I have been to a number of chirporactors over the years with various methods. I usually do NOT like chiropractors that use a force/cracking method, especially on my neck. I found Tinnen Chirporactic by chance when looking into a Groupon offer (for a different service). Since the chiropractic office I was going to at that time had fallen to an unacceptable level (Expensive, not child-friendly & quite the arrogant staff) I decided to give Tinnen a try. I am SO glad I did. I see Deverie & am very happy. She was the first chirporactor to tell me that the "knots" I thought I had in my upper back were really ribs that were "out". Both her & Rob are very nice, accomodating to my crazy schedule, & really try to help me beyond just the adjustments with exercise recommendations & touched on a couple of nutritional things. I like that she offers me advice & options without expectations. It is up to me to choose to accept her advice or not and no judgement is passed or condescending attitude exibited if I dont. This has not always been my experience with other chiropractors. The adjustment cost is affordable as well, which is a real plus for me. I can go back more than once a month if I need to without going broke.

Tinnen Family Chiropractic changed my life! Being that I like to take my health into my own hands, I was reluctant to pay professionals to help with my back pain. After hearing from friends how much time the Tinnens spend working with their clients on alignment, nutrition, and other DIY approaches to health, I figured I would give it a try. Since my first appointment, I have never looked back! Seeing the Tinnens was one of the best decisions I made all year! My lower back pain is almost completely healed, my leg that used to stick out when I walked was realigned after just a couple adjustments, and what I thought were chronic knots in my back, which I had suffered from for over 5 years, were actually just rib joints requiring realignment that have not returned after the first adjustment! I highly recommend Tinnen Family Chiropractic to anyone even considering a readjustment. Start feeling better now! ***Update*** After three years, I still highly recommend Tinnen Family Chiropractic!

I have been treated by several chiropractors over the course of my life, some of whom were very helpful and effective, and some were not. When I moved to the Madison area, I was concerned about being able to find a really good practitioner. Fortunately, I began going to Tinnen Family Chiropractic and feel very blessed to do so. Dr Deverie is very capable and knowledgeable, and, in addition, is sincerely interested in improving the health of her patient. I deeply appreciate her approach which includes but goes beyond a spinal adjustment. She adjusts the body literally from head to toe and offers advice on specific exercises. I have seen her for nutritional counseling as well. She has a very comprehensive knowlege of nutrition needs and how best to meet them. When I leave her office, I feel refreshed and uplifted. Although I have not been treated personally by Robert Tinnen, I am confident in highly recommending Tinnen Chiropractic, and am very grateful to be acquainted with them.

It’s been over a year since I found Tinnen's chiropractic to help a bad neck injury. I had been previously going to another practice in town for months and didn't feel like I was making improvements. I liked that Tinnen’s is a family business. After my first visit I felt a tremendous relief in my body. Robert understood the problems I was describing and was able to make immediate adjustments to help with the pain as well as suggestions for exercises and dietary changes to help strengthen my body. In the time I have been working with Robert he has helped me through neck and back pain that I’ve struggled with my whole life as a result of a hip replacement. I trust his advice completely and truly appreciate his holistic approach to body, mind and dietary health. Robert encouraged me to try removing gluten from my diet when I was struggling with stomach problems. I have been happier and gluten free for 2 months now. Thanks Robert!

What has improved in my life with Tinnen Family Chiropractic care: 1. neck pain relief 2. movement of joints=I could walk again after muscles tightened so much that taking a step prevented me from walking 3. when I look at pictures or others I notice I have the best posture out of the crowd 4. I have visited Deverie Tinnen for help with a very sore back and numb thumb. She made a HUGE difference in a short amount of time. I have seen many chiropractors and Deverie is thorough and gentle, with a mixture of techniques (like activator treatments). It is especially helpful that she has experience and tips for nursing moms like me, which happens to exacerbate my back troubles. Another bonus is the child friendly clinic setting - which is the only way its possible to be seen for treatment! I highly recommend Tinnen Family Chiropractic!

Saw Dr. Rob in March for back issues. Appointment was 1 hour + long. Was never given insurance pricing prior to appointment. Now between my daughter & I for 1 appointment each, we have a $500 bill. Worse, they waited 9 months to send the bill - right at Christmas time. 1st of all he needs to wear deodorant & shave. Very unprofessional of him. 2nd, prices need to be discussed prior to service. That is OUTRAGEOUS! Every other chiropractor Ive been to offers a cash price of $40-$50 per session. BEWARE of high prices!

Deverie Tinnen is one of the kindest practitioners (of any kind) that I have ever met. Not only are her hands magical, but she has an IN DEPTH knowledge of the body. Any time she presses somewhere, and it hurts, she is able to explain, not only which muscle, (bone, ligament or whatever) it is, but also what muscles are attached! This is a very Earth conscious, open-minded kind of place that allows me to manage my pain with little to no medication. PLEASE do yourself a favor and give The Tinnens a try :)

I saw Dr. Rob for several years when I lived in Madison. He always had an excellent, gentle bedside manner. He was very thorough, and would always spend significantly more time with me than most other chiropractors that I had seen elsewhere. His treatment helped me to resolve issues which other chiropractors could not, including an immobilizing heal and hip pain/tension that had dogged me on and off for years. Hes the best Ive experienced in his profession, and I highly recommend him.

I love this place! First, when I went in, I was literally unable to move my neck and after the first visit really started to feel great. Its hard to believe actually. Two visits and Im perfectly fine. Its really amazing. He takes a lot of time and offered lots of advice to prevent this in the future. Also, I was late, twice, and he was very flexible and went the extra mile to make sure I got care. Very economical and effective. Highly recommend.
