How do I begin with my experience with Dr. Gottlieb. So many years ago I discovered Dr. Gottlieb when I had major issues and nothing was getting resolved. The day I knew he would be my dentist....Many years ago on on Sunday evening. I called with an emergency toothache and I was scheduled to leave on vacation the following morning at around 6 am. He advised me to meet him at the office that evening around 9 oclock. He showed up along with his three children. He fixed my tooth and I had a great vacation. From that point on, there was no other dentist. Slowly he worked on correcting every issue I had. Over the last 20 years he has taken an okay smile and made it into an amazing smile. From the cleanings, fillings, to the root canals with crowns, you name it, he was there to help. Two amazing moments stand out in my experience and that is what I would like to share with you today. Many years ago, my favorite dentist had said to me I have a great smile but with lumineers on my two front teeth, my smile would be amazing. Ohhhh how right he was. At my age, I was not interested in wearing braces and this is why I did nothing about these two "bent" teeth that bothered me in pictures. I decided to go with the lumineers and to this day I receive nothing but compliments on my smile - to which I have to reply; they have been my best investment and I go on to show people they are lumineers and what an impact they have made. Now Dr. Gottlieb could have not said anything to me and went on his way but I am thankful every day, as my personal dentist, he advised me of my options. I mean, if your dentist cant advise you - who could? The second issue recently occurred when a tooth near the front had to be replaced and I needed a crown done. While waiting for a permanent crown to be created they made me a temporary. I was soooooo afraid this temporary would look hideous because this happened right before a wedding and another family function. Needless to say, when they created the temporary it matched so perfect to my regular teeth I was amazed. The color was so perfect I was then afraid the permanent wouldnt be nearly as perfect. Once again, they never cease to amaze me. The permanent came in and its also a perfect match. I could go on about my experiences with Dr. Gottlieb but I am sure you get the picture. The other aspect of a great business is the support staff. This office has the best staff around. Hands down. I have no idea how he completes his hiring process but it seems he has a knack for obtaining a quality crew. From Dee in the billing department that is always there to calm me down when my insurance messes something up by telling me "I will re-bill them and explain what had to be done, now calm down". Judy; who I see every six months to clean my teeth during our "Therapy Session". My girls; Anna, Cheryl and Nicole who are there to replace, repair and piece me back together during my times when my teeth decide to go in an uproar. I trust these woman with every aspect of dental work. And finally Marie, to take my money, or at least my portion :) at the end of the visit and remind me I need a follow up visit. These woman are a crew I have nothing but respect for. I call, they answer. I ask a question, they respond. I have an emergency, they treat it as an emergency. They have helped me over the years and I would be lost without them. Thank you all for your help over the many years, Your loyal (loud, laughing, always running a little late) patient, Jeanette Naylor

Dr gottlieb seemed very nice at first until i started having more and more problems with my mouth. He just kept making jokes saying r u sure u r not pregnant nc ur teeth r very weak. Every filling he ever did a few weeks later i needed a root canal. After the rt canal i continued to have pain and then he said it was another tooth causing it bc a rt canal cant have any pain bc there is no root. So i decided to go to a specialist which took 1 look at my xrays and said who did theese root canals bc there is still stuff up in there, which was also the reason for all of my absets i was getting. Now that wasnt even the worst. They did a partial root canal on my 9 yr old and she wound up with an absets on it. Now my daughter can not have gluten and its in her charts, well he called her in penicillin which has gluten. I did not know that until after she was getting sick. I decided to have her seen by a pediatric dentist but couldnt have her seen until 2 fays later bc of the holiday. I asked if dr gotylied would call her in amoxacillin bc of the gluten and he said no bc she is no longer a patient there! Now mind u she hasnt even been seen by another dentist yet! She has an infection bc of their work and he called her in something that has an ingredient that she can not have which is in her file, and he had the nerve to say he will not call in a new one bc she wasnt going back to his office! He is only there for the money and EVERYONE i speak to has had major problems with him!! Ok that is a lie, 9 out of 10!!

While I think Dr. Todd is a very nice person and he always made me feel welcome, I have had issues with their billing department before. They tried to charge me for something twice and it wasnt the first time. The work itself I thought was good at the time but I am now in the process of getting 5 fillings redone by another dentist. Some of them were less than a year old when recommend for redo. I have had horrible sensitivity issues since getting the original fillings and I have no idea why. Im sure if anyone from the office responds itll just be a semi-snarky half explanation with the same invalidating tone that Ive seen amongst the other retorts. My big let down moment was when at 23 years of age and after going to him for several years at that point, I had to ask him if I has wisdom teeth. To which he responded that I did and they were all impacted and needed to be surgically removed. I asked because my formerly perfectly in line teeth had changed. One tooth on the bottom had started to turn outward and thats what tipped me off. I wonder if I hadnt asked if that information would have ever been revealed to me. It used to be nice there. Now its a factory with him running from one room to the next all in between each other. My new dentist schedules her appointments and actually stays in the room with you for almost the entire time. Others in my family who have gone there have since left for similar reasons to mine.

Let me first start off with I thought Dr. Todd did excellent work. I have no complaints with anything that was done. I am on the fence if I will return or find a new dentist. My complaint lies only with the billing department. I started in 2013 going to Franklinville Dentistry when I broke a tooth. They fit me in right away and fixed the issue. I have great coverage and decided since I liked Dr. Todd and the work he already did, to get everything fixed. Every time I met with the billing department, I explained, I have no problem with any co-pays, I just really dont need the extra work, and would rather spread it over a few years to maximize my benefits. Every time I was assured by the financial person that I still had coverage left, and so we proceeded. A month or so back, I received a bill for almost a grand and was told that I exceeded my coverage both in 2013 and 2014 (Took them that long to figure out 2013) and I was responsible to pay. I called my insurance that said they could not help, that the fault was on the part of billing department at the dentist and I would be required to pay. So I suggest that if you are going to be a customer of Franklinville Dentistry, I would keep track of every dime they charge. Again, I recommend Dr. Todd, as all my work was excellent, but I am unsure if I will return due to the extra costs his billing department (or lack their of) has cost me.
