Edit: I will admit to the possibility that I could be WRONG about what is happening to my body (I went in for scabies). This does not excuse the indifferent attitude that this clinic expressed toward my condition. I am not cured, and am finding mysterious fibers all over my body that are absolutely not my own hair, and mindblowing levels of pain and "bites". It is EXTREMELY COMMON for this sort of disease to be denied by the medical profession and for those suffering to be labeled as crazy. I do feel the need to point out this providers unacceptable, snotty attitude regardless of who is correct or not. ------ I went into this office early Feb, 2016 to see Ms. Caudle, PA-C to treat scabies. Without much thought or thorough examination, without lifting up my shirt to see the visible track marks left behind by the insect, she prescribed a dermatitis cream and basically said I was fine. She said that since my ivermectin (prescribed by a CVS clinic) treatment did not work, that I did not have scabies in the first place. What a place she must be in to be able to guarantee a drugs result like this! I was told over and over again that I did not have anything wrong with me in a demeaning manner and was told to come back in four weeks. I started to tear up because I was literally pulling bugs off of me with dollar store lotion every day. I have been in my skin for 27 years, I know there should not be random spirals and dots coming out of my skin (after a shower, no less)! I will never be entering this place, not in four weeks and not ever again, that is for sure. Later that night I had a terrible anxiety attack, the worst I ever had. I thought all was lost and that I had this condition for life. However, I decided to give permethrin a try. I had requested ivermectin from the CVS clinic and also got a paper for the perm cream "just in case". I went ahead and used a tube of perm cream (anti-scabies) for the first time. I used the iver first because I thought it was proven to be more effective, however I was proven wrong. The next day after using the perm cream, which Ms. C said she would not prescribe "anymore" (even though I did not say I had used this specific medication before) I saw over 200+ spots on my body where a scabies mite had struggled and presumably died. When I put on some lotion after rinsing off, I did not see any more weird dots and crap coming out of my skin. I saw maybe 2-3, but that was way different than seeing the usual 50+ coming out. Hmmmm! I dont think it takes a complete genius to see that the perm cream did something positive, even though the after effect was a bit gruesome to witness. Dont come here, tell your friends not to come here. This place is deepy rooted in old style thinking and "the doctor (or provider... in this case) is always right!" At one point my age was used against me as well, with Ms. C lording her years of experience over me in a manner that was truly cringeworthy. Spare me. I will go somewhere where I am taken seriously. I encourage you to do the same.

Yes, I am a real person, and everything I state in this review is entirely factual and entirely accurate. I have kept my first name private for confidential reasons due to the nature of how horrific my experience has been here. I hope that this review reaches out to as much people as possible, and I encourage anyone, and everyone to read reviews and do research to prevent yourself from being harmed by a doctor, or a clinic. My experience here should promote you to reconsider ever visiting Arrowhead Dermatology under any circumstance. After reading my review you will be so disgusted that you would never want to visit such a horrific place. There is not one positive thing I have to say about this place. My experience here began in 2012 when I sought treatment for a depressed acne scar. The lead doctor Dr. Haar suggested he could excise the scar, and it would be a line. The excision failed horribly, and I was left with a catastrophic scar. I had to have a plastic surgeon excise the scar once again, and then Dr. Haar offered to Fraxel it at low cost. The lead doctor here destroyed the cheek area of my face. I spared his career, and his practice a malpractice case, and yes I had every right to a malpractice case, and I truly believe I would have won. The two year allocated time period for filing a case for the improper excision I received at Arrowhead Dermatology has expired, but I have another horrific part to my story that will hopefully convince you to never visit such a place. I started doing Fraxel restore treatments here which led to multiple burn scars in my cheek area as well. After looking at the scarring I have received from Fraxel Restore at this place, the scarring shows a pattern which may mean they were doing intentionally. What kind of medical practice is this ? How is this place still running ? Those are the only two questions I want answered. I am warning anyone who reads to this DO NOT ever VISIT this place. Save yourself your time, and money. This place is equivalent to Hell. The people here should not be practicing medicine, and the entire place should be shut down in entirety. God forbid anyone else has to suffer such a horrific experience I have, and keep in my mind my review only covers the basics of my experience here, and does not enlist the amount of personal suffering that has been caused to due to such negligent, and poor treatment. I do have pictures and documentation of my experience. I hope you know that this is entirely real, and may my experience guide you to a better place.

Wow! Nasty & very rude right out of the gate. 8/28/2015 at 11:50 am: After being on hold for several minutes to schedule what would have been my first appointment with Arrowhead Dermatology, the receptionist answered the phone harshly. Then she kept saying very irritably that she cannot hear me. When I asked her if the office could treat me for facial scarring left from a certain condition she said quite bluntly, "NO!". And then silence. I was pretty shocked since that is basically what dermatologist do: treat acne scaring and other skin conditions with lasers, peels and such. Well, if you are that rude and unwilling to treat common issues, than I certainly do not want you as my dermatologist. You might consider re-educating/replacing your reception, as they are your "front-line" and either repel or attract clients. You do want clients and business dont you? Or are you just there to insult people who are unfortunate enough to call you. With staff this rude and unsupervised, what are the doctors like? Beware of this dermatologist office in Peoria, Arizona.

I wait 2 weeks for an appointment. I show up 4 minutes late as I had an issue at work evolve on my way out the door. Life happens. I wait a few minutes for them to tell me that they take lunch at 12pm and since I am a new patient it is not enough time. When would I like to reschedule? I said thats OK Ill go somewhere else who cares. What a joke! The PA couldnt cut 5 minutes into their lunch time? Choose a practice who wants your business.
