*SEE YELP* The consultation started with me telling the dr whats been bothering me & then he did a physical exam on a table reaffirming me that everything I described, as far as my symptoms, were because my spine wasnt aligned. I thought ok, I would go home & think about continuing treatments or if I should get a second opinion... but instead, I get told about the different payment plans and options--cash offering the most discounted price! I was still pretty unsure about it all, since I had just transitioned jobs & I was adjusting my finannces. I kept getting told by the dr that I would need this therapy plan & how it would help my ailments. He told me he would correct my spine & do a down payment on the plan. I go out into the busy lobby to wait to be "corrected". Im sitting there on the wobbly pad and watching the dr adjust clients. As we start with my adjustment, I notice just how it was drastically different than the other clients adjustments. I understand everyone has different treatments because our symptoms are not the same, but this was just really strange. I get told how Im going to be sore & achy for a few days & got a complimentary ice pack. I went back to Kacy & she made a follow-up appointment w/ me a wk later & processed the down payment. A few days after my adjustment, I had gotten sick & really lethargic. I couldnt even call to cancel my app. because my throat was hurting so bad. I texted to let the office know I wouldnt be making my follow-up. I was told I needed to come back in ASAP to get realigned. I found that to be really bizarre... 2 days after my missed app., I decided to go in to get the realignment done. I told them I decided I wouldnt be able to continue w/ the treatment plan & I planned on looking for someone under my insurance. This lady, I dont remember her name, then intervened & I was asked how much I could afford each month. I let her know what my budget was, she said she would go discuss it with the dr. Thats when a special "hardship" price was offered to me. The 1st thing Dr Bergerhouse asked me after consulting w/ the woman was "you live in Folsom?" I found the question unnecessary as I clearly wrote my address on the form I had already filled out. It felt like a slap in the face. What does that have to do with my treatment??? I was pitched a price of $215 a month for 6 months. I kept being told over & over how I shouldnt tell anyone the special price I was receiving & that I was being offered this price because they cared. Unfortunately, I didnt feel like anyone there was being very empathetic. After telling dr Bergerhouse how my coworkers were waiting to hear how my experience was at his practice before they go to him, his attitude changed--weird! Im still thinking of giving him a shot & the benefit of the doubt. I go back to the front with Kacy & notice the other woman had been talking to her about my special pricing plan. Kacy tells me "$250, right?" in a very low, barely audible voice. I almost misheard her, but I told her "no, I thought it was $215?" She laughed awkwardly & said "oh, I must have misunderstood" when the paper she was given clearly said $215 on it that was given to her by the woman. By this time, I just had this gut-wrenching feeling that something was not right. She processed my card information & payment plan for the next 6 months & I went home. After being home for 2 hours, I was overwhelmed by the disgust & lack of professionalism from this business. Ive never felt so judged & disgusted in all my life. I decided to write an email to Dr Bergerhouse explaining the experience I had there. I was not rude or angry or upset, it truly saddens my heart to know that there are people out there that will take advantage of people who truly need help. I asked him for nothing other than for him to learn better business practices. *SEE YELP*

I found out about Dr. J when he came to give a talk about health at my workplace. I had been experiencing lots of aches and pains, as well as having difficulty breathing. I came to have an evaluation with Dr. J and was so impressed by how thorough he was in looking at everything that was going on with my health. He laid out a plan of treatment and the first thing that improved was my breathing. I used to have constant pain in my knee which is now gone. My body just feels like it is working better since I have started getting treatment. My mind is also clearer and I can think better. I really like that Dr. J cares about my total health picture, not just my spine! And I always leave his office with a more cheerful and upbeat outlook. I highly recommend him. He works very hard and really cares about his patients and helping people enjoy better health.

Doctor J came in our office to speak at one of our meetings What he said made a lot of sense, so I thought I would check it out and see if it worked. I had off and on neck and shoulder pain, my posture needed correcting in addition to being diagnosed with hypothyroidism by my medical doctor. I am not one for taking medication but I knew I had to do something to correct this issue. I quit taking my thyroid medication and after two months of seeing Doctor J I no longer have pain in my neck and shoulders. My thyroid blood test results have dramatically improved and I would like to think my posture has improved. He is a wonderful chiropractor as well as very nice man. Kassi is a sweetheart and her and Doctor J are both very accommodating. I would and do highly recommend going to see him. Im confident we all have something to gain from Doctor J!

I cant enough positive about Dr Jay! Back in August I limped into his office in debilitating lower back pain and unable to work. Within a matter of six weeks of treatment i am back to work with minimal pain. Dr Jays commitment to your healing is paramount, his treatment plan for me even included him referring me to another Dr for additional treatments to help speed my recovery. Its truly a go joy visiting his office, I am always greeting with a big smile and a friendly "Hello" from his office manager April. Back pain is no fun, but getting better is Awesome. Looking forward to hitting the slopes in 2017! Thanks Dr Jay

Went in to Dr.Jay with horrible sciatic pain and numbness in my entire right leg. He did and evaluation and x-rays and we developed a long term plan. I have been going for about 2 months now and feel great. I did want to mention that about three weeks into the treatment I as having some pain after adjustments and I spoke with him and he immediately changed the procedures and it has been great ever since. I really love the fact that your not just another person walking in the door. I believe he wants you to walk out healthy and improve your quality of life. I would recommend, and have recommended him to everyone.
