I originally came to this office for two reasons: 1) the positive reviews and 2) the proximity to my house. As someone who hadnt been to the dentist in 4 years, I was eager to go and find my permanent dentist. Unfortunately, I was incredibly disappointed by the upselling and unwillingness to provide the services that I wanted. I went in for a visit and asked for a cleaning. They said before they did that I needed an exam to see what type of cleaning I needed. That should have been a red flag, but I overlooked it. I got there and the service was fine/average. I came out and was told that I needed a "deep cleaning" (which is different from a regular one and is not covered by insurance). I had two cavities, which normal considering that I hadnt been in a while. The receptionist informed me that the cleaning alone would be nearly $500 and that the fillings would be $150. I talked to my husband who let me know this is atypical, so I called to try to request a regular cleaning. The receptionist said that she needed to consult her "dental hygienist." She called me back and said that they could not give me a regular cleaning because I had "periodontal disease." Now, I understand that my teeth need a cleaning, but now they are claiming I have a disease? This was after I was told at my appointment by the dentist that it was probably a "good idea" to get the deep cleaning because its been so long. They by no means indicated it was to cure a disease. I dont think I will be going back. They just want your money and dont get that people cant put a significant portion of their monthly income to a "deep cleaning." What happened to just being able to get a cleaning?

I have been a client of this Gentle Dental for years and really liked Dr. Fuller, but Ive had such bad experiences with their office/billing that I cant recommend them to anyone. I went in to replace 4 existing fillings and the office staff made a big deal about ensuring I signed an estimate. The estimate, based on my insurance coverage, was around $96 total. The fillings went fine, I paid, and left. About 5 months later I received a bill for an additional $102. I was very alarmed by this and after calling Gentle Dental and my insurance, determined that the estimate I was given was in fact less than 50% of what my actual cost would be based on my insurance coverage because they dont cover white fillings for molars, and my insurance told me that this information was readily available to Gentle Dental and they should have given me an option for silver fillings or notified me of the lack of coverage on my estimate, which they didnt do. Long story short (and it was a LONG STORY), I finally managed to speak with a district manager at Gentle Dentals parent company (who was, I think, very unhappy that someone transferred me to her) and she wrote off about half of the additional bill. I paid the remainder. Then I kept getting bills for the written off amount for 4 more months and called them every time and they kept saying it wouldnt happen again. Im pretty bummed that I cant trust this office anymore since the location is very convenient for me, but its not worth the risk. I highly recommend finding a different location/company.

Dont get confused by polarized reviews here. All the positive ones were before this place turned into "Gentle Dental" (it was "smiles on broadway"). I have similar experience with Emily Marx. Went to this place in 2015, did a deep cleaning, showed them my insurance info and paid my due amount. I then moved to Scottsdale and never visit this place again. Guess what happened 2 years later? Got a COLLECTION BILL, saying I owe them 200 bucks. First of all, I paid it off at your office, and I have a bank statement to prove that; secondly, if I reeeeeally owe you something, why havent I received any kind of notice?

I have had extensive work done here, Dr Fuller and Sandy are amazing, empathetic, compassionate and amazing people as well as helpful assets when it comes to dentistry. I have had my fair share of bad dental horror stories both heard from friends and a couple bad experiences myself. They are always willing to numb you up more, which for me is a huge issue as my nerves just dont die down. Reasonably priced, fair understanding and helpful tips for questions about the work theyre doing for you. Will be sending family and friends.

MISS Smile on Broadway and CANNOT say one good word about Gentle Dental. Rude Staff! Dentists do not make you feel comfortable! Billing has been an absolute headache with Gentle Dental. As I advised their office last week. I WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS WITH MY INSURANCE BUT THEY JUST LOST OUR WHOLE FAMILY AS CLIENTS! I would HIGHLY recommend to find a DIFFERENT dentist; this office is NO longer Family Oriented, People Friendly!

The office is tremendous!! The staff is amazingly informative and really know what theyre doing when it comes to patient health and happiness. The doctors are very professional and gentle, they make you feel like family instead of a stranger, and always make me feel comfortable when Iam there, even with my fear of dentists :) Very beautiful office that accomidated me immediately. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! :)

I had some work done at smiles on broadway. A filling. While flossing a year later, the filling cracked in half. Dr. Fuller and his staff got me in right away. At no cost fixed the tooth. Even though it had been a year since I last saw Dr. Fuller. The office in nice and clean. Updated dental equipment seems to be used here. Tvs in each dental chair room. Dr is very comfortable to be around.

Called on Tuesday about a possible infected wisdom tooth. They took me in 25 min later. They told me I had to get wisdom tooth pulled and they could do it tomorrow, which is today and saw me at around 2. Besides the fact that Im still bleeding, it was as good of a dentist visit your going to get. Just glad they saw me on such short notice, which I was very happy about. Nice people too,

I went here as my first dentist experience in AZ. They were very nice to me and found nothing wrong with my teeth. Apparently the wisdom teeth are coming out causing pain. I would have gave 5 stars cause they didnt charge me for the sake of charging me. I am glad to be in good hands. Will post these up as I gain more experience with them.

Dr. Fuller is great at what he does. For quite a bit of work being done, I barely felt a thing! The costs were very reasonable, the staff was friendly and caring, and I walked away not fearing my next visit. Great job all!

Got a chipped tooth fixed and it only took about 15 minutes. Dr. Sean Fuller is awesome and the whole staff was very kind and accommodating. I will definitely be back (hopefully not soon! haha)

Less expensive than all the other places near my home. I travel quite a way just to go here. Also accurate and willing to share less expensive alternative treatments. Friendly and positive.
