Regarding care, I think theyre great. Ive been a patient for probably five years. They were really nice and worked with me on anything I needed or wanted to have done. However, it recently became a challenge for me to get there -- its not along my commute to work and daycare. The staff, albeit nice, have been difficult to work with when I asked to transfer my records to my new provider that is a little more convenient for me. They cant email the release because they need it filled out in person, which is completely bogus. I can print it from email, fill it out in pen and fax it back. They would fax it to me so that I can fill it and send it back but they cant fax it out because their fax machine only works for incoming faxes. So they USPS mail it to me and I filled it out and faxed it back. Now... they can email xrays to the new practice but they cannot email charts or my xrays because they are a few years old (likely before they went live with electronic medical records). And, I was told that the person who has the code to email is out on medical leave so they cant share files with the new practice. The run-around and excuses are really unprofessional and ridiculous. Its really a shame and Im disappointed that the experience has not been more positive. Patients come and go. Its life, not personal.

I was desperately looking to have a tooth removed. By their being so many dentist in my vicinity. I was very scared to just go with just anybody. When I stumbled across a review by Marquita H, I had the need to give Bala Oral Health Center a try. Marquita was wright this place was wonderful from the time I walked in. The wonderful and very sociable staff plus beautiful was very attentive an very caring. My appointment was the very next day no problems. Plus the building has a wonderful atmosphere, very clean, did I mention very very great staff. Well the whole staff is very knowledgeable, and Dr. OBrien gave me my options was very informational an new what she was doing from the very start. Dr. OBrien said I could save the tooth but it wasnt in my budget, so she did the extraction with no hassle I felt noooooooooooo pain what so ever. She is magnificent, and I am very scared of pain and needles she had the tooth out in no time. Hell, your talking about a gentle hand that I have never had during seeing any other dentist, Dr. OBrien is the best. Bala Oral Health Center is the place to go for dental work. Keep up the great and wonderful job. As a man that hate going to the dentist I will definitely keep my appointments with Bala Oral Health Center.

Amazing! I went in to get a dental implant put in. I was very very nervous for the fact that someone will be drilling into my bone...pain....blood....uggh..... Not at all!!!!! Dr. Sani was so nice and assured me that there was no need to be nervous. (The staff was also polite and helpful!) When it was time to numb me up, I LITERALLY felt no needle pinch at all!!! I felt nothing during the whole procedure, besides the normal pressure you would typically feel during an implant. When he was done he showed me what he had done...everything was clean...all the stitching and even the cut he had to do on the gums were all neatly stitched and cleaned, of course it was a little bruised and puffy but thats expected in any surgery. They said I would feel very uncomfortable the next day....NOPE, not at all. It feels like what a bruise would feel like. Im only taking asprin to keep the swelling down...thats all. I would highley recommend anyone to Bala Oral Health!!! The prices are very fair and the experience the staff has is out of this world!

This is the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a health care provider. They are money hungry with about as much ethics as a used car lot, they just want to bill you or your insurance, they have outlandish cancellation policies and that are far from human compassion demanding $45, i am sorry but I have a busy schedule and going to the dentist is not the most important thing in my life. They called my cell phone 3 times in a row once interrupting me during a business meeting, then called my office phone as well. Dr Sani is a shrewd woman that made me feel very uncomfortable in the chair with snide remarks about the condition of a tooth. Do yourself a favor and pick the next dentist on the list, is it really that hard to put that patients needs ahead of yours, I mean isnt that how it is supposed to be anyway?

Dr. Sani-Khatam is the most excellent dentist Ive ever experienced. He popped out my wisdom teeth like he was picking cherries. I had an infection in a tooth that had had a root canal. The endodontist who originally did it said he would have to pull it. I went to Dr. Sani who thought he had a good chance of saving the tooth if he redid the root canal. He was right. Caitlyn is a wonderful hygienist. Very thorough and gentle. The women at the front desk are nice and efficient. Dr. Sani runs a high quality ship.

We have been going to Bala Oral Health for 8 years. They have provided outstanding dental and ortho services for me and my entire family. My daughter, who has now finished college, still comes back from out of state to get her dental exams done here. My 12 year old has gone there since she was 4 years old and just loves the place.

I have been their client for over 20 years. Regardless of how far I have moved (sometimes as far as Baltimore), I have refused to go anywhere else. I like quality of their work, the way they care, friendly staff and their honesty. The last one is very important for me since it is a rare commodity these days.

Best dentists office ever (and I have been to many!) I typically saw Dr. Anderson who is very knowledgeable as well as extremely nice. I also had my wisdom teeth out there and I cant explain how easy they made the procedure for me. Everything about this place is wonderful.
