Went into Islands Chiropractic with a really (understatement!) tight back, thinking a massage was all I needed. Following my massage, the Massage Therapist conferred with Dr Carlow, who generously offered to check out my situation on the spot. (Thanks!) He informed me that anyone who just had their back worked on for an hour shouldnt still be so tight (not the massage therapists fault, but my condition). I scheduled an apt to see him, and even after the first visit, I had incredible relief. In my particular case, my alignment was way off, so Ive been back to see him as often as I can, each time experiencing more/longer periods of relief. I am most excited that a strained muscle I was feeling in my arm (restricting mobility), that I was not sure of the cause, nor how to correct it was suddenly and instantly corrected after my 4th visit or so. I was extremely pleased to share with Dr Carlow, that I now have full mobility in that arm! Dr Carlow is also good to give at-home exercises and stretches to further the healing, and empowers me to ensure my success. Practiced faithfully, not only are they helpful, but they are also relaxing at the end of a long day. Furthermore, he has educated me on the correlations between proper alignment and good health in general. i.e. allergy relief, common infant ailments, such as ear infections, etc. Thank you Dr Carlow for your time and expertise. I happily and quickly would refer anyone experiencing any pain or reoccurring condition (i.e. allergies) to meet Dr Carlow.

I highly recommend Islands Chiropractic. Both my husband and I, as well as many of our neighbors, go to him for chiropractic care. He and his staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs. Dr. Carlow treats my husband for his moderate to severe scoliosis. I go to him for periodic adjustments for the effects of poor posture and repetitive stress. Islands Chiropractic also offers therapeutic massage. The massage therapists are very good at identifying and addressing the problem areas. After each visit to the chiropractor and or massage therapist, we find great relief from our discomfort.

Amazing results after just the first visit! I work with a laptop full-time and was putting myself in bad positions constantly. Last week I finally paid for it when I fell to the ground in pain because I had messed up something in my back/spine. It was torture to move, breathe, and especially drive. But after the first visit with Dr. Carlow, the pain was reduced to a dull murmur. After the second visit, it was barely noticeable at all! I highly recommend Dr. Carlow and his staff to everyone I know. Thank you for your help.

Im a Minnesotan who has had back problems for quite a while. The trip down here this past January made my back flair up-like I couldnt put my shoes on. I was referred to Dr. Dan Carlow by a friend. Its now time to go home and I am in good shape. I appreciated the way he worked with me in my treatments, that he has therapeutic massage available right there in the clinic, and that he has the equipment to strengthen, calm and stretch the muscles. I have been seeing Dr. Carlow for about 6 years now, always with great results. I like the fact that he not only works on the back and neck, but can also address other extremity joint issues as well. His massage therapists are very knowledgeable and are a great compliment to the chiropractic work. I have sent referrals to his office on more than one occasion and will continue to do so.
