I appreciated getting in quickly to see a NP to remove a mole that was scraped and irritated. However, after they removed the mole, which was just underneath my buttock and inside the thigh, the nurse assistant put one tiny band aid over a fairly large incision site and sent me on my way. By the time I got to the super market I had bled through my pants, onto the leather of my new car seat. I got home and my husband and I had to scramble to find gauze and some large bandages to create a pressure bandage -- I bled through one more pair of pajama pants too before we got it to stop. I was in cancer treatment for three years and during that time was treated by many NPs whose work was of the highest caliber. This NP should have overseen the bandaging of the site and not left it to this young, and frankly very inexperienced nurse to put one tiny finger band aid on the site. I called the office and told them what happened. I later received a call from the NP giving me a lecture on how to remove blood from clothing and leather. What she needed to do was apologize for her utter incompetence. Furthermore, after every derm procedure Ive ever had that involved bleeding, I have always been sent home with extra bandages -- I was poorly bandaged and sent home with nothing! Spectrum Drs. get your professionalism in order please.

This was very difficult to post stars. The back office gets 5 stars for their professionalism, being courteous, and efficiency. However, the front off gets 2 stars. We checked in at 1:00 pm for a 1:20 appointment. My father is on oxygen via prongs at 4 liters. We had all of our documents downloaded and filled out as we were directed. The front office took his insurance cards and scanned them and told it would be just a few minutes. After seeing at least 6 people taken to the back for their appointment I was quite puzzled. I looked at my fathers oxygen taken that started at 2000 was not at less than 500. I went and explained that we had a 1:20 appointment and it was now 2:30. The front office explained that my fathers chart got separated and was missed. No excuse, we were sitting in front of the front office desk. I was horrified because we ran out of oxygen getting home from his appointment. The office does not have oxygen that can be used by clients if this sort of problem occurs.

My appointment was easy to arrange and I was actually taken back to the examining room early. The PA who saw me was excellent as was her assistant. This was a first visit after 10 years with a different clinic and the experience was a night and day difference. The PA took her time and did not rush off after 10 minutes to another appointment. I also received a treatment for a long term problem that had never been offered to me at my old clinic. The office runs very efficiently and the environment is peaceful and quiet - no stupid television shows blasting in the waiting room. No hard core selling effort for a particular sun screen or other products, treatments etc. was made, just professional service and options.

New Patient Appointment for my daughter. We completed paperwork prior to appt. Scheduled apt 1 week in advance, we had to take my daughter out of school for the apt. It took longer than expected to get her out of class so we arrived 9min late. They took paperwork walked to the back. Came back up and said we would need to reschedule all together. I wonder if the owners of this practice know they are allowing there employees to throw away money and new patients. We left and will never go there again! Anyone looking at this that need an amazing dermatolagist. Right next door, is a great dermatolagist. Phoenix Dermatology, they saw my daughter immediately and were so kind and amazing. GO SEE THEM!

My visit to Spectrum Dermatologys N. Tatum location was very satisfying. The 2 young women at the front desk were very pleasant, helpful and professional. The check in was very easy and I was made to feel welcome, comfortable and "at ease". My appointment with Dr. Jeffy and her P.A., Dijana was "top notch" as well. They were both extremely professional. My many questions were answered thoroughly and I was not made to feel rushed. I felt very comfortable during the exam due to their professional demeanor. I also want to comment on the office "ambiance". It was very relaxing due to the beautiful furnishings and tranquil music. I highly recommend Spectrum Dermatology.

The appointment went off without a hitch. However, I had a billing issue after a yearly dermatological checkup. I walked out of the office without any word that I owed (preventative checkups are covered 100% under my medical insurance, or so I thought). The bill was sent to the wrong address month after month. No other method of communication was used to inform me that I had an outstanding balance. I had to find out via my credit report that I had an account with a small balance in collections.

So not a happy camper.... it seems doctors just want to see you for office visits to make that money.... I dont mind but after waiting 2 weeks and getting medicines that did not work and then going back to hear nothing new starting over here seems useless..... and the best, Dr Jaffies assistant simply said bye when I did not want to wait another 2 weeks... not much customer service here... bye then...thx

I was very pleased with my appointment at Spectrum Dermatology. From beginning at the reception desk to seeing the doctor it was all very good. Very friendly, courteous and professional. Dr. Layton was thorough, communicated very well , plus being very nice. I highly recommend her. Her assistant was also very pleasant.
