Worth a read before you proceed. I had been recommended here by a few people, as well as had a family member come here for their Lasik procedure, which is why I thought "well great Ill go here." Upon making my appointment I was told some information by a friend who used to work here that: She was asked to take eye measurements & such, while she had no experience or really knew what she was doing. She also told me that she was told to price you out by looking at you & if you think someone can pay more you charge them more." I was uneasy after hearing this but already had my appointment so I still tried it out for myself. I got there & waited over 15 mins while being THE ONLY ONE in the entire place, great start. I go through the first part of the consultation, to then talk to the person helping me who proceeds to tell me the next part will cost $150 to just "determine" if I am eligible & if I am that can go towards the surgery.... so what happened to a free consultation?? Also priced me out WAY higher than I felt was market & wouldnt budge. (The one in thing is that he did "wave the fee" for me to finish the consolation) I was there for 1.5 hrs and was being helped maybe half the time, the rest I sat around waiting; And only spoke to one person, who didnt appear to be any sort of eye doctor/nurse, the doctor came in for 3 mins max and basically said your a candidate and left.. I know this is not the best option as I went to a second consultation at a different location (which the Kleiman agent I spoke to kept trying to say wouldnt be better...?) AND THEY WERE. My ENTIREEEEEE consultation process was 100% free, no surprise $150 fee, and did the exact same thing and better. They also met me close to in the middle to be around the price point I was thinking. The staff at this place was also 100X more friendly and nice and welcoming. They provided me with a very informative video to watch as well. All around I cant express the vast difference of the two places. And I would not recommend them based on my second experience and the place I ended up choosing for my surgery.

Terrible new opthamologists, Dr. Ramsey. Has Surgeon God like attitude. I had back surgery and she treated me like a toddle because her explanation of not prescribing me lenses for reading after being dilated wasnt making sense to me. She told be to to go CVS and buy their cheap reading glasses. Hmm... I dont know, you come in to get an eye exam for eyeglasses, but youre told instead to go buy the CVS reading glasses. She belittled me, yelled at me and lost her temper with me even though I told her I was under heavy medication and had just had double lumbar fusion back surgery 2 weeks ago. Told me to be grateful I wasnt being charged $100.00 extra dollars because my near-sightedness was 20/20 and most patients who arent aware are being charged $100.00 for unnecessary additional eye testing even though they are 20/20 and dont need any of those extra tests. These people fool you into going through those tests and she admitted that they always complain to her. She said she is a Sugeon and not an eye doctor who checks peoples eyes for glasses. She was only there on Thursdays because the optometrist who does check for glasses is off on Thursdays. We ran out of there as fast as we could. Be AWARE!

Had cataract surgery six months ago and have black semi circles on out side edges of both eyes. Left is so dark and large it effects my vision. Follow up exams have not resulted in any explanation from Dr. Evangelista. In addition to this concern, at no time before surgery did any MD in his practice consult with me about the procedure or recommended lens for cataract replacement. Day of surgery, over heard a nurse talking that he had 45 procedures on the day of my surgery. My eye sight is worse than before surgery. Wearing glasses not needed before surgery. Found out later from a second opinion OD that in addition to above described issue the ODs in Evangelistas practice failed to diagnosis astigmatism and weak muscle conditions affecting my sight. Had to replace all lens recommended by Kleiman/Evangelista staff. In addition to being charged for meeting to discuss problem, no fault of mine, I also lost the money I paid for their recommended prescriptions. Wish I had never gone to them for surgery.

I went in for LASIK on Thursday with Dr. Ramsey. She and her assistant had excellent bedside manner. She first explained the procedure very thoroughly and prepared me on what to expect. She also talked to me during the surgery, letting me know when my vision was going to blur and when to expect pressure, etc. It helped to ease my nerves and was overall a pleasant experience. Dr. Ramsey was very polite, knowledgeable, and I was, in no way, treated like a "toddle." There was the expected discomfort and blurred vision immediately after the surgery, but two days later and I can see perfectly! I am so grateful for this experience!

What a "Class Act!" Not only was everyone SO very polite, offering beverages and cheery conversation, but the Technicians and Doctor were so professional and helpful. (Not to mention all of the cute turquise-blue matching blouses and beautifully decorated lobby.) And, if you think that this is some kind of "promo," you are mistaken. I came in with a terrible eye infection, afraid I was going to lose my vision entirely, so I was not expecting to have a great time. I was pleasantly surprised! Good job! I wish all businesses were run so wonderfully.

R. Rajabali: I had my cataract surgery by Dr. Evangelista. It was a fantastic experience. The staff is very polite and knowledgable. My concerns and questions were answered before surgery. They even offer payment plan by CareCredit which is helpful. My special thanks to Jeri Vaughn and Alex. They are wonderful people and always helpful and cheerful mood. I also want to Thank Nurse Rhonda at your Arlington Office during my Surgery process, she is a wonderful and caring person. Overall best experience and will always recommend to others.

staff is nice but after my consultation my eyes were dilated for 2 days. After speeching me over 15 minutes about lasik, cost etc ....I happened not to be a good candidate because of some numbers that the doctor forgot to read. If you have that much experience why cant you gather all the infos before talking to a potential client on a first consultation.

Ive been here several times. The staff is always attentive, and the doctors are friendly and dont make me feel dumb for asking 100 questions. Oh, and the place is really nice inside, definitely not your typical doctors office. It doesnt hurt that its right by Whiskey Cake too :-)

I took my wife in for an eye exam and Dr. Evangelista and his staff were incredible... Professional, personable, and knowledgeable. If you need LASIK in Dallas, this is hands down the only choice I would recommend to all my family and friends.

My experience with surgery was fair. My follow up care was poor and when I called after surgery one day past 90 days with a problem I was turned away!. You are shuttled in and out like cattle.
