Helpful, professional, beneficial, affordable--- About 4 years ago I began having serious acid reflux, accompanied by pain while exercising, which I had diagnosed a hiatal hernia. A hiatal hernia is basically when part of your stomach gets pushed above your diaphram, and food and acid from your stomach enters your esophagus (throat).I was given several different medications for the acid reflux, none of which worked. Normal daily habits, and playing sports became very uncomfortable. I changed my diet significantly to start digesting food better, by eating more raw food, etc. However I could only eat very small amounts of food without my hernia being pushed up, and still felt uncomforable. I found out about Dr. Goldberg while researching videos about Hiatal Hernias. His video made a lot of sense, and he was talking about things that took me years to figure out, through my own research. What Dr. Goldberg was saying in YouTube videos made sense, so I decided to give chiropractic a shot. After a few treatments from Dr. Goldberg I noticed myself feeling much more comfortable while exercising, and I could eat normal sized meals comfortably. I feel a significant improvement in my health after visiting Dr. Goldberg and look forward to continuing the improvement of my health, and getting back to feeling 100% like I used to when I was younger. I would recommend Dr Goldberg, because his chiropractic helped me significantly. Also, he is very knowledgeable about a number of health issues, If you have any ailments that you think could be related to chiropractic, I would check him out. Also, I did not have health coverage for this, and paid out of my own pocket. Dr. Goldbergs prices were very reasonable, and much less expensive then other chiropractors I have visited, and paid out of pocket for.

I have to agree with previous reviewers concerning Wellness Associates. I bought a Groupon for the center which included two massages and an evaluation. Here is how the deal appeared in text, "Choose Between Two Options $29 for a 60-minute massage and a chiropractic evaluation (a $140 value) $49 for two 60-minute massages and a chiropractic evaluation (a $220 value)." I made an appointment and while sitting in the waiting room became slightly nervous about the chiropractic evaluation. I have only a very slight need for adjustments and could hear Dr. Goldbergs enthusiasm with other patients ("Drink Aloe Vera!" "MD stands for more diseases!"). I considered skipping the evaluation and asked the receptionist if I could not have the evaluation and just get the massage. I was told the evaluation was part of the Groupon and that I could just tell Dr. Goldberg that my style is a little more reserved. Unfortunately, as soon as I left the facility, my insurance was immediately billed $110 for the evaluation that I definitely thought was covered by the Groupon. The business told my insurance that they explained the billing services to me, which they definitely did not as I was taken by total surprise to get the final fee of $290 which included the x-rays that I also did not have an option to get. The massages were amazing, but they are short and in the basement. Even at $85 I might consider getting another one some day, but now I just feel so scammed that I cant even consider ever going back. Groupon refunded my original purchase price, but this was all they could do. Alas...

I started seeing Dr. Goldberg in April after a back injury in January. I was in so much pain; I couldnt sit, stand or leave the house, I laid in bed with a heating pad on at least 3 days a week. As weve all been taught, I saw my PCP who sent me to a neurologist who sent me to an orthopedic surgeon. I had x-rays, blood work, an EMG and 3 MRIs (my insurance company loves me). The ultimate outcome according to all these doctors was, I had herniated discs. AND the best course of action would be muscle relaxers and immediately starting steroid epidurals for pain at a pain clinic. Other than that, according to my PCP this is totally AGE related (no joke).I am 61 years young, have a child in college, active, have a life I want to enjoy and do not have one foot in the grave! My brother in Florida has preached SOT chiropractic for years and I paid no attention. Dr. Goldberg was really my last resort (sorry Doc). I have to say that after seeing Dr. Goldberg for 3-4 weeks, I could actually sit, bend, walk my dog, go to a movie, all the "normal" things we do everyday, that I really couldnt do. I was actually getting my LIFE back! I am so thankful that I decided to see Dr. Goldberg, and quite honestly do not know physically how I would be at this point if I hadnt. I dont take medications and am so happy I found someone who knows that the body can HEAL itself without filling it up with drugs! Thank You, thank you , thank you. Heather Stern-Novak

Dr. Goldberg has made a strong impression in my life. He has advised me how to maintain a healthy diet, good posture, and of course, a pain free back. He begins by taking x rays and noting the chief complaints of the patient. The next visit he will explain your situation, and the steps needed to begin proper treatment. From that point on, he will gently begin aligning your body, and advice the correct positions and exercise routines for you. Dr. Goldberg has also relieved my sinus pressure, and congestion through advised remedies and procedures. I have suffered from chronic sinusitis for several years, and this was the first relief I ever had. He has taught me that with proper alignment through my body and spine, I have better circulation. With proper circulation, the body can heal, and perform proficiently. Dr. Goldberg has also treated my scar, which is from a severe laceration through my tendon in my thumb. In addition to this, he has relieved my pain from the nerve endings, and has improved my scar discoloration incredibly. If you are suffering from body pain, where ever it may be, give Dr. Goldberg a try. The building is very inviting, and in addition to himself, his staff, Kayla and Elaine are the friendliest people I have ever met. The three of them remember their patients personally and treat you like family. I have never been so impressed with service in my life. Thank you Dr. Goldberg!

Dr. Goldberg is the WORST!!! How can anyone in their right mind take this man seriously?!? I went because Groupon had an amazing massage deal, but you had to have a chiropractic consultation as part of said deal. The minute I walked into his office for the unwanted consult, I couldnt get a word in edgewise. Before I knew it, he was taking X-rays (without asking if I was pregnant, might I add), and it became pretty evident that he was all about my insurance money and not much else. This guy shamelessly self-promoted his practice THE ENTIRE TIME, bashing medical doctors and cracking tasteless Jewish jokes. The massage was fantastic, but not enough to make me buy into the whole dog and pony show. I began having back pain over the weekend (and I have NEVER suffered from back pain), so I started to reconsider as the location is convenient, and my husband has had a lot of positive results from various chiropractors. I went the following week to hear feedback about my spine and have my first adjustment. Again, the man never stopped talking about how clients rave about him and how he hasnt taken a Tylenol since the 80s (whatever). I left feeling fine, but I had so much back pain later that evening, that I had trouble sleeping. My husband informed me that this is NOT NORMAL after a chiropractic adjustment.. You can judge for yourself.
