Mike helped my 15 year-old daughter recover from a bad ankle sprain so she could get back into playing volleyball. He taught her simple exercises to strengthen her muscles, and how to be safe while putting weight back on the ankle. After 4 sessions (and diligently doing her exercises) she was able to slowly get back into the game. That was 4 months ago, and shes still doing great. Mike also helped me with pain that resulted from a back injury 2 years ago. I had sciatic nerve pain that was getting worse. I had tried acupuncture, massage, Pilates, and chiropractic adjustments but all of those provided a bit of pain relief that was temporary. Mikes method of functional manual therapy has been the only thing that has provided permanent pain relief! Its unbelievable, and I am so grateful. This was the missing key to my healing process. Not only is Mike great at what he does, hes a good guy as well...down-to-earth and easy to relate with. It is easy to see that he loves finding the underlying cause of pain and helping people heal. Although he does not take health insurance, he does provide a receipt with medical billing codes that you can submit to your insurance company. My daughter and I highly recommend Mike Plachy.

Mike is an AMAZING PT! My 11 year old daughter had so much knee pain she had to stop playing soccer. After a year of seeing a different PT and doing 90 minutes of exercises everyday, she was still in pain whenever she tried to run. Her knees felt better after the first session with Mike. He is so knowledgeable and great at explaining what was causing the pain and what needed to be done to fix it. She now has 4 exercises that she does daily and only take about 10 minutes. She is playing soccer again and running without pain. We cant thank Mike enough. Without him I wouldnt get to see the huge smile on my daughters face after every soccer practice and game.

Ive been a patient of Michaels on two separate occasions for two different problems, and each time hes been great! Hes extremely, extremely knowledgable and effective -- the most recent problem (hip pain) had kept me from walking normally for weeks, and Plachy Physical Therapy was able to correct it within 2 visits. Would absolutely recommend to anyone considering physical therapy!

Great PT session!! I was amazed how quickly you were able to pinpoint and treat the pain I was having in my shoulder and arm. I went in to meet you with limited mobility and pain in my shoulder/arm, and walked out feeling mobile and pain free! I highly recommend you to friends / anyone needing a good physical therapist.
