Let me start off by saying I have never been a fan of going to the dentist. I was even more nervous this time as I was going for a toothache I had been having for a few days. I am amazed at how quickly this office has changed my views! I called at 7:30 on Monday morning and they were able to see me that afternoon. The receptionist remembered me when I came in, gave me a tour of the office, and introduced me to the rest of the staff. Dr. Dickerson was absolutely wonderful. He explained everything to me thoroughly and while I was nervous about getting my wisdom teeth removed, they eased my nerves and even made the appointment with the oral surgeon right there in the office. Can you say customer service?! I really enjoyed my experience here and I am overjoyed to have found a dentist so close to my home and with such great people. Thank you South Mountain Family Dental!

I would say I had a good experience, but I cant. I was recommended here, and I had high hopes. The front desk staff was lovely, and the office is extremely nice. However, thats about it. I came in to get a simple procedure done, and they did everything but that. I was given a list of things and a price quote that I did not ask for. In the end, I felt I wasted an hour and left without even a simple teeth cleaning. I dont need to be upselled, and I would like what I asked for. The nice staff was the only thing that made this visit enjoyable. However, dont hand me a bill and practically tell me that," It couldve been worse." Try your hand somewhere else. I wish I couldve had a better experience.

My husband and I have both had excellent experiences at this office. The front office staff is very personable and pleasant. I came to my appointment during my lunch break from work and they made sure I was in and out very quick. There was no wait time before they took me back. The hygienist was quick and did a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Dickerson was very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall I had an excellent experience at this office! I would recommend this office to anyone living in the area that needs to find a great dentist.

Dr. Dickerson and his staff are amazing! I hate going to the dentist, as most people do, but Dr. Dickerson and his team make every visit enjoyable and painless! They go above and beyond with customer service and explain my insurance benefits to me. From my recare visits to fillings, crowns and my Invisalign ortho treatment, I have never been more impressed with a dentist. immediately felt like I was in the right place at this dental office. The receptionists, Kristen and Rachel, welcomed me, and then I was given a tour of the entire office before beginning my dental work. The technicians and dentist were professional and explanatory while completing their work, and I was followed up with by another staff member the day after my procedure. Overall, an excellent experience.

South Mountain Family is the best experience Ive had at the dentist! The staff are thorough in the work, yet quick and VERY gentle. Everything is explained (complete with a tour of the office) and there is a feeling of comfort throughout the office. Dr. Dickerson is knowledgable in his field and clearly knows about teeth and is so personable! I highly recommend paying South Mountain Family a visit!

I have only had one dentist in my 31 years of life and a few months ago he retired and Dr. Dickerson took over. I went in for a schedule cleaning had a broken filling which he squeezed me in during the same visit to fix. That was a great sign for me entering something brand new.
