I was on a vacation in Napa Valley and I was experiencing some stiffness and pain in my neck and lower back from an injury that I had sustained a few months before my trip. I was seeing a chiropractor, but my trip was a week in length and I didnt want to wait till I got home to receive treatment. I went to Giles Family Chiropractor and was seen by Dr. Paul. Not only did he provide an exceptional service, but he is very smart and provided me with a lot of information that my current chiropractor had not. During the initial assessment Dr. Paul took xrays (Unlike Dr. Paul, my current chiropractor had not taken xrays and I learned how important it is to take xrays before any treatment begins, as then you know what and how to treat a problem like mine) Dr. Paul discovered that I had a straight neck. This is a condition, that left untreated can cause bone spurs and De-calcification of the joints in the neck (information provided by Dr. Paul) Dr. Paul took the time to go over my xrays and explain all of this to me, using language that I understood. He was very patient and friendly and took the time that I needed to answer all of my questions. I received treatment from Dr. Paul for the entire week that I was in Napa. And I felt better immediately following the first treatment. Not only did Dr. Paul help me when I was in Napa, but when I left he provided me with information and recommendations for chiropractic care and continuing care when I returned back home. To date, I have been seeing a chiropractor back home and happy to announce that after 6 months of treatment I do now have a slight bend in my neck. This is all thanks to what Dr. Paul discovered and my continuing to be able to contact him via email to ask him any questions that I may have about current treatment that my chiropractor is providing. Giles Family Chiropractic is warm, friendly and a place for people who want to be treated with care and compassion. When I came to see Dr. Kristen in August 2004, I was in pretty bad shape. I had injured my back at work and decided after about a week of back pain and headaches (and the prompting of my massage therapist) that it was time to see a chiropractor. Unfortunately, Giles Chiropractic was not the first chiropractic office I went to. I saw another chiropractor for about two weeks. After my time there, I felt worse than before I started. Plus, they were way more expensive and always ran at least a half an hour late for my scheduled appointments. So, after much frustration, I sought the advice of a friend who referred me to the great office she went to – Giles Family Chiropractic. I saw Dr. Kristen right away and did a much more detailed examination to find out why my problem really was before she tried to fix it. After Dr. Kristen figured out the problem, she spent ample time explaining what was wrong and how we were going to fix it. I liked that I was involved in this process and that she discussed everything before starting with care. Also, they are always o time, which I greatly appreciate. Within two weeks of seeing Dr. Kristen & Dr. Paul, I was feeling much better. The headaches had gone away and my back was in much better shape. It has been a long road, but everyone at Giles Family Chiropractic have been amazing every step of the way. Now Dr. Kristen and her staff are helping me in another way. I am pregnant with my first child and they are helping me (and my back) get through the pregnancy with little discomfort. Plus, it’s amazing how the research shows that it’s so much better to have chiropractic care during pregnancy. It helps you have a healthy pregnancy and delivery. Dr. Giles has given me a lot of information and guidance on my pregnancy and my overall health and well-being. I am truly thankful for her care and the care of her staff. I look forward to seeing what the future will bring with Giles Family Chiropractic by my side.

I have spent the last 2 1/2 years with Severe Daily Migraine Disorder. I started at my family doctor who ordered an MRI which was clear. He sent me to a Neurologist who began with hospitalizing me for a week. That didnt work. Went to a new neurologist who was great, but relied mostly on meds that didnt work. I had Botox injected into my face and neck twice, which made it worse. I have been put on about 25 different medications for headaches alone. I had some relief with massage for a couple months, then it got worse. I have been living inside in the dark. I basically havent been able to do anything all this time. I was living a miserable existence. A month and a half ago I decided on my own to try Chiropractic. A friend recommended Giles Family Chiropractic. I woke up and had a horrible migraine and was nauseous and my neck was so stiff. I called that morning and got an appointment for the same day. I went there, sunglasses on and tears running down my face. I was seen right away and Dr. Paul took xrays and did a thorough exam. Dr. Paul and Brenna explained what his findings were, and he adjusted me on an emergency basis that day. I went home and rested and actually had some relief that night! Dr. Paul was so concerned he called that night to see how I was. We went over a treatment plan the next day. 6 weeks later I am having only 1-2 headaches a week and they are much less severe. I am off all headache medicine. I actually smile now. I truly have a new lease on life. It was great to hear that chiropractic can help with not just back pain. WHATEVER ails you, I HIGHLY recommend a visit to Giles Family Chiropractic.Both doctors and the rest of the staff are so caring and knowledgeable.They have dramatically changed my life for the better! I could never thank them enough!

I found Giles Family Chiropractic online after an exhausting search of what to do when "conventional" medicine failed my family of 4. We were in a car accident and our HMO thought it would be just fine to "wait and see" how we felt over the weekend. I used the online email form and sent a brief statement of concerns to the Dr.s. The very FRIENDLY and CARING staff didnt just reply to me by email, but they actually tracked my phone number down and called me with an appointment for the very next day. At our appointment I was impressed that they didnt want to just get down to business and start messing with our bones. They did an assessment on my family and provided us with a ton of information that was actually USEFUL. After my husband and I had xrays done they went over them with us and explained to us in detail our injuries and what it would take to get us back to where we needed to be. Knowing that Dr Kristen is the only Pediatric Certified Chiropractor in the Valley makes me very comfortable knowing that my young children are getting top notch care. My daughter who was 2 when we started going jumps right up on the table and begs for "another turn". My son who was 10 months is very comfortable laying on my belly while getting his adjustments. We have never been treated like a number and the ladies that help out in the office are great at keeping my kiddos comfortable and "entertained" when they need to be. They never hesitate to break out the bubbles or stickers so that my husband and I can get the adjustments and information that we need. I look forward to going to our Chiropractor appointments.
