First, I show up on my lunch for a simple exam and cleaning. I sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes before even getting brought back. I ended up going over on my lunch and only getting and exam/x-rays done. I then had to return on another lunch for my cleaning. I was happy enough with the exam and cleaning, nothing to brag about. Then comes the billing of my insurance company....They failed to tell me when I called to schedule the appointment that they told me that they accepted my insurance but didnt include that they were an "out-of-network" office. The office then requested my wifes SSI# (Im through her insurance) to file my claim. My insurance directed me not to give it and I requested that the office contact my ins to work this out. The office never once contacted my ins co, I just was on the phone today and there are no records of Gadol attempting to contact them for a claim. Now they want to charge me late fees because they did not want to take any effort to contact my ins co directly. To top it off the dentist lies directly to me on the phone and tells me that they did contact my ins multiple times, and that they had a 3-way call with me and the ins on the phone. The ins co tried to contact her with me on the phone and she was unavailable so they had left a message for her to contact them back and she couldnt even to that! My wife finally gave in and gave out her SSI# with the insurance company noting not to pay any other claims that they may try to file services rendered for my wife. in Now after the insurance paid they want to charge me late fees and threaten to turn it over to collections! Avoid this place, the person in charge of billing is not a good person! You will regret dealing with them, I have over and over.

My husband and I are new to the area and were looking for a dentist that would be willing to discuss the details of their recommendations with us, and weigh the pros and cons of treatment. We had a poor experience elsewhere in Durham; the other dentist wanted to do more fillings than I have had in my lifetime! Dr. Gadol and her assistants carefully checked our X-rays, did an exam, and based on the combination suggested a much more modest treatment plan, with the idea that there are some other areas to watch with future visits. They also had great recommendations for home care and treatments. I also love that they photograph the teeth for comparison later - smart! Overall I think the office staff, assistants, and Dr. Gadol are all very personable and professional. We felt very well taken care of. Highly recommend!!

Everyone at Gadol Family Dentistry is great! Dr. B worked for 3.5 hours to save 2 of my teeth when other dentists probably would have just recommended a root canal. She stopped twice to ensure adequate pain control, even though it meant changing her original plan. The hygenists are professional, friendly, and take the time to make you comfortable (satelitte radio playing your favorite music!) The front desk staff worked hard to come up with a payment plan that didnt burden my piggy bank and even knew what my insurance would ad wouldnt pay for. Dr. Gadol has an amazing practice! I have recommended all my friends, and I drive from Raleigh just to have these wonderful people take care of me. I totally feel like they really have my best interest in mind.

Ive been doing to Dr. Gadol since I was about 10 years old. And still 11 years later shes still my dentist. She does an amazing job and is incredibly through. She takes the time to get to know you and remembers you when you come back and. Even asks about my family and my sisters who also were her patients. To her you are not just a paycheck or a patient in a chair. You are a person with concerns and needs and she meets and even exceeds those. I also met with dr. Holman as Dr. Gadol was out of the office, and i was a little nervous at first but she took excellent care of me and was very friendly. I would recommend this place to adults and their children. They take the time to get to know you and are excellent at their job.

Dr. Gadol and all of her staff are very friendly and helpful! I was nervous switching dentists for the first time when I relocated to the triangle but as soon as I sat in the chair Dr. Gadol has been nothing but wonderful! She always helps me understand what is going on, and listens to me when I have any questions or concerns at all! Also they have amazing technology including taking images of each tooth as they work on it (which they will share with you if you ask them to!). I highly recommend Dr. Gadol as a friendly, solid dentist!

I am one who has been hesitant about dentists my whole life because a visit usually results in a painful cleaning. Not only was Dr. Gadol absolutely wonderful and willing to educate me on how best to take care of my teeth, but the assistant who cleaned my teeth did so with such care that not only did I not experience any pain, but I found myself relaxing in the chair as she cleaned my teeth. That is definitely a first for me. I will be returning to see Dr. Gadol again and again and could not recommend her practice highly enough!

My 5 year old son had his first cavity and Dr. Gadol and her staff were truly amazing at his appointment to fill it. They gave him their 100% attention and explained what they were doing in a very fun way, making his experience the best it could be. The cavity was filled before he knew it. My family has been coming here for years and it is nice to know that Dr. Gadol always puts her patients best interests first.

Not only was the entire staff friendly and highly professional, they and Dr. Gadol did everything possible to make me relaxed and for my procedures to be as pain-free and comfortable as possible. Very knowledgeable, efficient, and kind staff. I was especially impressed with how respectful and complimentary the staff is with each other. They explain everything in easy to understand language. Each person there has also been incredible with my 6 and 4 year old - to the point that they ASK to go to the dentist! Highly recommend Dr. Gadol and her team.

Dr. Amy and her staff are absolutely amazing. I had 2 major fill ins and they made me feel so comfortable that I took a brief nap during the procedure. When I was cold they even tucked me into a blanket....which is still comforting at 27 years old. She saved a tooth that I assumed had no hope. I would highly recommend this office.

Family-friendly practice with a focus on patient education.
