Im one of those people who break out in a cold sweat at the thought of going to the dentist. I had a rough childhood experience and have hated going to the dentist ever since. Until now. I was referred to Dr. Barlow because I hadnt been to a dentist for while, and I needed some fairly extensive work done, including (gulp!) extracting teeth. Dr. Barlow and his staff treated me like an old friend, and they made sure I was completely comfortable from start to finish. They let me choose the music in my procedure room, and Dr. Barlows friendly chair-side manner and sense of humor made the whole thing fun! He made sure that I felt no pain, even during the extractions, and he gave me a play-by-play of what he was doing so I could understand the process from a laymans perspective. He also compliments his staff on their work, which conveys that he respects them a great deal. I am proud to say, thanks to Dr. Barlow, that I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist. I now look forward to my next visit!

Dr. Barlow and everyone there are simply put-- incredible. My family has been going here for all dental care since I was a young child and I would never change dentists, not even if it was free elsewhere. And even though I live in Raleigh now I still drive to Cary to see them. My husband and sister-in-law are starting to go now too. I cant recommend this practice enough. They are a kindhearted, professional, highly efficient team that goes above and beyond: My mother was to undergo a liver-heart transplant and needed her teeth cleaned before be admitting to the hospital. They made time for her, kept her in their thoughts and she left happy and smiling. In large part because Dr. Barlows humor and great spirit are contagious. When she passed away they were genuinely compassionate. You dont find that very many places, especially in healthcare, anymore.... Thank you to sweet Dr. Barlow and his wonderful staff!

I had serious issues with my childhood dentist, and literally became traumatized. Almost lost all my teeth because of it. Thanks to Tim I have gone from white knuckling the chair to literally almost falling asleep at times. He has saved my teeth and has actually helped me get over my issues with dentistry. As for the person with the low review, I think that blame falls on me actually. I can be a jokester at times and I am pretty sure that Tara (if that is the one) thought it was me playing a prank. I can guarantee you they are really great and I apologize if she thought it was me. You should really give them a try, they are great. I have recommended over 30 plus people to him and not a single complaint. I hope you read this and give them a try. I apologize if they thought it was me when you called.

Ive no idea about Dr. Barlow, another dentists secretary across the clinic recommended me to call them. The lady whose name was Tara ( I think) was extremely rude to me when I told I was a new patient and spelled out my foreign name. She hang the phone in my face after I told her I needed to double check my schedule. Dont call them if you are from any minority group...

Ive been a patient here for over 10 years and wont go anywhere else. Lauren is fantastic and Dr. Barlow is just a real down to Earth person and fantastic dentist. I had a tooth pulled as part of my ortho treatment and felt no pain, just anguish beforehand for no reason.... A couple of weeks ago I had my first root canal, yet another painless procedure!

Great dentist! Great, professional dental staff! Highly reccommended!! I was impressed with the dental exam the first time I went there for a cleaning and thought it was because I was a new patient - that is how he works every time. He is very thorough and caring.

I just recently in the past 2 years started going to Dr. Barlow as i was not keen on the dentist I had been seeing for over 10 years. Dr. Barlow was recommended by my orthodontist who attended school together. I really like Dr. Barlow and his staff.

My wife is scared to death of the dentist and is clostrophobic. It took my wife 4-5 dentists to find Dr. Barlow and he is the best. He has a great caring staff and is an extremely competent dentist. You will be happy he is your dentist. JG
