This place is a joke.... Firstly, I asked BEFORE even scheduling a day and time to come in, if I would be able to use nitrous gas for my 2 extractions while being 7 1/2 months pregnant. I had already gotten the approval from my prenatal doctor before calling the dentist and clearly explained that to her. The receptionist said YES. I was so excited and quickly booked my appointment for that upcoming Friday. Upon arriving for my appointment, I am told that they do not even have me on the schedule for that day. So they make me wait while they see if they can fit me in. While sitting in the office, they ask me to fill out a form giving total consent to the dentist to do whatever he wants in my mouth without mentioning it to me first.....uhhhhh, thats totally scary! I would like to have a say so in what goes on in my mouth first before any procedures are done. I scratched that part out on the form and wrote that I do not give him this consent.... Finally, they allow me to go back and get xrays done before seeing Dr. Andrew Johnson. The dental assistant was very nice and good at doing the xrays which I do appreciate. But as soon as Dr. Johnson arrives, he tells me that he would not allow me to have nitrous due to insurance purposes (which is total nonsense, and merely his own personal opinion). My own prenatal Doctor has already given the approval, and actually uses it in the office during labor... He also seemed detoured when I declined wanting to have root canals instead of the extractions....obviously he doesnt research outside of his text books as to why root canals are not only dangerous for your health but also guaranteed for future problems down the road... which Im sure he loves, because then you have to go back and pay him more money down the road when complications arise. Dr. Andrew Johnson, expected me to go through with 2 molar extractions without any sedative, except local anesthesia which doesnt even work (I have already tried) and even mentioning that I would also probably deal with them breaking apart while he did the extraction....It was like he was trying to scare me into going through with his 10 times more expensive and dangerous option of having a root canal. I was so upset for them wasting my time even booking this appointment when they knew all along they were not going to follow through with the procedure I wanted for myself. It is my mouth and my choice as to what I want performed in my mouth. If you are not able to do that, its fine...But at least let me know before I book the appointment and waste my time coming into your office!

It had been a few years since I have last seen a dentist, so needless to say I was a little anxious to get the metaphorical "torture" done and over with. I had been referred by my girlfriends family to give Snow Country Dental a try for a cleaning and consultation. From what I remembered about the typical cleanings was nothing but pain and agony, so was expecting the same regardless of who was doing said cleaning. Nothing could have been further from my experience with Snow Country Dental! I was greeted warmly (which for a 7 am appointment was completely unexpected) and after a few minutes of filling out new patient forms, I was promptly escorted to the examination chair. I was pleasantly surprised by how gentle they worked, and the incredible results I received. My cleaning left my mouth feeling unbelievably fresh, like starting over with new teeth! Not only were they professional, but also welcoming and down to earth people, explaining everything in simple terminology, answering every question I had. On top of all this, they went above and beyond by completing my mold casting for whitening in the same day so I could get it before going on vacation that next day! I will not wait years to visit the dentist again, not with how much I enjoyed my visit at Snow Country Dental Care in Park City! Thank you guys!

Had been a patient with Snow Country when they were corporate owned . They had challenges with Dentist turnover and personnel. So was a little frustrated to say the least. First time there under the new ownership but a big improvement . Dr Johnson is a good young dentist that seems to know his stuff, has all the latest knowledge and techniques and above all is on time! His front office staff is very efficient and patient friendly. I had an old man brain fart and showed up late for an appointment after they were gracious enough to accommodate me. I will be going back.

What a great experience. I dont really like going to the dentist in fact it had been 4 years..:/ and I was so relaxed and happy I chose them. Kelli was a wonderful and thorough hygienst and never complained with me as a patient - yrs without cleaning. Dr Johnson was nice and told me what I needed but without insurance he came up with a solid plan for what could wait and what shouldnt. **** If you get the Park city coupon book at you get a free electric toothbrush and exams! It was a $120 savings...so easy.

From the extremely friendly receptionist, to the thorough exam and cleaning i received from the hygienist, to Dr. Carusos final exam, everything was fantastic. I have been looking for a great dentist in the area and i have finally found one! They have the newest most high tech equipment and Dr. Caruso was highly knowledgeable and even gave me some exercises to do to help with my TMD pain, then scheduled a follow up in case im still having trouble and need further dental work to alleviate the pain.

I have been a patient with Snow Country Dental going on almost 2yrs now and saw Dr Caruso sad to see him leave but happy hes with his family in North Carolina. The office has transitioned well adding in the new dentist Dr Howarth. I had to bring my lil one with me to my visit and the girls up front kept her happy and busy. Thanks Lauren and Brittany. Dr Howarth was very pleasant and professional. He did a great job on my crown. Would recommend this office to anyone that needs a dentist.

What I like the most about Snow Country Dental is the staff, from the time I walk in the office and recieve a friendly greeting, to when I leave and am wished a good day, everyone is cheery and friendly. I also appreciate the hygienists talking through the steps of the cleaning as shes working, and the dentist giving a thorough explanation of my x-rays. I came to Snow Country Dental on a recommendation and would recommend it to anyone.

Fortunately my visit only involved x-rays and teeth cleaning, which was made easy, comfortable and professionally completed. What I appreciated was Dr. Johnson taking the time to come in and visit with me, as well as personally check my teeth. His easy, comfortable, confident manner put any concerns aside and I left knowing that if and when I have a dental concern, hell be easy to talk to and I feel assured hell take care of it.

Scheduled a Cleaning and when i got there they started Perio exam and said all these things and that it would cost 2000 bucks and after i said i would need to talk to my husband they said we were done, never got the cleaning and was bad service. i think they just wanted my and ins money. ill see what the next place says. Bottom line i went in for a simple cleaning and left with a 2000 dollar quote. and no cleaning.
