the blood test without my even knowing I had a needle puncture. She does a great job. Thanks Glory.
