I have been going to Dr. Lyons for over 30 years. First with my daughter, and then for myself. I recently had a problem with light flashes in my left eye. The courteous receptionist scheduled an appt. even though the Dr. was booked for the day. I was taken quickly. Dr. Lyons gave me his full attention. He made a diagnosis, but sent me to a retinal specialist to be safe. The office scheduled that appt. for me. He asked me to keep him posted after my visit. I called & left a message. He returned the call & spoke to me at length about my visit. By the way, the retinal specialist confirmed the diagnosis made by Dr. Lyons. I have read other negative comments. I have been to Dr. Lyons dozens of times and he has always worn a lab coat, contrary to another review. Also, Sue has worked for Dr. Lyons for over 30 years and I feel very comfortable dealing with her. She has always been very nice and knowledgeable.

Brought my daughter here, she never had glasses, he did the eye exam, but he isnt friendly with the child or parent, he rushes threw everything, my daughter ended up getting glasses but she kept on telling me she still couldnt see, well the nurse at school did an eye exam with her glasses on, one eye is 20/70 & the other is 20/50! I am going to another eye Dr. not happy at all with Dr. Lyons, plus the glasses broke, nothing my daughter did I guess just cheap ;(

My main gripe is the dr is the only one who adjusts glasses so you need to go when he is there which isnt on a set schedule apparently. I bought glasses a while ago, needed them adjusted after I left but havent been able to go back when hes there due to my work, his schedule so Im still wearing my old ones.Every other place Ive gone over the years has the staff cross trained to do adjustments on glasses as well as the paperwork, ordering etc.

Rude staff and doctor, long waits and rush you out as fast as they can. Incapable of simple instructions and only after numerous calls do they yeild unsatisfactory results. Will never return, will not recommend.

A Private User

Everytime we come here we wait long, they wont let my kids in the back and make us leave are coats in the waiting room. The Dr doesnt have any patients and fries to rush you out.
