PRINT OUT YOUR APPOINTMENT if you have made an appointment online, print it out and give them a copy of the webpage. We made an appointment on their website, but they did not have a record of it. TELL THEM YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT when you check in. Otherwise you will be a walk-in person and have to wait. BE PREPARED TO WAIT If its busy it seems like you have to wait even if you have an appointment. The appointment time does not mean you will get in exactly at that time. If you dont have an appointment it can take a while depending on how many lab techs are working that day. BRING DOCUMENTS they need your state issued ID and your insurance cards. A photocopy will not suffice. We go there because its convenient. They have been doing a lot to clean it up. Sometimes its busy. Be sure to bring a book or magazine.

TIP- CALL BEFOREHAND to confirm if you need to be fasting. The phlebotomist told me after she drew my blood that the test results would probably mean nothing because I had eaten breakfast and I was supposed to be fasting. But no one told me that and it was nowhere in my appointment details. Based on what I overheard in the waiting room I am not the only one who had this confusion. A little hard to find off Main Street entrance, no obvious signs in the parking lot or in the building complex itself. Waiting room felt cold, bare, and uninviting. Add some fake flowers or health/fitness posters or something. Staff was nice but not loquacious.

I went to quest diagnostics in Huntington Beach on main street to get a blood test. I received a phone message later in the afternoon to return the call. When I try to return the call it was impossible to talk to a person. If you dont want to make an appointment, cancel an appointment, get your test results, good luck talking to a person! Why would someone in the office leave you a phone message saying to call back knowing perfectly well that you cannot call back and talk to anyone!

this is the quickest least painful way to get labs done. period. easy to park in back lot next to entrance, i never have to wait long, and the tech that did the drawing...awesome!!!! didnt feel a thing, she has got a feel for this :)

These ladies are good. Superb teamwork. I was literally in and out in 5 minutes (Paperwork and blood withdrawal). I highly recommend. Gentle, fast, polite.

Trying to ask a question and there is no way to get through to a person. Its all automated with no way to talk to anyone. Very stressful.

Just make sure you have an appointment. If you dont, get one. Walking in will only get you a 1-2 hour wait.
