The service I received was less than perfect and not what I requested. It was rushed and I didnt even get to order contact lenses or glasses. Clearly my business wasnt wanted.
I tried to enroll in their NextMd to no avail. Realizing they input my email address incorrectly, spelling "alumni" "alumnu," I called as the document said to do if you cannot login due to the email being incorrect. I spelled out my email address for the person I spoke with, and was given a new token and told to expect an email with login info. The email never came and the new token didnt work. So I called the next day. The conversation was rushed and I was given an 888 number to call. The 888 number also had an attitude and told me they dont know what I want them to do, because they are for employees not patients. So I called the office back. This time a rushed conversation by someone claiming not to be the same the person I just spoke with, yet she miraculously had the answer to my question without me asking it. She gave me yet another number, this time to HelpDesk. HelpDesk, who was much more friendly, started by saying its probably on the Eye Center end but well try anyway. We tried to no avail, and he said I would need to call the office back to tell them yet again their solutions did not work. I called back and was met with attitude. I told them I called to let them know what HelpDesk said regarding the info being incorrectly put in on their end so they can work on improving their process, though I will be taking my business elsewhere. She hung up in my face! And Im sorry, rushing through a "Ok thank you, maam

I picked up my glasses yesterday and Im going to have to say that this has been the most horrible experience Ive ever had with the Hargrave Eye Center. It all started 2 weeks ago when I looked at my insurance providers website and it showed that I still had benefits for a second pair of glasses. I called Hargrave eye center and a lady by the name of Claudia answered. I explained to her that I have benefits for a second pair of glasses and she told me that I didnt even though it clearly said I do. After a few minutes of going back and forth with her about my insurance benefits, Claudia told me in a rude way that shes sorry that I dont understand how my policy worked and that she couldnt help me anymore and if I have anymore question I need to speak to my insurance provider. I called them and they said I do have insurance benefits for another pair of glasses and they called The Hargrave eye center and told them that as well. I called them back and Claudia answers and just transferred me as soon as I told her my name. She never apologized to me for being rude and for her being mistaken with the information she was telling me. Even when I went to the Hargrave eye center to choose my glasses she didnt apologize to me. I will never go back there again. dont recommend going to the Hargrave Eye Center unless you have an insurance representative on the phone to explain to them what benefits you have.

I had an allergic reaction to false eyelashes, and thought I would be ok. Thought, if I took them off, and washed my eyes out they would feel better. Unfortunately, that didn’t help. The next morning I woke up and my eyes were worse than the day before, so I called Dr. Hargrave office for an emergency visit. Her staff was so kind and courteous, from the receptionist, to the nurse who took care of me, to the technician who checked my eyes. It was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend Dr. Hargrave to family and friends, and even came back for some new eye wear!

Had my recent 6 month check up, as always treated with the utmost respect, and everyone very friendly. Dr. Hargrave is very, very skilled in her field. All the staff are always very courteous, friendly, and very helpful. Everyone has an intricate role to play in the process from check in to check out. My appointments have always been in a timely manner, and all my questions and concerns taken care of. I recommend Hargrave Eye Center VERY HIGHLY. Thank You Dr. Hargrave and Staff for taking care of my EYES.

Dr Hargrave was nice but I only saw her for 2 seconds during the exam, a tech did the majority of the work. My contacts took forever to come in, which is fine but they only gave me a couple of samples. When I requested more (I wear daily disposable), the receptionist dismissed my question and told me to wait until the ups truck came. Rude and unhelpful.

I went to see Dr. Hargrave after conducting a extensive research online and I couldnt be happier I did. I have a pretty complicated eye condition that requires regular visits and every time Im there Im reminded of just how happy I am to have selected Dr. Hargrave for my eye care. Two thumbs up!

Ive been a patient for Dr. Hargrave for almost 20 years now. There is no other doctor I trust with my eyes. Her office staff do a great job of making patients feel welcome. Highly recommended.
