I was having excruciating and debilitating low back pain every day for about one year.  I have MS, and my neurologist chalked it up to MS-related neurological pain. There is no cure for MS.  Would I have to live in pain forever?   I tried physical therapy, which did not help.  I tried gabapentin, a Rx my neurologist recommended to calm my nerves down.  Those little pills not only made me weak and dizzy, but they did not take away my PAIN.  The only thing that gave me relief was Vicodin, and I was taking 3-4 pills a day just to get through the day!  I knew I couldnt take Vicodin forever, but what could possibly make me feel better?   After months and months of worsening back pain complaints, my neurologist reluctantly referred me for chiropractic treatment.  My HMO randomly approved Winer Chiropractic.    When I walked through the door for my initial evaluation with Dr. Winer in May 2011, I felt hopeless.  I was in pain, and nothing up until that point had helped me beyond a temporary fix.  Dr. Winer seemed optimistic that he could relieve at least some of my pain, which is really all I was hoping for.     After a few treatments, Dr. Winer asked me how my diet is.  And that was all I needed to hear.  That one question was the push I needed to start eating better.   I altered my diet, I kept getting manipulations twice a week, and now, my low back pain is almost non-existent!  Finally!  No more Vicodin!   I never expected such significant results.  I have Dr. Winer to thank for not only relieving my back pain and for setting me on a healthy dietary plan, but for giving me hope.

I was referred to Dr. Kenneth Winer by my HMO. In November of 2012 I began my treatment for serious low back pain and neck discomfort I have suffered with for 5 years. I was miserable mostly at nightime, especially for my low back pain. I tried Physical Therapy for a while before going to Dr. Winer and it seemed to aggravate the problem more. At first I was skeptical as to Dr. Winers being able to help me and thought I would have to live with this horrible pain forever. I decided to go with an open mind and with a "what have I got to loose" attitude. The first few months I went 3 times a week and then gradually tapered off to once a week as I felt improvement. Never, in my wildest expectations, would I have thought that only after 8 months of Dr. Winers care I would be saying I am now 99.9% pain free and my neck discomfort has gone down to a minimal also. All of this care is done without drugs of any kind. Its good to sleep pain free. Antonia, in the front office, always welcomes me and makes sure my insurance referrals are taken care of on time. The offices are always neat and clean and your wait time is no more than 10 to 15 mins. I am looking forward to having maintenance adjustments from Dr. Winer to assure I stay pain free. From the very first call to his office you are made to feel welcome and respected by Dr. Winer and his caring and knowledgeable staff. He offers Wellness care too. I was referred to Dr. Winer’s office by my insurance company, I had a pinched nerve that was causing severe neck pain and spasms down my right arm. Before I scheduled my appointment I wanted to check out his office reviews and I was pleasantly surprised with all the good reviews on YELP. My first visit to Dr. Winer; the office environment was very friendly, Antonia briefly explained what to expect and then I was promptly taken back to meet the Dr. He did a brief exam, took some x-rays and then we discussed my recommended treatment plan. At that time he also did a small adjustment which to my surprise relieved a lot of the tension in my neck. I have been going to Dr. Winer 2x a week for about a month now and I couldn’t be happier, the pinch nerve has subsided and my neck and lower back feel great. I have learned the importance of maintenance chiropractic care and not only will I be returning for all my maintenance care I have happily referred Dr. Winer to all of my friends and family. I was referred to Dr. Winer’s office by my family physician, Dr. G. I had been suffering from severe chronic pain in my upper back and shoulder area. It was so severe until I was having trouble sleeping and functioning properly at work. I have been treating at Dr. Winer’s for approximately three months. The treatment here went far beyond my expectations. I thought that I might have to have an operation on the vertebrae in my neck. But, to my surprise and wonder, after a few weeks of treatment I noticed that the pain I was suffering before was all but gone. Everyone here at the office is extremely pleasant and professional. The office environment is most comforting and Dr. Winer is the best. I have truly come to be a believer in chiropractic care. I used to think it was a pseudo science, but now I can see the benefit it can be to relieving human suffering and pain. I would recommend chiropractic treatment to anyone with skeletal pain.

I was referred to Dr. Winer by my General Practitioner, due to the intensity and frequency of the headaches I had been experiencing for many years. I finally asked my doctor what he thought about Chiropractic care as an alternative to more pills and to my surprise he agreed we should give it a try. I started my treatment over a month ago and feel better than ever! The intensity and frequency of my headaches have decreased significantly since I started my treatment. I also had some minimal lower back pain and Dr. Winer took care of that as well. The office is always comfortable and clean. Both Dr. Winer and Antonia in the front office are welcoming and friendly. Winer Chiropractic and all its staff, including and especially Dr. Winer have been extremely helpful and wonderfully caring. All the staff has taken care of any and all issues that have arisen, and the Dr. is very patient, relaxing, and a great listener to what is going on in your life to make chiropractic care work for you and what you do. Being a technician where you have to constantly contort your body isnt great for your back and nervous system, but Dr. Winer has been able to give me mobility that I thought was long gone.
