They talk a good game but fail to deliver on anything. This should have been a relatively simple procedure. I chipped one tooth on a skiing trip. Because it was a front tooth, I wanted the work to be good. Since Dr. Lewis advertises to be so good, I was hoping his services would live up to the promises. Not even close. I wish I would have gone to my normal dentist. I would have saved many thousands of dollars, received better dental work, had the work done in a reasonably timely manner, and received at least mediocre service. Unfortunately for me, I paid way too much for sloppy, slow dentistry and horrible service from the admin side. Oh, and they overbilled me for a service I did not receive, and to this day I have not been refunded the overbilled amount. Not only did they grind my tooth down far too low (it was just a small chip), but it took them over 10 tries to mount the first temporary veneer. I say first because it came out when I was traveling overseas and presented a professional disaster. The only thing it seemed that they took care and time to complete was taking photos of the tooth and for Dr. Lewis to make a pitch for me to spend over $15,000 to replace my teeth with veneers so I would have a whiter smile. I am so happy I turned this down because I likely would not have had my teeth until sometime in the year 2023. The first appointment was just for them to try to sell me services I made clear I did not want and receive the world’s most expensive cleaning. Then, the second appointment lasted over five hours because they made error after error. And the resulting temporary was not bonded correctly even after more than ten tries! When I went back in after waiting for a month for my permanent veneer, they again had made a mistake. The tooth did not even fit! So then I had to go home and wait for another month(!) while they remade the tooth correctly. Then they made an appointment and messed up the date by moving the appointment to the specific date that would be most inconvenient. They tried to blame me, my wife, my travel, and anything under the sun -- other than taking responsibility. This is not a dentist or practice that I trust. And the fact that they are the most expensive and arrogant practice in town makes it even worse. Save yourself some time, money, and significant headaches by avoiding them. I will say that the end result is acceptable. Not great, or even good, but mediocre. For the cost and trouble, it was extremely disappointing. By the way, the dentist recommends against soda but provides candy and sugar soda in the waiting area.

There is not enough good things I can say about Dr Lewis, his expertise, his practice, his professional integrity and his staff. My teeth were badly stained before I was born due to my mothers use of tetracycline while pregnant. They thought I was an illness ! All my life I had dreamed of having beautiful, white teeth instead of my stained but otherwise healthy and straightened teeth. My regular dentist initially told me about veneers and once I made the decision to go ahead my husband and I researched the experts in the field and dr Lewis and his practice was the one we decided on. I have been glad many times since then. Dr Lewis and his staff care for his patients safety and comfort is unparalleled. His dedication and the many hours he spent in making sure his work was absolutely perfect is priceless. He is truly an artist and has the right touch in addition to being a highly experienced and trained professional on his field. I consider him the Michelangelo of teeth! The training of his staff is impecable. Roxana, who will not only clean and polish but also teach you and advise on the best way to keep your teeth healthy. Dr. Fisher who has a wonderful touch and took care of me on an emergency basis once and did a great job. Cristine who manages the office efficiently and seemingly effortless she not only remembers the clients, what they need, solves all their logistical problems, answers all their questions and concerns and generally makes me feel somehow like both a VIP and a dear relative. I now live in Central America and travel twice a year to get my teeth taken care by Dr Lewis and his excellent staff. They are worth it. Please dont misconstrue this glowing review to be biased or that I am being rewarded in anyway. My teeth costs a fortune! I spent plenty of time and money on them. My reward is the excellent results I got on my investment and the enjoyment I derive daily from my decision. Getting veneers with Dr Lewis has been one of the best investments I have ever made ! I love my smile !!! I look at myself in the mirror everyday and I love what I see! Everybody compliments me on my smile and they enhance my personal image more than any jewel, car, outfit etc. I could ever have. I wear it 24/7 and its mine forever and ever to keep. They dont bother me, I eat what I want, I take great care of them and they make me feel better than a million dollars would be able to. I hope this review helps you make a good decision.

Before I moved to Houston in 2012, I had two root canals done on my two front teeth. However, before I could get crowns they both broke off. The appearance my mouth had, made me a prisoner in my own house. I refused to smile or meet anyone publicly if possible. While getting ready for church on Sunday mornings, I would watch the Best Docs program. Dr. Guy Lewis just stood out to me as the dentist I would try to get to do my major dental work. I contacted his office, and from the moment I entered his office, everyone was exceptionally pleasant to me. I had a huge fear of going to the dentist, but that was quickly put to rest after Dr. Lewis told me they were going to make me smile again, and stated Dr. David Fisher would be doing my work. Words cannot express the happiness this office has brought into my life. I am smiling so much now, that my friends are joking constantly telling me to please close my mouth! And you know what, I dont have to anymore! I have a new smile and thanks to the entire staff at The Texas Center for Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry I can mingle and jingle with all of my friends and family without the embarrassment of having front teeth missing. I personally want to thank Sarah, Susan, Ashley, Tracey, Ginger, Tara, Dr. Guy Lewis, Dr. David Fisher, and all of the other names I didnt mention, for being so professional and courteous to me. And you know what, there was NO pain!! I wasnt expecting that, it just came with the procedure!!! I truly love these people, and highly recommend this office to any and all who need cosmetic surgery!!! Wishing only the best for each and everyone of them.

Being new to the area I tried this office for a teeth cleaning as I had not had one in over a year. For the past 20 years I have gone twice a year and have almost flawless exams. The first thing the dentist did was tell me all the things cosmetically wrong with my teeth and all of the things he could do to fix them. They were pretty pushy about it. It started with probing questions from the hygienist and then was a full court press by the dentist. This dentist then tried to convince me I had 10 cavities and one was so bad that I was going to have to have my tooth capped. He even showed me x-rays that he claimed showed the damage. This was shocking due to the fact that I am pretty meticulous about my dental hygiene, felt no pain, had not changed any of my habits in the past year and had pretty much always had spotless checkups. I decided to get a second opinion from a dentist in Sterling Ridge. Not sure what the difference is in their equipment or their training but she took the same x-rays and inspected my teeth. She could not find a single cavity and exclaimed I was blessed with healthy teeth, I was diligent about my dental health or a combination of both. Needless to say I will take my chances with someone other than Dr Guy or Dr Fisher. Dont let all the pictures of the sports stars that are on their wall fool you into thinking they provide some sort of superior care. Go to these guys at your own risk!
