Some months ago, I went in to have many skin moles examined. This so-called "doctor" simply stood several feet away from me, no exam at all, and said I was fine. Kwon did this in front of his assistant {theres a witness,if she still works there}.There was no possible way he could have known I had no dangerous moles by just standing that far away and without even asking me to show him all the moles I came in to discuss. I do have moles that are visible to people who are looking at me straight-on, but they arent all the moles I have and I expected him to take a closer look as well. He stood about 5 feet away from me,looking at me with arms folded. Kwon didnt ask to see all the moles, he didnt come near me,he didnt suggest using the exam table nor the light that was next to it. The light was there for him to use to get a good view of skin issues. I pointed that out, but he claimed he didnt need the light. Then I told him I wanted him to see the moles on the sides and back of my neck, and a large mole on the back of my leg, and that I needed to lay down to let him get a good view, mainly for the leg mole. He agreed, then still did not come very close, and never turned the exam light on. Kwon just stood near the end of the table where my feet were, and claimed everything on my neck was OK and so was my leg. My head and neck were at the far end of the table, yet he claims he could inspect them just fine by standing in the area near the other end of the exam table. I told him I wasnt happy with the exam THAT I WASNT GETTING, and he said this is the "new way" of doing them now. "Fast", he said. He also made a slightly negative sort of statement the more thorough ways dermatologists usually do exams. As if it werent necessary or important. After refusing to give me a decent exam, this "doctor" then bizarrely told me hed remove all the moles, "for $300.00". Kwon had to know I was insured by AHCCCS, so what a stupid statement to make. From the very first second I was there he showed that he couldnt be bothered to do a decent exam. He could have done a thorough and well-lit exam and also that would have greatly relieved my worries. But I left there wondering what on earth had just happened, and after all that was still uncertain about the true state of my moles. I know it wasnt a decent medical exam, and I felt he wasnt a very honest person.

My family member called to make an appointment and explained that he had a rapidly growing lump on his nose. The soonest appointment he could get was 6 weeks out. He kept the appointment and was told after a biopsy that he had skin cancer that needed the Mohs surgery to remove. When he went in for the surgery the nurse stabbed him with the anesthetic needle multiple times and chastised him for crinkling his nose from the pain. The full cost of the surgery was required at the time of the appointment, even though we have insurance that had been verified. I found out that our insurance payment in full was sent to Dr. Kwons office. Now, prior to depositing checks, the check must be applied to the patients balance, of which there was a zero balance. This should have been flagged as needing to reimburse the patient. When I called the billing department, the first question I was asked was, "Does he have any further appointments with us?" I replied, "Not $1,100 dollars worth!!!" The insurance check was cashed by this practice almost 3 weeks ago and after repeated phone calls I am still getting the run-around and no answer as to when I will be reimbursed.

My wife needed medical advice on some moles. They didt spend any time educating her or finding other options, just started making a list with the price tag attached to every single mole. She was pissed off all the way back home telling me how commercial these guys were. All About the Money..! Since when are doctors so insensitive and corrupt? Is that what you are taught in medical school, how to bill? Disgusting..
