I read a few of the reviews, which were all fairly on the negative side, but we [our family] went to this clinic and we were blown away. Before I get too far along, my wife and I are both healthcare professionals so we know the business. We have gone to Lens Crafters, which is a great place, over at the Simi Valley Town Center, but the staff at the Community Vision Optometric went above and beyond! They found an eye problem that apparently I have had since birth and no one else has ever taken the time to tell me. The service was excellent with very little waiting and this year I am forced to pay out of pocket, but I really dont mind at all since we believe that their service is well worth our time and money! Great Place! Great Staff! Great Service!

I think part of the problem there is the turnover. I dont go but once a year to get my eyes checked and they always have someone new and extremely inexperienced. I called to re-order my contacts and they told me I needed an appointment for an exam so I set the appointment and a few days later they called to tell me that I could pick up my contacts...except that I hadnt had my appointment yet. So I explained that to the girl who said "well, maybe your prescription will be the same"...but no apology for the mix up. They need to be a tad more professional. The girls are nice enough. The doctor is great! Never a complaint there. They just need better training and to be a little more professional.

Like the customer below the doctor was awesome. Sales staff let me leave office with defective frame that the clerk tried to hide. Called and they ordered new frame for me. Then rcvd msg glasses ready. Oops no lenses in the glasses. Rcvd another msg that glasses ready. Went to pick up and prescription wrong. Rcvd msg again that ready and picked up. Glasses are great now but.....just rcvd another phone msg that lenses are in. Ugh the right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing there. Too bad. Wont go back.

I recently had my eyes checked at Community Vision Optometric and had a very good experience. All the employees were polite and very professional. Gracie Ner OP, was very patient with me and explained everything, in layman terms, what was going on with my eyes. She was really very good and at the same time very professional. Thank you all at Community Vision for a job well done.

Making the appointment was effortless with their appointment app. My exam was professional and the results were the best glasses I have ever had. Mona was courteous and welcoming at the front and then found the perfect glasses for me. They were ready sooner than promised.

The doctors here are very nice and every time Ive gone the experience has been pleasant. The staff are friendly as well. The doctors always take the time to thoroughly explain what they are doing and what the issues are with our vision. Would definitely recommend.

Fast , efficient and friendly. Well versed in insurance programs and how to navigate their mazes of rules and conditions. Great on site Optometrist. Comm Vision is my eye wear provider until Im dead or Jesus comes back.

The doctor are awesome. The stuff is really pushy on their sales. trying to up sale. and some of the clerk have an attitude problem. i will not go there again. and the they dont have a great selection of frames either.

I agree that service was poor back in 2008, however, now, today when I contacted them I received a quick, friendly and professional response from the assistant there. Was very pleased. The doctor was always good.
