Ive never had a bad experience with dental health facility before and the experience I had with Hi-tech was the first and it was horrible. I hate angry people and bad reviews but I think people need to know that its not always that great coming here. I decided to try this one because of all the great reviews. My experience started out with an abrasive receptionist. I didnt mind at the time because I had worked in customer service for years before having my daughter and became accustom to angry older women. I only mention her attitude because this isnt the last time in this narrative that she treats me poorly. The dental assistant was sweet and spoke to me for a bit but for the rest of the time it took to take my x-rays, she had a loud and long conversation with another assistant about another patient. It made me feel uncomfortable and ignored. When the Dr came in and started examining my teeth I discovered that one of my teeth was sensitive to the metal hook she was poking it with. When she saw me flinch and gasp after she poked it, she asked my if it hurt and poked it AGAIN and watched me flinch and gasp AGAIN. I wasnt able to answer her right away because the hook was still in my mouth. I wish she would have given me time to answer because that second poke was torture! I have always been sensitive when it comes to my teeth and going to the dentist. Ive never had to tell anyone about these feeling because dentists usually avoided the painful spots in my mouth if they could so this was extremely horrible for me. She poked at it again and then left without talking to me about what she saw. The entire time she was examining my mouth she was speaking to the assistant about what she saw in terms I didnt understand so it was surprising to me that she left in a hurry. After a wait the receptionist came in to give me the list of the work that the Dr suggested I needed. Cleaning and three fillings. she asked me what I wanted done and when I told her that I wanted it all done she. After another wait the Dr came in to do the cleaning. It started out with the assistant using the straw and hose and the Dr with the cleaning tool. When she went over my sensitive tooth it hurt more than before from all the prodding. I was thankful thought that they were going to do the fillings soon after so now that it was even more exposed it was more sensitive and painful. Part way through the cleaning the assistant left and the receptionist took her place. This wouldnt have bothered me if the receptionist knew what she was doing. Water started flying everywhere and running down my neck because she wasnt sucking it up. She kept looking away and wasnt paying attention to what she was doing. She kept lifting the straw further and further out of my mouth until she cut my gums at the top of my mouth with the edge of the straw. The Dr saw me flinch and stopped to ask what was wrong. The Dr kept asking me what was wrong but I couldnt answer because of all the tools in my mouth! I told them I had flinched because the receptionist had cut my gums and the receptionist replied by saying that she was trying to keep water out of my nose. I wouldve been nice to have gotten an apology instead of an excuse. Im not a dental assistant but Im pretty sure that youre supposed to keep the straw by the end of the small hose to suck the water up almost as soon as it comes out. To make a long story short, I was informed that they couldnt do my fillings that day and booked me two weeks out! I wish they would have told me before I came just to save me a lot of pain. My tooth was now exposed and painful after the cleaning. It didnt give me any problems before being poked so many time and then drilled on. I went to another dentist and they told me I DIDNT NEED FILLINGS! The Dr told me that I had nice teeth and wouldnt want to drill into them unless necessary. All I needed to do was use sensodyne! Im terrified to think of what they were going to do to me for no reason! No need to say I wont EVER be going back.

On a Sunday morning when I woke up out of my sleep with a horrific toothache Hi Tech Dental was the only office that was open and treating patients. From the moment I made my phone call Alicia was very warm and compassionate. She did not guarantee a time I would be seen however advised that I could come over and I would be seen as soon as their schedule would allow. Upon arriving I greeted by smiles. The wait I dreaded was no more then 5 mins. The team and Dr Allan were all very nice and explained everything to me where I could understand. I was in and out of the office within a total of 15 mins. I would recommend this office to anyone. Denise LeBlanc

I took my children on a Sunday which was awesome their hours of operation are amazing. But something extraordinary happened while I was there. I previously the night before woke up with a horrible toothache which turned into a swollen face . I have no dental insurance and when the Dr saw my face grew so concerned he saw me for free of charge . Thanks Dr Tin!! Also the staff are attentive and kind.

My family of 4 has been coming to High Tech Dentistry for 4 years and the service has always been excellent; Dr. Allen is a great doctor, he remembers and really cares about his patients. The whole team are always willing to answer any questions and to give you the best attention. The kids feel very at ease, and the playarea is a great addition to a great experience. Highly recommended!
