Theres never much to say about a dentist, its the dentist after all! If youre anything like me, youre going to hate going no matter where it is, but if youre anything like me, one trip to Sol Dental is all you need to never want to go anywhere else again. The office is clean, modern and lets you know as soon as you walk through the door that youre there for the absolute best care, at extremely affordable and reasonable prices. Dr. Jaclyn Haendel and her staff are compassionate, friendly, respectful, and they understand the most squeamish and the most scare among - they get that you dont want to be there, and its obvious their mission is to make you as comfortable as possible. Dr. Haendel will explain everything, step-by-step if thats what you want, and in one visit Ive learned more about dentistry then in my 25-years; without having it dumbed down, or made to feel like my questions are a hassle. I got 3 fillings just two-hours ago, and listen, Im writing this post as if I could walk in tomorrow - not discouraged, not forlorn, and not uncomfortable. I have bad teeth, and I take bad care of them - and over my lifetime thats led to no less then 30 fillings across at least a half dozen dentists, Ive felt every bad feeling you can feel in an office, and I still hate going, but Sol Dental is patient, at Sol Dental: I feel okay, and thats something Ive never felt at a dentists before. Id travel half the state to keep this dentist, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a fresh smile.

I will be honest, I went to the dentist today with pretty low expectations... I am not a wuss but something about the dentist just gives me the shakes. Well my girlfriend has been hinting for the last year that I need to go, you know how girlfriends do, because I get a little sting now and again in my teeth while eating. Anywho I booked an appointment at Sol Dental at the recommendation of my best friend, and walked through the doors today. First off, let me say, the office is awesome. Very clean and well kept. Kala, at the front, is great. Super friendly and charismatic... I was like oh hold up maybe this wont be so bad. Then I sat down and was kinda startled like little tiny hands were kneading my back like it was cookie dough, but then I realized it was a massage chair and I said man I could get used to this. Then the dentist gave me the remote to a Tv and a nice pair of shades to block the light... I thought they mistook me for a VIP or something but turns out they are this great to everyone. I had some work done, the dentist explained it to me in a very easy and understandable way. She is great at letting you watch your programs (Moana movie for me today) but still informing you whats going on! I actually enjoyed the visit as much as you can avoid the dentist and definitely dont dread my next appointment! Thanks Kala and Dr H, I was very amazed at the patient care!

Hello: Fist thing, I rarely write reviews but this experience was rare..I was in Tempe, AZ for an important meeting and had a Crown come out, of course right in the front! It was 5PM and I was desperately searching for help. When I called Sol Dental and spoke with Kala the office manager she politely listened and unlike immediately talking cost (Like the first two dentists I spoke with) she was more concerned with helping me. Next thing I know I am speaking with Dr. Haendal (Jacklyn) as she introduced herself, she said nothing about being closed, or close to closing, just "when can you be here"? I was there in 15 MIN..in a chair and the most incredibly kind two people I have ever met went to work prepping and restoring the Crown..I was so pleased and relieved to be able and present myself in front of my client the following day. Though the cost was more than reasonable, this was NOT their motivating factor...it was their compassion for serving and helping others and this was quite apparent and in world we live in today, what a refreshing experience. If I lived in Tempe, i think I would have my teeth cleaned once a month! I will never forget this experience and every morning I see this tooth I think of them and reminded to get this review done. Absolutely amazing! Dr. Haendel is so extraordinarily helpful. She will address any questions or concerns you have - no matter how ridiculous you might think they are! I was pretty embarrassed to admit I was making my own toothpaste (part of a naturopathic kick) having heard that dentists will scoff at that sort of thing. Dr. Haendel was NOT judgmental in the least. In fact, she proceeded to do research on natural toothpastes, and in the two visits Ive had since then has offered me sample of a natural toothpastes she found. I cant think of another dentist or healthcare professional who would put the same time and effort into an individual patients needs. On top of everything else, theres wonderfully friendly staff, massage back chairs, and TVs for during your cleaning. I moved to Flagstaff for a year, but came back to Phoenix for dental check-ups because this place is SO worth it! Sol Dental, you guys rock!

This is an awesome office. It is very clean and organized. The staff is great. They really love their work and it is obvious that they want you to enjoy coming to the dentist. Dr H does a great job explaining what she is doing and is honest about what work you really need to do and what can wait. She really cares that your teeth are healthy and that you have a great experience. Her assistant is amazing too, she seems to know what the dentist wants before she even needs it so things go very smooth and they chat with you and make it as fun as the dentist can be... plus they have TVs in the rooms so you can take your mind off where you are if you need to. Overall I would really recommend this place to anyone who needs a dentist!

Dr.Jaclyn Haendel, and Kayla were amazing!!!! 5 stars isnt hardly enough stars to show my gratitude and apprcation for being able to see at such a short notice. From the moment I made my first initial call Kayla greeted me over the phone with a smile, happy to help and eager to be able to get me out pain. The office is not only beautiful but very relaxing. Dr. Haendel made me feel at ease, and I must say had the best side manner I have ever experienced as a patient. I would not hesitate to recommend Solar Dental, I will be sending all my friends and family here. I found a new dental family. Thank you Sol Dental. Your team rocks! !!!!!!

I had a great experience at Sol Dental. All of the staff, from the front desk associate, to the dental hygienist, to the dentist were super nice, attentive, friendly and through. I like that there were no surprises and very affordable for the quality of work. I had 3 fillings and a cleaning done and got to relax in their massage chair while watching my favorite show. Another really nice fact is the dentist personally called me a few hours later to see how I was doing. Thats awesome service! I will definitely be back.
