My family utilized Dr. Kenneth Crump for around two years before we finally cut ties. Dr. Crump is not a good doctor. He is rude, and chooses to instruct his patients through sensationalism and fear rather than genuine care for a patients well-being . He would choose to prescribe all kinds of medications, rather than promote a healthy lifestyle and assist in good-living. I would venture a guess that there is some sort of monetary gain in him for this. He literally started my last visit with this statement, "Well, youre going to have a heart attack and die by the time youre 50, if we dont get you on medications". This was based on some non-fasting blood work that Id had done about six months prior to the visit, and, despite the fact, that Id began to exercise daily and changed my diet. This was also despite the fact, that Id set up the appointment to discuss something completely different from said blood-work. He didnt care why Id setup the visit, only that I get on "medication". And, apparently, only medication could save me, not exercise or nutrition. It all seemed shady to me. Its also important to note that wed gone through the same exercise the year before, except I had the follow-up visit for my blood-work with another doctor in the same office, as Dr. Crump was out on that day. She also told me that I was not at a level that warranted medication, again, despite what Crump had said. Remember, this was a doctor in the same office. I soon found a new doctor, and showed him the same blood-work, he said that I was at a "moderate risk" for heart attack as I get older based on those stats. I informed him that Id been working-out for 30 minutes, four days-a-week, for the last four months. He proceeded to tell me that the blood work numbers should normalize as I improve my exercise routine and diet. He actually gave me some pointers on how to improve my diet and exercise, he actually listened to me, and seemed to care about my well-being. It was something I hadnt felt in nearly two years with Crump. We were never comfortable with him, and remained with him for two years in the hopes that we could build a relationship of trust with him overtime. It never happened. The relationship, in fact, grew worse as time went on. I would say, "Maybe we caught him on an off-day?" But, after two years of the same, I have come to the conclusion that everyday is an off-day for Dr. Kenneth Crump. PS. Beware of the "co-pay" fairy with him. Good news or bad, you have to come in and talk to him to get information. One time, I went in for a follow-up visit only to have him come into the room for about 30 seconds and say, "youre fine", and then get up and leave. Really, Dr. Crump? You couldnt have told me that over the phone and save me $20? Oh, thats right, itd be free, and we cant have anything for free, we gotta have that co-pay!

Pissed. I ran out of my prescription (my fault), so I called my pharmacy. I was originally told I would have more refills, but calling my pharmacy, they said they did not have any from my doctor. The pharmacy had tried calling Crossroads to see if I had any more refills, but never heard anything back. So, I tried calling them myself. I got transferred to a medical assistant who said she would check on it and call me back, though she never did. Called again on the weekend, left message. Didnt get a call back yet by Monday, so I called again and got transferred from the guy who answered the phone, only to have it go to voicemail again. Called once again, and finally got to talk to someone. She asked me what the prescription was and what it was for (seemed irrelevant and personal), and told me that I did not have any refills, and that, by law, I could not get even a partial refill until I see a doctor and that I could only get 3 months worth of my prescription before needing to see my doctor again (contrary to what I was told when I last saw my doctor). At this point, I am starting to feel very out of sorts from lack of meds in my system. Her attitude was patronizing and not helping whatsoever. I could only get in at 2pm the next day, which I had to be okay with, considering the state Ive been in. Long story short, its a pain to even get a hold of someone, and most of the people I talked to were worse than useless. It may have taken this long to get a refill anyway, considering I ran out just before the weekend, but what I had to go through just to even set an appt. was absurd.

I do not like to write bad reviews, but I have to speak up about our experience with this office. We really like Petes friendly personality and the way he takes the time to listen to his patients. However, we have had a LOT of problems with getting things done. When we need a prescription renewed or a new one called in, it takes a very long time. My husband takes medication that he really needs to take every day. He had to go without it for two weeks one time, with some very serious side effects, because it took the office three weeks to call it in, despite the fact that my husband called the office several times. The last time I needed a renewal, I called the office, and the receptionist told me it would be done by the end of the day. Nope. I called the next day, and she said the same thing. Nope. After a week I began to call every hour until it was finally called in. We also had some time-sensitive papers for our son that needed to be signed by an M.D. There is only one M.D., Dr. Crump, for both the Crossroads and Lakeview offices. The papers had been at the Crossroads office for a week without being signed. We were told that Dr. Crump would be in the Crossroads office on Thursday, so we went into the office to make sure he signed the papers. The receptionist told us he had sneaked out of the office early, despite the fact that there was a large stack of papers that he had left unsigned, and that he was leaving town and would not be back for two weeks. Although we like Pete, we are going to need to find a new doctors office. We need an office we can depend on.

Very unprofessional when it came to handling my tests and results. I will not go back to them again. I asked to be tested for Zika after going on a cruise to the Bahamas, and they didnt know what to do--but they took an extra blood sample anyway. They then called me a week or so later telling me they couldnt run the Zika test, because the lab would need me to go through the CDC to get permission. I called the CDC, turns out that wasnt true. Crossroads said they would call me back...and that never happened. I called to fix some billing issues they messed up on, and followed up on the Zika test, and they told me the same thing about the CDC needing permission...meaning they never followed up on the Zika test, and never got the issue resolved. Very disappointing, and very unprofessional. Im giving them 2 stars, as the staff was nice, but they just seemed inexperienced. I also never got to meet with Kenneth Crump, as I found out he was out of town once I got there.
