Ive gone to SOHMA for a few different needs and all were met with amazing service and results. The first was Chiropractic, and Dr. Hoover knows his stuff! I am a triathlete that tends to injure himself frequently. I had a knee and hip ache that I was "dealing" with for quite some time until I had Dr. Hoover treat it, and the issues and aches are gone! Another way we frequent SOHMA is for the martial arts classes my son attends. Daniel is an authentic and very knowledgeable martial artist trained in Shaolin Kempo and is great passing down the art! I couldnt think of a better sensei to trust my son with. And yet another visit recently has been to buy herbs from Daniel, also a Master Herbalist, to help aide the healing of my daughters broken arm. Ive also been attending Daniels black belt workouts during lunch and its a great way to spend 30 minutes building fitness prior to plowing the calories into the gut :-) I love that Daniel has so many backgrounds and talents, hes like a one-stop shop! Just today during the workout session I had an extremely bad headache (the kind that make you want to pass out or throw up :-P and Daniel stops and asks if Im ok. As Ive got my hands on my knees I enlighten him to the crazy headache I have. He pulls me to his Chiro table and checks my neck. A quick adjustment (literally 30 seconds) and the headache was gone!!!! Daniel is amazing and btw as genuine and kind as they come and this place is a must experience! My advice: stop by and meet Daniel for 5 minutes. My guess would be youll have the same opinion after that as I did: How in the world did I live without this place? From the bottom of my heart Daniel, THANK YOU for all you have done for us. We are proud to be part of the SOHMA family!

When I first went to see Dr. Hoover I was a complete mess physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I felt old and run down and I was in a great deal of pain. Dr. Hoover examined me and really listened to my ailments. He ordered x-rays, which I liked, because it meant we would have tangible proof if the treatment was working. He developed a specialized course of treatment that began with adjustments, then nutrition support, and finally exercise. I am now completely pain free, I have a great deal of energy, and am much happier. I have lost 25 pounds and have a very healthy life style. And, when I had x-rays taken again, there was clear evidence that my neck, spine, and knee were healed. What I appreciated most is the fact that Dr. Hoover uses a combination of Eastern and Western medicine which made perfect sense for me. Dr. Hoover is a healer. He is kind, authentic and very, very knowledgeable. I love the energy at SOHMA and Ayla is amazing, too. Dr. Hoover helped me change my life and I am so glad I made that first appointment. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
